Director Liu Zhangmu clarified that the premise of #Mobius DOES NOT involve an infinite loop.
Instead, their world follows a structured cycle that repeats 5 times, beginning at midnight (00:00) and concluding at 24:00.
At the end of each cycle, time resets to midnight, and individuals within this world lose all memory of previous loops — except for a select few who retain their recollections across iterations.
These individuals are referred to as “Time Loop Perceivers” Ding Qi, portrayed by #BaiJingTing, is one such Time Loop Perceiver.
As a police officer, he utilizes the first four iterations to gather clues and evidence, allowing him to solve cases or prevent crimes by the final cycle.
The 5th and final loop, known as the “Ultimate Cycle Day,” presents the most challenging and complex iteration he has encountered, primarily due to the presence of others who, like him, retain their memories and continuously alter the course of events.
Consequently, rather than experiencing an infinite repetition, this final cycle operates more like a countdown.
The narrative focuses on how Ding Qi strategically leverages his retained memories across the five cycles within a single day to resolve criminal cases. This crucial day is aptly named the “#不眠日” (direct translation: Sleepless day)

Episode 1
It started very emotionally. Sang Yan parted sadly with Wen Yi Fan after he realised that he was only a back up option to her. This was in high school.
Several years later, her best friend, Zhong Si Qiao, dragged Yi Fan to go to a gastropub. As they entered, a singer on guitar was singing Forever Star, an ost to Hidden Love.
Lo and behold, she spotted Sang Yan at the bar which distracted her causing her to bump into a waiter carrying their drinks. The drink toppled over her shirt. The commotion was noticed by Sang Yan. He was waiting outside the loo for Wen Ji but pretended he did not know. He did give her his leather jacket to cover herself up as he felt responsible being the bar owner.
That would have been the end of it but a couple of days later she had to return to the pub to inquire whether she had dropped her bracelet by her table that night. Again, Sang Yan was there and very dismissive of her, making it sound like she was after him.
I have to say, the drama was dissimilar to its ‘sister’ drama Hidden Love which is prodominantly lighter in tone with cuteness overload.
The First Frost is gritty or darker. Yi Fan was living a rather miserable life. She was almost assaulted by an opportunist married guy who lived in a share house with her and other tenants. Her situation was depressing. She felt that everything was on top of her.
But finally there was a glimmer of hope. She was surprised by her co-workers and the police by presenting her a commendation because she managed to make a couple of illegal immigrants give themselves up after she saved them from a car crash. She was then told by Manager Chen Yan Qin that she was just been made a permanent reporter at Nanwu Tv Station.
Nanwu Tv was covering the New Year’s Party in the park celebration when she bumped to Sang Yan again.
This episode also showed a little bit of Sang Zhi and Duan Jia Xu.
I love the first episode. It such a nostalgic feel to it of the days gone by.
The cast is great.
The setting was 1978.
Anyway, Wang Xin is a newly graduate, working as a conductor in a steam train. He is very capable and very diligent at his job.
The train is fully loaded and was rather chaotic with every inch of the train used. There were animals in cages and babies on makeshift cradle/hammock tethered on the overhead luggage compartments. Some even slept on the compartment.
Despite, the packed surrounding, everything was running smoothly as Wang Xin and the others were regularly patroling the cabins.
But then a man suddenly woken up and found that his bad had gone missing.
Wang Xin told him to calm down. He then helped him look for the bag which contained bread buns which he stuffed with cash so he does not get pickpocketted. The bag was found by a very observant Wang Xin from a rather shifty looking passenger. All was well.
But then a couple of policemen board the train with a man in a handcuff.
The man in the handcuff managed to escape from the police but Wang Xin gave chase. The man though got away by jumping off the train window.
Wang Xin sustained sprained wrist.
The next time he went to work, he could not believe that he walked into the convict that got away. He learned that he was Ma Kui, a former train police who wrongly convicted to spend 13 years in prison.
Ma Kui is now Wang Xin’s mentor. Wang Xin could not take this seriously as he thinks that Ma Kui is old and have been left by modern times.
Episode 2
Ma Kui tried to integrate with his family. Suyang, his wife, was happy to see him after 10 years but Ma Yan was aloof and awkward towards him. He knew it could only be expected.
Anyway, he told her to study and pass the exam to go to university. Muyan said she does not want to go to uni.
Ma Kui found out that Ma Yan had Wang Xin’s Sherlock Holmes’ novel.
He took it from her and returned it to Wang Xin and warned him not to go near his daughter anymore.
Wang Xin could only say that it was Ma Yan who grabbed the book from him.
Yao Yu Ling collapsed due to malnutrition. She had been using her vouchers to buy fabrics for new dresses rather than food.
Wang Xin gave her his tin of White Rabbit candy. Yao Yu Ling thought that he had a crush on her so she started flirting with him.
Episode 3
Wang Yong Ge came to visit Ma Kui. Ma Kui dismissed him because he believed that Wang YongGe could have testified for him 10 years ago but he did not.
Wang Yong Ge is Wang Xin’s father.
Meanwhile, Niu Da Li who had a massive crush on Yao Yu Ling stole Egg Queen, the precious hen of Wu Chang Gui’s wife.
Old Wu’s wife made such a fuss that the whole village were looking for the chicken.
They could not find the hen because Da Li had already roasted it and feeding it to Yao who invited Wang Xin to eat with them.
When the three found out the trouble they were in, they decided to get a replacement chicken. Unfortunately the hen they smuggled into the hen house was sick which made the other chicken die.
Old Wu’s wife was heartbroken and so were the villagers. A meeting was cold and Wang Xin being a policeman was tasked to investigate. Feeling partly responsible, he secretly bought ten young chickens as replacement.
Ma Kui got into trouble because Wang Xin jumped out of the train window to chase thieves. Ma Kui was told that he can’t control his disciple.
Episode 4
There is always a drama on the train. This time an almost married couple lost an expensive watch.
Episode 5
Ma Yan failed Gaokao so her father told her just to repeat the year and retake the exam.
Yao and the uniform. Dali exchanged his grain coupon for a cloth voucher for Yao.
Episode 6
The episode started with a child abduction on the steam train. Unfortunately it was not solved as there was no trace, evidence or witness except a hysterical mother.
Lu Xue Lin and Bai Yu Xia are lovers who are in a long distance relationship.
It was painful everytime they part on the steam train to go on their separate ways until next time. Xue Lin begged Yu Xia to give her job up.
Yu Xia was unhappy that Xuelin mentioned it so she said they should break up. Xuelin was crashed by Yu Xia won’t change her mind.
Ma Kui just able to tolerate that Wang Xin was always at his house to tutor Ma Yan. But he told Ma Yan to keep away from Wang Xin.
Ma Yan refused so Ma Kui was so annoyed he brought up how it had been hellish for him in prison for the last 10 years.
Ma Yan made her mother and father cry when she told them that she lived through hell as well. She was a pariah at school. No matter how hard she studied, she was ignored and not trusted. The classmates and even the parents talked behind her back. It got so bad she contemplated several time to jump into the river but she could not leave her mother who was ailing.
Ma Kui later had a chance to confront Wang Yongge about not standing up for him.
Wang Yongge just behaved as if he does not know wat Ma Kui was talking about.
Meanwhile, Dali was really into Yao but she was into Ma Kui.
Episode 7
Ma Kui and Wang Xin found a baby under the seat on the train. Ma Kui was reluctant to send the baby straight to the orphanage as it would more complicated for the parents to claim the baby back. So Ma Kui was given a few days off to look after the baby hoping the parents will come back.
Sufang was very happy with the baby but Ma Yan was not as the crying baby interfered with her studeis.
After two weeks, it was certained the baby was abandoned so Ma Kui decided to bring the baby to the orphanage. Poor Sufang was so reluctant to part with the baby but she was told that they could not really look after the infant as she was not in the best of health and Ma Yan was studying and Ma Kui was now working full time.
Sufang cried and told Ma Yan that when here father was taken away by the police, she was 6 months pregnant. The stress resulted a miscarriage.
Ma Kui brought the baby to the orphanage. But he was leaving the baby cried.
I love this drama. The vingnette of stories were so human.
Episode 8
Ma Kui can’t bear to leave the baby but then Ma Yan turned up and took the baby home. Aww
Unfortunately for this family, more heartbreak is coming. Sufang went for a medical test and found out that she has a serious lung disease and was advised to be hospitalised immediately.
Sufang declined and begged Dr Shen not to tell Ma Kui as she does not want him to spend all their money and then she would die.
Dr Shen was in quandary but she has to abide with the patient’s wishes.
Episode 9
Wang Yong Ge warned Wang Xin that Yao is not a good girl and not one to marry.
Ma Kui confessed to his boss that he wanted to find another house for his wife as their house has leaky roof.
The boss promised to contact the party. With not much time, Ma Kui and his family were moved to the courtyard in a roomy house. They were welcome by the neighbourhood.
Bai Yu Xia had another boyfriend. Wang Xin commented that she seemed to have moved on so fast.
Episode 10
Wang Xin was shocked when they saw Bai Yu Xia not only had a new boyfriend but she had also kept Lu Xue Lin.
Ma Kui pragmatically said that it can be lonely being alone.
Meanwhile, Yao and Ma Yan were fighting over Wang xin.
Wang Xin was a bit depressed because his good deed turned into a mini-tragedy. He unknowingly returned a boy to a child trafficker.
Episode11
Wang Xin went on a movie date with Yao. She then confessed that she likes him. He has a crush on her so he told her that he likes it too.
Wang Xin wanted to keep their dating status low key but Yao made sure everyone knows especially Ma YUan who got really upset.
Later, she asked Wang Xin why he led her on when he was into someone else.
Wang Xin did not understand what she meant so she had to spell it out that he was always at her house so she assumed…
Wang Xin said that as her father was his mentor, then he had to go to her house.
Dali was absolutely gutted but Cao told him that he was a poor choice compared to Wang Xin.
Sufang collapsed and ended up taken to the hospital. Despite her worsening condition, she begged the doctors to keep her illness a secret from her family.
Episode 12
Wang Xin got into trouble at work so he was suspended.
Thinking that he will be fired, Yao dumped him.
Wang Xin was cleared eventually but he was transferred to a small station.
Episode 13
He was transferred to Hongyang.
It was not an auspicious start. Wang Xin was immediately conned by an old woman. He later found out that the old woman might be involved in child trafficking.
Episode 14
Wang Xin was so bored with his plaza patrol duty, he begged his chielf to allow him to compete in a shooting competition representing Hongyang Police Station.
His chief allowed him to go. He went back home to compete and won.
He thank his master, Ma Kui, especially which secretly elated Ma Kui.
Episode 15
Suyang was testing the water whether her husband would like Dr Shen to be a future partner when she is gone.
Dr Shen proved to be a good doctor and a kind woman but she was not after romance.
Episode 16
The one who who has romance in the brain is Ma Yan. Despite her parents forbidding her to go to Hongyang to see Wang Xin, she completely ignored them.
The last time she visited, she and Wang Xin got trapped in a bunker in the middle of the mountain when then got caught in the rain.
Ma Yan was not able to go home which worried her parents as they can’t contact Wang Xin over the phone.
Ma Kui came to Hongyang first thing in the morning. After ascertaining that nothing bad had happen to Mayan and Wang Xin, he started to scold Wang Xin but realised really that his daughter is the horny one who kept going to Wang Xin at every opportunity.
Well, Ma Yan did finally get a snog in the bunker from Wang Xin after telling him that he was so slow. She was offering herself on a plate🤣🤣🤣
Episode 17
It is a very sad episode. Sufang collapsed and then died.
Ma Kui and Ma Yan were absolutely heartbroken but life has to go on.
Episode 18
Ma Kui was assigned to investigate the traveling drug traffickers. Ma Kui took the job but asked for Wang Xin to be his assistant.
They were in pursuit of their suspect who tresspassed on a house in a village. There was a six months old baby in the premises which the suspect took as a hostage.
Wang Xin managed to get into the house while Ma Kui tried to distract the criminal. Wang Xin ended up shooting the suspect.
After the event, the first person Wang Xin called was Ma Yan but somehow he could not tell her what happened but just wanted to hear her voice.
Episode 19
Dr Shen had become a surrogate mother to young Ma Jian and to the Ma family. Ma Kui was rather purturbed about it but Ma Yan said that Dr Shen likes Ma Jian.
Anyway, Wang Xin was praised by the police force and was made a role model.
For a prize, he was given a television, which he gave to Ma Yan.
Ma Kui told her to return the television back but she told her father that she was keeping it and if he tries to break it, she will never forgive him.
Ma Kui warned Ma Yan not to get serious with Wang Xin as he will not allow a marriage between them.
Meanwhile, Wang Yongge also spoke to Wang Xin telling him that Ma Kui would not permit Wang Xin marrying Ma Yan. He said that it was better to look somewhere else.
The television was the only one in the courtyard so the neighbours gathered together and watch something on telly in the middle of the courtyard.
Cai Xiao Niu brought his new girlfriend with him which surprised everyone as no one had an inkling that he was dating.
The people liked Yan Hong, the girlfriend.
Dali noticed that Yao was not in the milieu so as a doting suitor, he bought her a tv from an underground source so when they tried to turn it on, it did not work.
Peng Ming Jie’s came to visit Ma Kui. He brought his daughter, Peng Yong Li or Lili with him. Ma Kui owed his life to Ming Jie during his time at the labour camp.
Mingjie carried a sick Ma kui on his back for 10 miles to take him to the hospital or else he would have died.
Anyway, Ma kui said that Lili should stay with them while she goes to the nearby universtiy.
I can feel that Lili will become a source of heartache for Ma Yan,🥹
A young couple died in a bus explosion, they were then resurrected ten minutes before the explosion.
Their existence became a loop restarting ten minutes before the explosion. They decided to find out the reason for the explosion and to make sure that the bus reaches its final destination.

6 August 2021: It is a wrap.
Episode 1
Wow! This first episode is so riveting. I wanted to watch more.
It started with an explosion of bus No 45.
Prior to the explosion, a girl passenger woke up from a vivid dream of the bus exploding.
The boy sitting next to her saw her looking rather agitated and sweating so he opened his backpack to get a tissue but he inadvertently elbowed her in the breast.
Immediately, the girl shouted that there was a pervert in the bus and demanded that she be let out of the bus.
The driver said that it was illegal to just halt the bus at an undesignated stop.
The girl though was going mental and would not take no for an answer so left really with no choice as the other passengers begged the driver to let out the unruly girl, he stopped.
Before the girl got out, she asked if anyone wanted to leave the bus with her. No one wanted to so she dragged the boy with her.
The other passengers were shouting, “why take the pervert with you?” as the bus door started closing.
The poor boy was absolutely clueless about what was happening and puzzled when the girl started smiling.
Anyway, they parted ways. she was no more than a few yards when she heard an explosion. She was standing on the edge of the pavement totally shocked. A motorcyclist sort of crashed into her leaving her prostrate on the ground.
When she woke up, she was in the hospital. She was totally confused but became more so when she saw the boy from the bus who was now badly burnt being wheeled into the emergency room.
Meanwhile, the police were investigating the explosion, whether it was a terrorist attack.
They sort of knew that there were ten people on the bus but they only found eigth bodies.
They got intel and a CCTV of two passengers getting out at an illegal stop.
The girl was Li Shi Qing.
Police officers came to interview her but she refused to talk until a more mature officer, Zhang Cheng, came to see her.
She asked him if he believes in a dream within a dream.
Zhang Cheng was intrigued and began to listen and record her statement.
He heard that she was in a dream within a dream, within a dream. It happened six times. In her fifth dream, she was able to clearly see what happened.
Bus 45 tried to avoid a purple cyclist but crashed instead into an oil tanker causing the explosion.
Zhang Cheng suddenly became more alert. He excused himself and asked the other police officer if they had mentioned the presence of the purple cyclist to Li Shi Qing. He asked that they investigate the staff at the hospital if they talked about it under Li Shi Qing’s hearing.
Li Shi Qing also told Zhang Cheng about the boy she left the bus with. He was severely burnt and in the same hospital.
Episode 2
This episode is Heyun’s loop.
Heyun saw and felt his own death which woke him up all hot and bothered inside the bus.
Li Shi Qing told him knowingly that he was in the loop.
At first, Heyun did not want anything to do with Li Shi Qing but he started to be in a dream loop as well and he began to believe.
Heyun and Li Shi Qing decided that getting out of the bus was not really an option as they both end up on the bus again.
So Li Shi Qing had the idea of making the bus faster or slower and avoiding a rider on a scooter and a tanker.
They were able to avert the explosion but before Li Shi Qing could really feel more comfortable, she heard a mobile phone ringing. Just like the one she heard before the explosion.
She and Heyun managed to get out but as soon as they did, Li Shi Qing called the police to report that there is a bomb on the 45 Bus.
Though the police sent some officers to intercept the bus, they were really more interested in their callers.
They became more focused on the caller.
I had to double-take when I saw Tamia Liu as Du Ju. She was looking like Cressida Dick, the highest-ranking police officer in the UK.
I am loving this drama.
Episode 3
A bomb residue was found on the burnt bus.
Du Ju decided that a time loop is too stupid to report officially, so she ordered to break Heyun as he was more emotional. She then charged Heyun and Li Shi Qing as prime suspects for the bus explosion.
Episode 4
Li Shi Qing is on her tenth loop.
At every loop, the time is going backward. During the tenth loop Shi Qing and Heyun managed to get off at the next stop.
Li Shi Qing called the police immediately to report the bomb on Bus 45.
Heyun went ballistic because he was still traumatised by how he was treated like a criminal during the previous loop by the police.
Li Shi Qing told him that he doesn’t have to go to the police station with her. She will not mention his name.
Anyway, the police managed to stop Bus 45 and Jiang Feng led the police inside the bus.
The passengers were being let out one by one. But an old man with a sack got agitated and refused help from anyone. The sack contained a conical object which exploded killing everyone including Jiang Feng.
Li Shi Qing was being interrogated when she received a call from Heyun.
Heyun told her that it was time to sleep.
Sleeping seemed to bring them back to the loop.
Episode 5
Heyun was so desperate to go back to sleep, he went to the pharmacy to get sleeping pills and then went to the opposite corner store to get whisky.
The police later found him almost asleep.
He started talking about the loop and that he was very regretful that they sent the police who then died in the explosion.
It was now Li Shi Qing loop 11. They suspected the guy at sitting at the back who was wearing mask and black cap who was protective of his backpack.
They tried to prise open the bag from him but the bag exploded.
it was now loop12, they save the guy a the backseat of the bus.
They found out that it was a cat that he was protecting.
Episode 6
The boy was Lu Di. Lu Cat Apostle Di. He was an asthmatic boy who loves cats. His parents absolutely forbade him to keep cats but he rented a little flat where he keeps a few rescued cats.
He took Heyun and Li Shi Qing to his secret place where he got to make them tell him about the loop. He believed them because he had read about it in his manga.
Episode 7
There was another incident of explosion.
This episode eliminates the baldy guy Ma Guo Xiang from the bombing. The sack with round objects were not bombs but melons he specially grew for his son, Xiao Long.
Ma Guo Xiang was an excon but two months before he was let out of prison, his wife told him that he must not come back home as he will ruin their son’s chance of a good and decent life.
So Ma Guo Xiang went to a farm where he became a labourer.
To eliminate him, Heyun and Shi Qin had to interrogate him subtly at first but they did not notice that Ma Guo Xiang did not want them to touch the rounded object in his sack.
Heyun and Shi Qin managed to tell the son that his father loved him dearly.
Episode 8
The next story is of Xiao Liu. He was a construction worker who was renting a garage as his place to stay.
The owner of the garage threw him out because the neighbourhood watch was on to people renting their garages and an inspection of garages was imminent.
He was on bus 45.
He was really kind and when he heard Shi Qin asking a lady passenger if she happened to have a sanitary napkin as her monthly visitor had come. This was of course so she could see the woman open her bag.
She was overheard by Xiao Liu who voluntarily opened his suitcase to give her a sanitary napkin for his daughter.
The bus ended up exploding with them on it.
Shi Qin woke up but it take ages for Heyun to wake, he said he had sleep paralysis.
Shi noticed that this time around the time did not go back.
Heyun and Shi Qin thought that perhaps the loop is broken and this was their last one.
As it were, they did their best and tried to take the heavy bag from a woman who was rather anti-social.
The woman was armed with a knife and stabbed Heyun who fell back so Shi Qin grabbed the bag but the woman grabbed her and stabbed her in the throat.
They woke up again. Shi Qin was inconsolable at first because her being stabbed in the throat was still fresh.
Heyun tried to convince her that they should get out at the next stop to get over the trauma but Shi Qin said that she would give it another try.
She tried again and the woman was about to stab her but Heyun grabbed the woman. It ended with him stabbing her to death.
They got out but the driver got to the bag and the bus exploded.
Episode 9
The police were after Heyun and Shi Qin not only for murder but the bomb explosion as well.
Poor Heyun was so traumatised of having killed someone. In hindsight, he said he would have rather been blown up than kill someone.
Shi Qin told him to calm down.
Heyun believes that he will not be able to clear his name because the loop had stopped.
Despite being very afraid, Heyun told Shi Qin to tell the police if they get caught that he was holding her hostage.
The police investigated Old Jiao and found it to be innocent but Tao Ying Hong, it was found out that there was a fire in her garage and the neighbours also heard an explosion. This trigged Zhang Cheng’s suspicion.
Heyun and Shi Qin ended up at Lu Di’s rented apartment. Heyun had a badly injured arm so Shi Qin had to go to the chemist to get bandages and disinfectant. So she does not get recognised, she dressed up in cosplay complete with blue wig which suited her so well.
By the way the OST of this drama is very affecting.
Episode 10
Heyun took Shi Qin to his friend’s house. The friend was so annoyed with him because the scandal involving Heyun had basically killed their new game.
Heyun and Shi Qin stayed by the seaside. They talked about getting the passengers off the bus.
It almost worked as well but the lady was determined to blow the bus.
So they looped again.
Heyun and Shi Qin who pretended to be police officers found helpers, Lu Di and Old Jiao.
They found out that Wang Xing De, the bus driver was in cahoot with the lady bomber.
Episode 11
Heyun and Shi Qin found out more about Wang Xing De and that he was in the process of divorcing his demented wife.
To gather more information, Heyun and Shi Qin went voluntarily to the police as witnesses. But the police found them suspicious as they seemed to know too much about the other passengers.
The policewoman at the station had the same ringtone Shi Qin heard on the bus just prior to the bomb exploding.
The ringtone spooked her which was noticed by Chief Du Ju. She said later that Shi Qin has survivor’s guilt.
Anyway, Heyun and Shi Qin found out from the police that the woman in grey, Tao Yinghong was a former chemistry teacher who found employment in a chemical factory. She was married to Wang Xing De, the bus driver.
Episode 12
Because of the excessive information they gave the police, the police started investigating Heyun and Shi Qin.
The police found out that Heyun and Shi Qin had been to Wang Xing De’s work as well as in his apartment.
The young policewoman. commented that perhaps it was Heyun and Shi Qin were the culprit but setting up Wang Xing De and Tao Yinghong for the crime.
Zhang Cheng was calm and told Ye Qian, the young policewoman, not to. jump into conclusion.
Everyone found out that Wang Xing De and Tao Yinghong had a daughter called Mengmeng who died from an accident at the bridge almost five years ago to the date.
Shi Qin asked Zhang Cheng if the bombing could happen again and if they send message the police reporting a bomb on board the bus, what would the police do? Would the police act on the message or treat it as a crank call?
Zhang Cheng took the question seriously. He said that the police will check up on the message seriously and if they found out later that it was just a prank, then the caller or messager will be severely punished for wasting police time but certainly, they would investigate the message seriously first.
Heyun then asked for Zhang Cheng’s number.
Heyun woke up with a bleeding nose. He told Shi Qin that the time loop has been creating havoc with his body and he was getting weaker and weaker each time.
Heyun quickly took a photo of Tao Yinghong, where she was sitting and sent it to Zhang Cheng. He said about the bomb and the driver was in on it.
Heyun immediately rallied the police. He message back to Heyun that they were on their way.
Heyun and Shi Qin created the same fuss to delay the bus but the driver did not stop at the next stop where the plain clothes policemen were waiting to board.
But in the end the police managed to stop the bus by the bridge and Zhang Cheng the bomb out but he became a casualty of it.
Episode 13
Apparently, Tao Yinghong and Wang Xing De started investigating the death of their daughter. But Tao Yinghong was rather overpowering in the investigations that often they ended up in trouble with the police.
Zhang Cheng was in a critical condition.
Du Ju was investigating why Mengmeng insisted to get off the bus.
Sadly Zhang Cheng died and Jiang Feng was having a hard time accepting it. He went to Heyun and Shi Qin to ask them why they knew there was a bomb inside the bus and why they also knew Zhang Cheng mobile number.
Shi Qin said that Zhang Cheng gave it to them himself. The other police came to get Jiang Feng from Heyun’s hospital room because he was borderline harassing a couple of witnesses.
The police was questioning Wang Xing De and Tao Ying Hong. The actors who played them are commendable. Good find actors. You feel for them, the emotion is so palpable.
They asked the police why did they not fully investigate the death of Mengmeng. That was all they wanted in the first place. They did not even accept a cent of compensation because all they want was the truth.
Episode 14
What really broke Mengmeng’s parents’ heart was not only her death but the nastiness of people who commented on the video of her actual accident saying that she deserves it because she was immoral.
Tao Ying Hong was a teacher. She found her students ogling the death video of her daughter during class.
Tao Yinghong started blaming Wang Xing De for not answering his phone. He was the one Mengmeng called before her accidental death and Tao Yinghong kept harping at him that he ignored his daughter. He could have saved her.
Tao Yinghong has totally lost the plot. She only quietened up when Wang Xing De said that they would move to Jialin. She then used a shed/garage as her workplace where she experimented on bomb making.
At last, they found a witness for Mengmeng’s issue and accident. According to Liu Yao, Mengmeng was being groped inside the bus.
Episode 15
Liu Yao saw what happened to Mengmeng. She accidentally videoed the pervert rubbing his private parts on the frightened Mengmeng.
Liu Yao wanted to go to the police with it but she was advised by her mother to remove herself from it. Liu Yao also saw that though Mengmeng was the dead victim, she still became a subject of online bullies.
As Heyun was spitting blood and really weak, he later told Shi Qing to leave the loop by herself.
Shi Qing asked if they wake up one day not knowing each other…
Heyun was very sure that he would never forget her. He said that he will go to her school and look for her. He will introduce himself to her and asked her to be his girlfriend.
Shi Qing said she will answere, ‘I will”
And then…

On their way to the police station, they had another loop.
Heyun was in a pretty bad way, Shi Qing could not wake him up so it was up to her to contact Zhang Cheng.
For a while, it looked like it would go wrong once again but this time, Shi Qing was able to show the parents the photo of the guy that molested Mengmeng.
Mengmeng did not just go crazy, she was trying to get away from a pervert who was trying to molest her.
This was really all Wang Xing De and Tao Yinghong wanted to find out.
Wang Xing De handed the bomb to Zhang Cheng who managed to through the kettle bomb into the water safely.
Happy Ending
Heyu woke up happy to be home and not inside the bus once again. The loop is over and he was alive. He immediately texted ShiQing who smiled and looked fresh and beautiful.

The ending is heartwarming but it somehow lack the adrenalin excitement of the whole drama.
By the way, what caused the reset?!!! So was it just a figment of their imagination?
Despite the fairly bland ending, it is still worthy of high recommendation.
