Quick Precis
An intern fell in love with the goings on inside the courthouse and persevere to become the best judge and finds love along the way. (as one does in dramas. LOL)
Episode 1
Qiao Nuo and Qiao Ya are identical twins. One day, out of the blue, the studious Qiao Ya called Qiao Nuo to her apartment and told her to impersonate her for a few days because she was going out of town for something important to her but she cannot disclose at the moment.
Anyway, Qiao Ya said that Qiao Nuo must look like her. She had given Qiao Nuo extensive lists of friends, school notes, and things that she must study and memorise because she will be taking the internship exam at Jia Nan Court House.
Qiao Nuo did not have much choice because she can she twin was really looking stressed and near breaking point.
Qiao Nuo studied hard, cut her hair short, a bob with a fringe just like Qiao Ya’s.
It was the day of the examination, she took the first part and then she went for a walk during the break; she bumped into someone where she ended up on the ground. She collected herself and hurried back to school but she noticed that someone was chasing after her. She instinctively knew that it was a policeman. Her guilty instic took over and she ran and evaded the police. She was still running when she almost bumped into her mentor, who told her to hurry as the exam was about to start.
She quickly filled up her test paper and told her mentor that she was finished, submitted her paper and left the room.
The young policeman was waiting for her.
She was ready to confess about swapping with her twin when he was asking about powder and weight and wanted to see her bag.
She took him to her locker and sure enough, there was a package of drugs in her bag. Of course, she had to deny knowing how it got to her bag because she did not know how it got into her bag.
She was taken to the police station, but luckily the curprit, the man who she bumped into was arrested and readily confessed.
Qiao Nuo was allowed to go home. Outside the station the young policeman, Li Xu Yao, was waiting for her. He apologised and told her see her later.
But she said, she hoped not.
She was so surprised when she found out that she passed the internship exam. The day of the internship was just within couple of days.
Qiao Ya was nowhere to be found. Her mother was rather worried that she cannot contact her other daughter.
Anyway, Qiao Nuo found out from LuLu, her schoolmate and also interning at Jia Nan Court House, that Qiao Ya has a boyfriend.
Thinking that Qiao Nuo was Qiao Ya, Lulu told her to dump her boyfriend because he is in trouble.
Again Qiao Nuo was forced to continue impersonating Qiao Ya as she knew her sister had always dreamt of becoming a judge one day. So she started at the court house. She was assigned as an intern to Judge Yang where she will be also working with Lawyer Zhao Peng, who liked her at first sight.
Their first case was about a man, who looked so meek at first but turned out to be a violent thug.
Loving this drama already. You could always rely on Janice Wu to pick interesting roles. Erik Yang has become a firm favourite after seeing him in Nothing But Thirty.
BTW, I would like to thank Productive Procrastination for subbing the first two episodes of this drama. I hope they continue to finish the rest.
Episode 2
Qiao Nuo has a very quick observational skill, which she uses to investigate that not so simple case fo the meek farmer who killed a woman who turned out to be his sister-in-law.
A whole can of worms is coming out.
Qia Nuo is cooperating with Xu Yao to investigate this complicated case. They both ended up going to the remote village of the man.
