Episode 1
It has a cute start.
It was the beginning of a new term at the Celestial Authority Academy.
Song Lian Yu was specially invited to attend the academy by empress because Song Lian Yu’s novels are so popular that they were selling like hotcakes.
Her father forbids her to accept the invitation for obvious reasons, she is a girl and the academy is for boys only and if she gets found out she will literally lose her head.
Song Lian Yu however had made up her mind. She will be learning as a man as she had been living as a man anyway.
So she ran away and went to the academy where she gets into immediate trouble with the F4: Chu Yi, Xi Run, Jia Gu, and Shao Xuan.
To get out of sharing dormitories with other boys, she had a quick word with their dorm master and told him about her problem. She/he has an extreme case of BO (body odour) and she does not want to impose with to others.
So she has her own room but it was not as simple as that because the F4 decided to punish her by threatening to strip her.
Episode 2
Three of the F4 bullied Lian Yu so she leaves the academy but she bore it but did not let them get away so easily.
Episode 3
Brother Gao topped the exam. Lian Yu got the second place. She only got the second place because merits were deducted from her grades.
This somehow upset Brother Gao.
Cu Chu Yi got the last spot. Lian Yu did not let him get away with it, she called him a useless vase and everyone laughed.
A couple of very influential bullies at the academy got poisoned from eating the soup meant for Lian Yu.
The student cook was blamed for it and was expelled from the school.
Episode 4
Lian Yu with her friend said that they will get into the bottom of the poisoning because they believed that Fan Xiao Yu is innocent.
Lian Yu was surprised to find that Cui Chu Yi was also on the case. She offered to work with him but he turned her down.
Meanwhile, it was the holiday break. Most of the students went home including Lian Yu, who made up with her father.
At the Duan residence, Duan Shao Xuan promptly fell in love with the younger sister of Her Highness.
The girl was Su Yao Hua from the Su Family. Apparently, she was already engaged. She had a childhood betrothal with Cui Chu Yi.
Cui Chu Y dismissed this a joke between their parents.
Episode 5
When Lian Yu went back to Celestial Authority College, both Lan Zi and Fang Yi Qing travelled with her because they were both bound for the opposite college for girls called Hui Xin Academy.
Lian Yu was worried for Lan Zi, who had been hired as a dance teacher, so she sneaked a look from the rooftop of Hui Xin Academy.
Chu Yi saw her and was intrigued by what she was up to so he had a look as well.
They started arguing and fell into the college ground.
They both got arrested put in the dungeon prison.
Episode 6
Madam Sun was refusing to release Lian Yu and Chu Yi.
Apparently, Madam Sun used to date Master Gong of Celestial Authority College when they were in their teens. She waited for him for a long time and wasted her youth just wishing for his return.
She was just about to give up but he turned up at Celestial Authority College almost at the same time that she was starting the Hui Xin Academy.
Episode 7
It was Lian Yu’s birthday and the F4 gave her a birthday party that involved a lot of drinking.
The next morning they were non-show in class because they were all suffering from hangovers.
Lian Yu woke up in bed with Chu Yi. They immediately started arguing.
It immediately trended that they were having a gay affair. 🙂
Episode 8
Chu Yi found out that Lian Yu was a girl and offered to marry her.
She told him he’s crazy.
Someone kidnapped Lian Yu and left her unconscious in a raft in the middle of a river.
Another person, cut the rope that tethering the raft.
Lian Yu was rescued.
Episode 9
It was the musical examination for the Celestial academy. The boys took their exam at the girls’s college.
Lian Yu was a hit with the girls.
Poor Rui Xi, someone tampered with his win. He was so humiliated he left the academy. He refused to return despite Lian Yu and Chu Yi’s trying to persuade him.
Episode 10
It was Hua Sheng who tampered with Rui Xi’s win. He was instigated by Gao Xue Qing.
Chu Yi’s friends were beginning to think he was gay the way he was always ending up hugging Lian Yu.
It was school holiday. Lian Yu was wearing a girl’s hanfu when Chu Yi unexpectedly came to visit.
Chuyi was excited to see Lian Yu looking so girly.
