What is Chrimatophobia?

There are days in the month when I suffer from Chrimatophobia.

But what is chrimatophobia, I hear you ask!!!

Well, apparently it is an aversion of anything to do with personal or even business finance. The root words are both Greek in origin. Chrima means finance and phobia is fear.

Anyway, when I come back from work and see my bank and credit card statements which have been posted through the letterbox, I go to great lengths to ignore them. Hide them under flower pots or under the stair carpets. I only open them when I am in a happy frame of mind or if I have to have to. Bad habit!!!
