Maria Miller – Queen Bee OF THE TORY PARTY ?

Maria Miller

OR THE BLACK WIDOW SPIDER?!!!

With the previous much publishised scandals of MPs’ overclaiming expenses and allowances, these seem to not go away! MPs are still trying it on as the case of Maria Miller.

As apologies go, Maria Miller’s was prefuntory and did not show sign of contrition and she was apologising to the wrong body.  She should apologise to the people, to the taxpayer, whose money Maria Miller has been profligate with.

Maria Miller chosed to be uncooperative with the investigating committee that a year was spent sorting things out and half a Brazilian rainforest used for note taking and documentation.  How much was spent on this investigation?

Maria Miller proved to be popular amongst the Tory Party; she was bodyguarded by her admirers, watch the video below.  Even Dave Cameron ordered to leave Maria alone.  Tory looks after their own! Says it all!!!

Anyone at government service, lower down, would have lost their jobs! tsk tsk tsk

Oh s**t I actually voted for Tory during the last election! LOL

EDSA Tayo A Success

EDSA Tayo A Success

Apparently EDSA Tayo was very successful. It was not a political rally as such but more of a prayer vigil.

Around a thousand people tried to fit themselves in inside the Church (Mary Queen of Peace Shrine) which has a capacity of 700. Another 4,000 camped outside.

The thing that concerns me about this was that it was trying to separate itself from a political rally. It seems that this vigil is ready to forgive and forget. This is well and good for the people who are employed and belong to the middle classes, which most those who attended were. What about the people who do not have anything to live on? They cannot afford to forgive and forget?

For me, there is a grave need to have all those who knowingly and voraciously participated on the criminal act of indulging themselves with monies meant for the country and its people.  I would go so far to say that everyone who knew what was going on is equally as accountable.

There is something about this in the Bible.

It is okey to pray for guidance to the Lord but ultimately, we the people have to do what is necessary.  God gave us brains and brawns and laws to live by.  We should use these.  Religiousity has its place and politics has its own!

So people, pray as much as you like but at the same time demand from the Government what is right and what is needed to be done.  Demand that there is no more procrastination.  Do not hide criminals under loopholes in the law.  Criminals go to jail and take the monies they’ve “stolen”.  If they can use the constitution of the land to their advantage, it is time to use it to their disadvantage.  It is as simple as that.

A crime is a crime no matter how much it is wrapped in the best linen.  Just like a fart is a fart, silent or otherwise!

Ag-riing kayo

Wake up.

Gising Na

Living Breathing Corruption In the Philippines

Living Breathing Corruption In the Philippines

A very long time ago I worked in a Chinese-owned Manila firm. It was a willing favorite milking cow of crooked cops and crooked government inspectors. I once talked with one such crooked inspector about corruption – yes, corruption was there, has been there, since forever.

He was apologetic, perhaps hypocritically, about his own corruption. His excuse was that he had to “go with the flow.”

“What would be your solution to erase corruption?” I asked.

“Shoot everybody in government and let the so-called do-gooders take over.”

“That would mean shooting you, too.”

“That’s true. But catch me first. Can you? Can anyone?”

That, in essence, is a microcosm of the sad state of Philippine affairs.

Magnetite Mining in Buguey, Cagayan

I have just been watching youtube videos of magnetite mining in Buguey and Aparri, Cagayan I can’t believe how the town officials who should protect the people and the environment couldn’t really care less. They hide behind corrupt bureaucracy.

People from the Philippines –

Time to wake up from your stupor. Time to rally the Government to act now before it is too late. We do not want flood like that of Thailand’s to happen in the Cagayan/Philippines. We do not want the tsunami like in Japan.

PEOPLE GO AND SPEAK TO YOUR COUNCILLORS, MAYORS, GOVERNORS, CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN. DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!!!
