Episode 1

Kim Ah Young is an orphan who struggles to look after herself, much else her 8-year-old sister.

At 23, Ah Young had been the mother and father to her eight-year-old sister for 7 years.

They were being chucked out by their landlord with only the weekend to find a new home and move out.

Her sister, though sympathetic of her older sister’s predicament is not mature enough to fully understand their real situation.  She is just a child after all.

While Ah Young was at work, DanBi plastered herself by the window of a restaurant watching diners tucked into their food. She was particularly fascinated with a father treating his daughter out.

One of the diners complained to the owner about Danbi.

The restauranteur went to tell Danbi off for upsetting his customer when a sharp-suited handsome guy said that he was Danbi’s guardian.

When Danbi got home, she asked Ah Young if she wanted to have a dad.

Not thinking much of it, Ah Young said she doesn’t mind.

At work the following day, Ah Young was confronted by Sul Yoo Sang and his Secretary about her adoption.

Episode 2

Little Danbi initially wrote the contract herself about the legal adoption.  She then rather belatedly said that she has an older sister.

This rather perturbed Sul Yoo Sang but when he saw Ah Young he gave a brief smile.

Why does Sul Yoo Sang need to adopt?

Sul Yoo Sang is a chaebol but with the wrong gender.

His grandmother/chairman of the company passed away.  As a tradition of their family, the company is passed to the female line.

As Sul Yoo Sang is unmarried and had no daughter or even a son, the company will be given to the nearest relative with a daughter.

But as the will did not say the daughter must be a biological offspring, Sul Yoo Sang will adopt a girl, who was supposed to be Kim Dan Bi, who said she has an older sister.

At first Ah Young was not buying it because, at 28, Sul Yoo Sang was only 5 years older than her.

He then said that their contract will only last for a month. In the meantime, she and Danbi will have a house to stay at.

Episode 3

Ah Young and Danbi moved in with Sul Yoo Sang.

Sul Yoo Sang and Ah Young had problems getting along at first but when Danbi was away in camp and they were left alone, they tried to iron out their differences.

What they found out was that they were both shit-scared of bugs.  When a moth came into the house, they decided to work together to kill the moth.  They ended up falling into the bed with Sul Yoo Sang looking down at a surprised Ah Young, who after a while tried to get away.

The next day, Sul Yoo Sang’s uncle came to the house and saw Ah Young.

Sul Yoo Sang introduced her as his housekeeper.

Episode 4

Ah Young finally realised that she was falling for her new ‘dad’, Sul Yoo Sang.

Episode 5

Sul Yoo Sang, Ah Young and Dan Bi were photographed together and become the subject of gossip.

Ah Young got so distressed about the gossips and was going to move out helped by her childhood sweetheart, Yoon Joo Hoo, when Sul Yoo Sang arrived.

Joo Hoo told Sul Yoo Sang that Ah Young does not want to talk with him.

Episode 6

Sul Yoo Sang told Ah Young that he does not want her to be his daughter but the woman that he adores.

Ahhh

They separated for a month so he could sort out his business first.

Then he was able to put his conniving uncle in prison and went back to Ah Young to ask her to be the woman to stay with him for a lifetime. Ohhhh Sweet.
