Episode 1
I found this first episode a tad on the tedious side because it was rather fragmented I thought. And it is too experimental for my liking. Hyeri was just too zany to take in but I have to admit that it got better towards the end and I am so looking forward to the next episode.
What happened in this episode I hear you ask!!!
It started in 2015..
Joo Eun Ho and Jung Hyeon O were lovers. They are cohabiting and had a rather boisterous life together but they constantly protested their love for each other. They dated for eight years until they broke up when Eun Ho realised that they don’t have the same relationship destination which was marriage.
Hyeon O was very categorical in his declaration that he will never get married.
Years on, they both work in the same television network, presenting news. Eun Ho does the morning shift while Hyeon O can choose and pick any time as he became famous and powerful in the station.
Team Leader Kim Sin Jung was partial towards Eun Ho and tried to give her a more popular timeslot. Eun Ho declined the job but she was later convinced by the team leader that he was doing her a favour. As she can’t really turn down the offer, she finally agreed but had to work with Hyeon O as the co-presenter. During the broadcast, she got annoyed with Hyeon O because he said her lines. After the show, she showed her annoyance towards him but he told her that she should rather be grateful. She found out that he actually protected her modesty because her skirt broke at the seems.
Anyway, she was not really grateful because she detested him.
There was a younger guy at the station who wanted to go out with her. He was Moon Ji On who kept asking to date her. Finally she said yes and agreed to go out that weekend.
Hyeon O heard their talk. He made sure that Eun Ho was sent on a weekend news gathering about pollution at the seaside. Not wanting to cancel their date, Moon Ji On tagged along. They were supposed to stay overnight but Hyeon O ordered the producer to wrap the shop on the same day.
Being with Moon Ji On, Eun Ho realised that perhaps she could be with him. They were kissing…
But the next scene was that Eun Ho was now living as Hyeri and working as a park attendant in a tv station. She was seeing a psychiatrist for her memory lost and vivid and realistic dreams.
Hyeri works with Kim Min Young who had become her confidant. Min Young knew of Hyeri’s one sided love for a newscaster. He was a former military guy who looks really handsome. He was Kang Ju Yeon.
Hyeri told Min Young that she will be bold in pursuing her love for Kang Ju Yeon. Min Young was not really sure about it as Hyeri looks rather strange with her face covered by her very long fringe like in Japanese horror.
But Hyeri got her wish when a group of militant of people came to the station to demand a redress. A woman with a pick axe saw Kang Ju Yeon was going for him.
That moment, Hyeri appeared and run off with Kang Ju Yeon. She took him to the basement to hide but the woman followed, Kang Ju Yeon covered Hyeri’s mouth so she does not make any sound.
The security guards finally apprehended the woman.
Kang Ju Yeon was grateful to Hyeri who took her chance and kissed the surprised kang Ju Yeon. He was really shocked to move or say anything so Hyeri kissed him again. Then she happily skipped away having accomplished her mission.
She was still floating on air when she reached home but then waiting for her was Jung Hyeon O who was surprised at how she looked. When she told him that she does not know him, Hyeon O thought that she was punishing him for not having seen her for the last two months.
Yeah, I would like to find out what happens next.
Episode 2
Jung Hyeon O asked why Eun Ho was walking and behaving strangely. Hyeri said that she was not Eun Ho. As Jung Hyeon O was not getting any sense from the rather shocked looking Eun Ho, he left her alone.
Hyeri went back to her therapist and said that her dreams seemed to be happening for real. She mentioned that she was told she was Joo Eun Ho.
The therapist said that she is indeed Joo Eun Ho and Hyeri too. Eun Ho is suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder.
Because of the stress of finding out despite wanting to move on from Jung Hyeon O when she kissed Moon Ji On, she just can’t. The memory of Jung Hyeon O was too entrenched within her.
So she had an attack of DID. From 4:am she was Joo Eun Ho, the capable newscaster. From 4pm, she turned into the diffident Hyeri who works as a parking attendant.
Meanwhile, Kang Ju Yeon confronted Hyeri about the kiss. He was way too shocked about it. He asked Hyeri why she did it. Hyeri realised that Kang Ju Yeon was so bothered because it was his first kiss.
Despite wanting to throttle her, Kang Ju Yeon invited her to his house where he became for intrigued about her as she was spouting things that he wanted to hear. He was interested.
Hyeri ended up using his bed while he slept on the settee. When Hyeri woke up in the early hours of the morning, she was back to being Eun Ho. She was stupefied to be in an alien place. She spotted Kang Ju Yeon’s network ID while she gathered her belongings. She went straight to her work but she was all confused. She tried to find out about kang Ju Yeon.
Jung Hyeon O ordered the producer to give the frozen fish broadcast to Eun Ho. His team grudgingly obliged and took Eun Ho to the pier where she had to go inside a frozen freezer inside a delivery truck.
Eun Ho got the shock of her life when she found a frozen human body. She ended up locked in the freezer. When she called the team, no one anwered.
She remembered being told to keep every thing quiet so she was not sure if she had to call the police.
She was rescued though and then Jung Hyeon O himself turned up.
