Went for a lobster dinner at Dimsun in Golders Green last Thursday with Peter. We enjoyed it very much. The food was excellent.

It comprises of a selection of seafood dimsum, followed by an enormous lobsters cooked in delicioius noodles, after that we also had the most delicious garlicky fried rice with sautee’d packchoy and lamb in black bean sauce. We were ready to go after these but was told that our meal also include a dessert of coconut jelly, which was to die for. And the price was only for £38.00 for two people. Extremely good value for money.

The waiting staff were so good, friendly and helpful.

Dimsun restaurant in Golders Greeen is officially our favourite eatery. We go there once a week. Yesterday we ordered the Crab Meal, which was absolutely fantastic. The sweet and sour prawns are fabulous. Again I opted for the Coconut pudding for dessert while Peter had the Mango pudding. Both desserts are to die for. The price is so reasonable.

I wonder why the restaurant is not as popular as the Korean restaurant nearby. We went there a few weeks ago and we had a fairly good meal but so expensive. And they forgot to give us the rice dish. And we had to ask for the dessert which should have been included with our set meal. The service was so -so, probably because the place was full.
