Pomegranate is believed to have its origin in Iran to Northern India. It has a rich history. It is one of the oldest known fruits to man. It may even be what Eve tempted Adam with and not an apple, as widely believed.
The succulent seeds and juice of pomegranate contain a high level of antioxidant called polyphenols, which protects against many diseases connected to ageing such as heart disease and the health of the blood vessels.
