Episode 1

This is an S+ drama. The production is meticulous.

Anyway, it started with Cui Xing Zhou’s barracks being attack.  Cui Xing Zhou just sat in the middle of the room watching the fighting.  He then got up after his soldiers overpowered the invaders.  But then an arrow came flying in going straight for his throat but then he was such an experienced general, he managed to catch the arrow.  The assassin was wearing a mask that looked like Groot.  She got away; she then removed her Groot mask and she was Liu Mian Tang.

The next scene was that a beautiful ladylike Liu Mian Tang had travelled to Cui Mansion.  She became an object of gossip immediately because of her stunning appearance.

Liu Mian Tang could not remember her past except three years ago she was on her way to her wedding.

Nanny Li made her believedd that she did go through the wedding smoothly.  She married Cui Jiu who was absolutely devoted to her.

Because of blockaged on her brain, she had amnesia.  Realising that she needed peace and quiet and stability, Cui Jiu sold his business to settle in the rural Lingquan Town.

What really happened was that Cui Xing Zhou rescued her when she was attacked.  She was the beloved concubine of Lu Wen, a bandit leader.

Cui Xing Zhou did not only rescue her but he had her treated by prominent physician.  When she came to from her coma, she called Cui Xing Zhou, honey, an endearment for husband.

Cui Xing Zhou was shocked at first but he indulged her and let her think that he was really her husband.

Anyway, at Lingquan Town, everyone seemed to be spying on her including her old lady’s maid Tan.  Tan was ordered by Cui Xing Zhou to feed Mian Tang information that she was really married to Cui Xing Zhou who is now called Cui Jiu.

Cui Jui found that Mian Tang was a very resourceful woman, kind and quiet.  She even started a business in town to help her husband.
