Plot Summary
This drama is an emotional rollercoater.
They love each other so much and yet they forgot to tell one another about it.
So their married life was one big misunderstanding after another.
He thought she was in love with another guy and she thought he was in love with Nanxi, his white moonlight who to be fair was always at his side.
Yu Sen and Cuishi ended up divorced.
After the divorce, Cuishi found out that she was pregnant. Yu Sen found out about it and categoricallly ordered her to abort.
She lost her baby and blamed him wrongly because in the end she found out that he wanted her not to have a baby not because he does not like children with her but for the reason that he his mother-in-law confided that Cuishi had an inherited condition that meant a pregnancy could cost her her life. This condition was the cause of Mother-in-law’s early passing.
Cuishi never knew about this and Yusen stupidly never told her about it as it might upset her that she can’t give him children and blame herself for it.
In the end, they learned that they’ve always love each other but it was just too late. Cuishi refused to reconcile with Yu Sen despite him begging her piteously.
To get away, she went abroad. Meanwhile Yu Sen sold off his properties and donated the proceeds in memory of their lost child.
