Episode 1
This drama started during the 2017 MMF festival where a new boyband, Shax was about to go on stage but their lead singer had just vanished into thin air.
Their manager had to beg Ryok to go on stage to be the lead singer and perform as if his life depends on it, actually, the manager said that the life of the band depends on him.
Annie was yet to debut after having trained for the last 6 years. However, at the age of 23, she is now deemed too old to debut and was replaced immediately by a new girl, Ma Ha.
As the festival concert was about to start, the police found a body of a girl who jumped from the bridge over the Han River.
She was Annie of the Omega group.
Immediately, the new Omega group who was about to debut was pulled out from the festival. The three girls were heartbroken over Annie and their halted idol career.
Three years later.
Ryok had successfully branched out into acting and had just won the newcomer’s award.
Meanwhile, Ma Ha was still trying to get into singing and to subsidize her living, she had become an impersonator of a top singer La Ri Ma.
Anyway, her hapless manager tries to get her any work going and the latest one was a cameo in a historical drama starring Ryok.
The shooting went well buy it ended rather confusing for Ma Ha as her manager and done a runner after being hounded by his creditors.
I really enjoyed this drama. It shows the dark side of becoming an idol. The pressure, the practise that you have to go through without certainty of success behind it.
Episode 2
Yeah I am loving this drama.
Gave up being an idol but got back immediately with a new manager and new band name as Tea Party.
Episode 3
Mahe was invited to the Idol On Air tv show as secretly requested by Larima who was planning to humiliate her as he third-rate copycat.
But Ryok helped Maha out.
This episode also explains the power of rabid fans. Just because their idol was perceived to be in an unproven relationship, the fans demand explanation otherwise they would boycott their idol.
Episode 4
Tea Party debuted, just.
The lead in Ryok movie was caught in a controversy. She needed to be replaced.
They wanted Larima but she turned it down even for Ryok because she was not an actress.
So someone suggested Mahe as she had experience in acting.
Mahe played the king’s consort but fell in love the renegade warrior played by Ryok.
They had to kiss but Mahe had such a painful look on her face every time they tried to shoot a take.
Episode 5
Ryok was crushing on Mahe.
