Episode 1
I watched the first episode on Youtube. It is multi subbed but I have to admit, it is almost incomprehensible.
But what I can gather is that Yao Wei was pretty high up in the company she works for. She was a bit of a workaholic and expected everyone to work as hard as she did.
There is a young woman who works under her who was supposed to come to work early to have a contract signed worth millions. But the woman, Liu Xiao Xi came in late because her little baby had to be taken to the hospital for emergency care as he had swallowed a button.
The CEO told Yao Wei to fire Xiao Xi but Yao Wei had calmed down enough to ask CEO Ding to give Xiaoxi another chance.
Yao Wei is secretly married to Cheng Liang who also works as a director in the company. They were keeping their relationship so secret but then Cheng Liang said that they are recruiting someone in his unit.
And that someone is Tao Ruoyan, who was Yao Wei’s friend in college and had a massive crush on Cheng Liang who was their schoolmate.
Cheng Liang went for Yao Wei.
Ruoyan is the least of her worries. A very accomplished woman had appeared on her horizon. She was An Xin.
