Summary
I have to say that his drama is rather boring at times. Too much talking but somehow, you become an unwilling captive audience and finish it to the last.
Li Sheng Nan is so pretty and elegant while Yin Yi Bo is gorgeous in a dartardly way.
Jiang Zian is a very determined businessman who would resort to anything including seducing the pure and elegant Mu Wan Wan to become his wife in his bid to climb the ladder of success.
He then cossetted her at first but kept their marriage hidden. He told her that they must prepare for having a baby so he made her come to his office as a non-working admin so he could keep her safe and close by 24/7.
Mu Wan Wan swan around in the office but she became a trending topic for gossip. They thought she was after the eligible bachelor boss, Jiang Zian. With her lowly background, they reckoned that she was unsuitable for the boss.
Wan Wan became the target of Miss Hu, from the Hu Family, who came to work at Jiang Zian’s company to be closed to him and build a closer relationship.
Miss Hu, unaware that Wan Wan was married to Jiang Zian, took her to wine and dine clients. Miss Hu drugged glass of wine which she insisted Wan Wan drink. A frisky Mr Li wanted to jump Wan Wan but Wan Wan could look after herself.
But not for long as the men at the dinner party started ganging on against her.
Wan Wan did manage to call Jiang Zian but told her to just do as what Miss Hu dictates.
Wan Wan was being harassed and beaten up. It stopped when she admitted that she was Jiang Zian’s wife.
Miss Hu was shocked but not for long as she refused to believe it and brought in her own mother🤣 who miraculously was waiting behind closed doors.
Mrs Hu said that Wan Wan is a liar and Jiang Zian was more or less bethroted to her daughter Miss Hu.
So the attack to Wan Wan continued and became more ferocious. Mr Lin pushed Wan Wan to the couch and started to undress her.
The door opened and Jiang Zian was there to the rescue.
But then he brought in a hoard of paparazzi and announced that his wife, Wan Wan was raped in connivance with all the people present.
By this time, Wan Wan realised that Jiang Zian set everything up himself. He wanted to make sure that the members of the upper echelon of the businessworld (Jiangsheng World) would be implicated in the rape of his wife. He can then lord over them by using her abuse.
Wan Wan miraculously produce out of thin air 🤣, the pouch that was given to her by her Grandpa, Mr Dong. The pouch contained an already signed divorce paper.
It looked like Mr Dong never trusted Jiang Zian so he made sure he signed a divorce paper even before Jiang Zian’s wedding to Wan Wan.
So there and there Wan Wan was divorced from Jiang Zian after a cooling off period of 30 days.
Wan Wan went back home to Mr Dong.
Mr Dong told her that he will transfer the Dong empire to her to manage.
Jiang Zian was not finished with Wan Wan. He made every effort to have her killed.
But crime does not pay.
In the end, Jiang Zian was finally arrested for the last time after he was found out trying to kidnap and kill Mr Dong.
Jiang Zian will spend his life in prison while Wan Wan will manage the Dong Empire and make it bigger and even better.
