Episode 1 – 2
Ding-Ding was half-naked in front of Ning Wei Jin. He was examining her breast and had told her that she needed surgery, the sooner the better.
Apparently, she had something called mammary fibrosis.
Dr Ning told her that it would be a simple procedure.
Ding Ding was rather adamant about having surgery at first because of her busy job.
Dr Ning had strongly advised her to undergo the surgery asap.
Ding Ding grudgingly agreed. She works in her boyfriend, Chen Xun, an internet company, which is already hectic and frenetic. As soon as she got back to the office from the hospital, her expertise was required immediately.
She received a call from the absent Chen Xun, who told gave her different instruction for the imminent second anniversary of the company.
Chen Xun said that he will have an important announcement during the celebration.
Her colleague had jumped into the conclusion that he was going to propose to her.
Chen Xun had been her boyfriend for the past few years. She supported him and even slaved for him in everything.
The proposal assumption had spread like wild fire among the rest of her co-workers and they congratulated her.
Yu Shen had taken her shopping for a party dress as well as a wedding dress.
Though Ding Ding was rather askance at buying a wedding dress at first, she agreed as she was smitten with the romance of it.
Dr Ning had taken into reminding her of her surgery appointment and they seemed to bump into each other all the time.
Anyway, during the anniversary, Ding Ding was rather excited to see her boyfriend so she went in the elevator to get him.
She got a surprise when she saw him rather familiar with his ex-girlfriend who previously dumped him and she had to pick up the pieces for him.
Ding Ding did not bother to get out of the elevator and went back to the party.
Chun Xun found her and promised her that what he had with Wen ZiXin was purely business.
Ding Ding told him that she trusted him.
He went to the podium and made his important announcement. Everyone was waiting for him to propose, Ding Ding was excited.
But what he said was that Wen Zixin had not become a part of the compnay as the brand ambassador.
Ding Ding finally realised that she can never be Wen ZiXin in Chen Xun’s life.
But still she gave him another chance. She called him on his mobile phone.
Chen Xun declined a video call because he said he was too tired and was going to sleep.
What he did not know was that Ding Ding was hiding in the bushes and can see him with Wen ZiXin in tow.
The next day, Ding Ding gave her resignation and asked Chen Zun to break up.
Chen Xun was shocked about the break up but told Ding Ding that perhaps she was tired and needed time to rest and collect herself.
He tried to hug her but Ding Ding evaded him.
Ding Ding went to the hospital for her operation. She was all alone waiting for her slot.
Yu Sheng went to see Chen Xun and told him that Ding Ding was at that moment in the hospital for a surgery and she was all alone.
Chen Xun wanted to go but he has a prior appointment and Wen Zixin was forcing him to go as it was a crucial meeting with an investor.
Ding Ding was half expecting Chen Xun to turn up but he did not, instead, she got a text from him saying that he had sent Yu Sheng in his behalf.
The operation went well. She was home before long.
Dr Ning had gone over his duty as a surgeon. He asked his nurse to telephone Ding Ding to find out how she was feeling.
Apparently Dr Ning and Ding Ding have a history.
They might have met briefly when Dr Ning as a boy during his mother’s funeral. He ran away from the grave site and would have been run over if a girl did not pull him out off the traffick. She then shared her umbrella with him.
Ding Ding was at home when Chen Xun appeared straight from the airport. Ding Ding told him that they were over because she knew how much she meant to him. After the meeting with the investor, he could have flown back the next day to see how she was but it took him several days to remember her.
Chen Xun told her to calm down and left her.
Episode 6
Xiaofeng surprised Ding Ding with a break-up cake. He told her that to get over fast Chen Xun, she had to properly acknowlege and celebrate her break-up.
Ding Ding reluctantly agreed. They celebrated and started to enjoy herself. They ended up drinking in a club where Dr Ning with Gao Ren was also drinking.
Dr Ning ended up taking Ding Ding home as Xiaofeng was dead drunk. He stayed the night to look after Ding Ding who threw up all over him.
The next morning, she was confused of the presence of Dr Ning, who was so attentive and even made her breakfast of French toast.
Ding Ding got a call from her mother, who overheard Dr Ning in the background.
To get herself out of another blind date and of her mother’s lecture of allowing a man to stay over, she told her mom that she was already dating Dr Ning.
Episode 7
Ding Ding ended having a fake relationship with Dr Ding, who was taking his role rather seriously. So cute.
Went in business with Ning Wei Xuan in the later’s cat cafeteria.
Episode 8
It was the opening day for the cat cafe.
Chen Xun sent bouquets of flowers to the opening delivered by his assistant who insisted to see his boss’ girlfriend.
Dr Ning said that his boss is deluded becasue Ding Ding is now his girlfriend.
There was a confrontation which ended with Dr Ning getting hit in the face.
Ding Ding heard the commotion and was put in the spot to confirm that she was indeed now Dr Ning’s girlfriend. Dr Ning took her in his arms, so everyone believed.
Dr Ning met Ding Ding parents’ again as Ding Ding boyfriend. He was quite happy to play the fake boyfriend. But Ding Ding was quite relieved when their pretence was over after her parents had left.
Dr Ning was a bit hurt so he asked Ding Ding when they are going to end the farce.
