Venuses of the World: Vampish & Sexy

There are women who ooze sexiness in every way.

Some of these women are not the conventional drop dead gorgeous maiden but they are alluring and sensual. They have got that “it” that comes out from every pore.

Probably it is how they sway their hips as they walk.  Apparently Marilyn Monroe used to shave at least half an inch off one of her heels to give her extra bounce to perfect her famous wiggle.

It could be the way they look at you alluringly with their bedroom eyes, or the way they twirl their lovely locks of fine hair as they smile at you in a sultry way.

It could also be their voluptuous, nubile bodies, or luscious lips.

It could be their engaging smile or contagious laughter.

But most of all it could be their stimulating, exciting, hot mind.

Blue Diamond Found

Blue diamond

Wow, some lucky woman will have her digit and neckline and possibly her wrist too adorned with blings from this newly found blue diamond.

Lucky for some!

As the gorgeous Marilyn, who knew a thing or two about diamonds, sang:

Men grow cold
As girls grow old,
And we all lose our charms in the end.

But square-cut or pear-shaped,
These rocks don’t lose their shape.
Diamonds are a girl’s best friend.

Blue Diamond ‘Worth Tens Of Millions’ Discovered

Sky News

A massive diamond with a possible price tag of more than £36m has been discovered at a mine in South Africa.

The 29.6 carat blue diamond, described as being “exceptional”, was dug up at the Cullinan mine near Pretoria – owned by Petra Diamonds.

Chief executive Johan Dippenaar said: “The stones in the last year or so are selling well above $2m (£1.2m) per carat. That’s not my quote, that’s updates in the market.”

However, analyst Cailey Barker at brokers Numis said it could expect to fetch less – between $15m (£9m) and $20m (£12m) – at auction.

The mine, owned by the firm since 2008, was also where the Cullinan Diamond was found in 1905 – described as the largest rough gem diamond ever recovered and weighing 3,106 carats.

Other notable diamonds found in the mine include a 25.5 carat Cullinan blue diamond, found in 2013 and sold for $16.9m (£10m), and a diamond found in 2008, known as the Star of Josephine, which was sold for $9.49m (£5.7m).

Coincidence-Spooky Wooky

Abe Lincoln & JFK

Abe Lincoln & JFK

Have a history teacher explain this if they can.

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.

John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.

John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.

Both wives lost a child while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.

Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln’s secretary was named Kennedy.

Kennedy’s Secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.

Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.

Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.

Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.

Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named “Ford.”

Kennedy was shot in a car called “Lincoln” made by “Ford.”

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here’s the “kicker”:

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland.

A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

AND……………….:

Lincoln was shot in a theater and the assassin ran to a warehouse…

Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and the assassin ran to a theater… ___________________________

Isn’t the above weird?  Does it mean that Kennedy was perhaps a reincarnation of Abe Lincoln?  Worth a thought?!!! hahaha

By the way whilst on flight to the Philippines last Christmas, I saw the film, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.  I thought the film was rather good.  Very tongue in cheek but actually done in such a way that it was interwoven nicely with history.

Divine Marilyn Monroe

1 June 2015  – Today is Marilyn’s birthday. She would have been 89 years old. Such is her iconic status that she is still remembered almost 53 years after her death.

Marilyn Monroe born Norma Jean Baker, was Hollywood sexiest star. Her star appeal, i.e. luminous presence and vulnerability, was what made her be adored by both men and women. This phenomena has never been equalled by any Hollywood star, even by the prettier ones.

Of course there are some who think of her as something of an air-head, because of her blonde hair and girlish countenance.  But this is far from the truth, Marilyn was very witty and very shrewd.

She left behind a treasure trove of witty quotes; some touch the heart

Here are few of her think-out-loud gems.

An actress is not a machine, but they treat you like a machine. A money machine.

Fame will go by and, so long, I’ve had you, fame. If it goes by, I’ve always known it was fickle. So at least it’s something I experienced, but that’s not where I live.

Your clothes should be tight enough to show you are a woman, but lose enough to show you’re a lady.

Did you know?

The most famous Audrey Hepburn film, Breakfast in Tiffany was first offered to Marilyn Monroe.  Truman Capote, the author of the 1958 novel was really disappointed that Marilyn turned down the role.  Apparently playing Holly Golightly, being a lady of the night, would be a bad move for Marilyn as advised to her by her acting coach, Paula Strasberg.

When you’re famous you kind of run into human nature in a raw kind of way. It stirs up envy, fame does. People you run into feel that, well, who does she think she is, Marilyn Monroe? They feel fame gives them some kind of privilege to walk up to you and say anything to you, of any kind of nature — and it won’t hurt your feelings — like it’s happening to your clothes not you.

– Marilyn

Did you know?

Marilyn Monroe was Truman Capote’s ideal to play Holly Golightly in Breakfast in Tiffany.  Marilyn had to turn down the role because her acting coach advised her that the role is not for her.

Marilyn was a true disciple of Salvatore Ferragamo.  She had at least 40 pairs of his work of art shoes:)

I’m a failure as a woman. My men expect so much of me, because of the image they’ve made of me — and that I’ve made of myself — as a sex symbol. They expect bells to ring and whistles to whistle, but my anatomy is the same as any other woman’s and I can’t live up to it.

MARILYN BEAUTY ADVICE:

Wear nude stockings or tights with nude pair of shoes.  Black stockings with black shoes.  This tactic elongates the legs.
