Episode 1

Maiko rushed to her father who had a heart attack.

Thank goodness it was a false alarm.  But he told Maiko that as he was passing out, he suddenly worried that she will be all alone.

He then suggested that she goes on a blind date with a man he specially picked for her.

She did not have any problem with blind dates but when she found out that the man her father wanted her to meet was already 44 years and a divorce’, she was rather concerned.  He is too different from her after all she is only 24.

All her father said was that she will understand when she meets the guy.

And she did understand.

Despite being 44, her blind date was gorgeous.  He is also kind and thoughtful.

She really liked him.  So without any ado, she asked when they could see each other again.

They had a second date and then a third date.  They got on really well.  He confessed that at first he only met her because her father is a big client of his company.

But he found her straightforward and irreverent.  He reckoned that being with her will be full of laughter.

She was loving what he was saying and also their first kiss so was also her first kiss.  She wanted more; she went to the next level, she wanted him to complete a marriage registration.

Harumi went down on one knee and asked her to marry him.

And three months later, they were married.

I love the first episode.  It is funny, cute and interesting.  It pulls you in.  I wanted to watch more and I found 24 minutes per episode is not enough.

Episode 2

Harumi is turning into the ideal husband.  He is gentle and kind, he cooks, he is neat, he is loving and even ready to answer any of Maiko’s questions regarding his past life.

To be fair, Maiko is also very understanding especially when Harumi’s ex-wife contacts Harumi out of the blue.

Harumi was very honest about it but Maiko still had fear because the ex is beautiful and confident.

What Maiko did not know was that the ex complained that Harumi was too easy going.  She was the one who asked him out first and he agreed to go out with her until they got married.

When the ex wanted a divorce, Harumi went along with it without any complaint.

It looks like Harumi is one of those who like an easy life without any drama along the way.
