Episode 1

I have given up with patience and watching this drama without the sub.

It is well acted that you sort of get the gist of the story.

It is very enjoyable that I just watched episodes after episodes.

Xia Rui went to Nan Xi’s posh house for tutoring.

Nan Xi asked her to bring out her book but when she opened her backpack, out came the chips, more chips and more chips, drinks and other snacks.

Xia Rui forgot to bring her book.

Nan Xi shared his book with her but not long after, he found Xia Rui fast asleep.  He supported her with his shoulder and that was how Cheng Er Lou and Zhao Yi Shu found them.

Episode 5

Nan Xi is proving himself with Zhao Yi Shu and to Cheng Er Lou especially after giving him tactics on how to win the basketball competition.

Nan Xi and Xia Rui has that very close friendship one moment and then cold the next.

Episode 6

Over that delicious street food on sticks, Nan Xi told Xia Rui Wo Shi Ai Ni (I am in love with you?)

Episode 7

Cheng Er Lou was bashfully excited when a girl modestly propelled a love letter to him.  But he quickly found out that it was not for him.  She was just asking him to be the messenger to deliver the letter to Nan Xi.

He was going to decline but the girl tempted him with a bagful of snacks.  He agreed but then this seemed to be a go-ahead signal for the other girls to give their letters to him for Nan Xi as well.

Nan Xi social phobia became the talk of the school.  Thank goodness he had already made firm friends of Cheng Er Lou, Yi Shu, and of course Xia Rui who has his back.

Xia Rui started coaching him on how to face the world.  She includes him in everything and he started to come out of his shell.

Episode 8

It was Sports Day. Someone put Nan Xi’s name to run the relay.  Cheng Er Lou, Yi Shu and Xia Rui did everything to convince the teacher to remove his name but in the end, Nan Xi said he will run.

Nan Xi did very well and run so fast towards the waiting arms of Xia Rui at the end of the line.  He won for their team and he got a gold medal for his effort which he gave to Xia Rui.  She put the medal into the box of little things that Nan Xi had given her.

Episode 9

Nan Xi spent the day with Xia Rui looking after her young brother.  The brother complained that he doesn’t have an inspiration for his drawing homework so Nan Xi said he knew just the place for inspiration.  He took them on a trek to a pagoda on top of the mountain which overlook the whole city.

In the end the brother drew his sister and Nan Xi falling asleep next to each other.

Episode 10

Xia Rui started hanging out with Liu Bin which upsets Nan Xi.

Episode 11

Students were doing a rebellion against the coming of age ceremony.  Many of the boys were confessing to girls as it was prohibited to have an underage love affair before it becomes legal in a few days.

Nan Xi and Xia Rui celebrated the ceremony by staying by the mountainside to see the sunrise together.  They promised that they will stay together forever.

Episode 12

It was a New Year’s party at school and the students had to make a presentation.

Nanxi, Xia Rui, Er Luo and Yi Shou were doing a musical piece but Xia Rui was not there so Nanxi went to look for her and found her running a fever alone in the house.

He ministered to her and was there for her all night long till she got better and until her grandparents got back the next morning.

Xia Rui woke up and was very happy to receive a birthday present from Nanxi. She thought no one remembered her birthday.

Episode 13

Xia Rui is so proud of Nanxi that when Professor Gu of Binhai University visited their school, she did everything for the professor to notice Xia Rui.

The professor was impressed when he saw the birthday backpack made by Nanxi for XiaRui.  The professor said that he will be waiting for Nanxi at Binhain Independent Site.

Nanxi was less impress, in fact, he said he would not go to Binhai if Xia Rui can’t get to any university nearby.

Episode 14

Nanxi, Yi Shou and Xia Rui went to take the exam at Binhai in their respective courses.

Poor Xia Rui stumble in her poem so she did not pass the entrance exam for broadcasting.

Nanxi immediately binned his acceptance letter to the shock of his schoolmates.  He said that he will go where Xia Rui goes.

She was so touched but she said that she still has a chance until the common examination.

Xia Rui went to buy exam notes and was determined to tutor her.  All her friends decided to help as well.

Episode 15

Xia Rui studied like she had never before but alas, she still did not get to broadcasting at Binhai as her score was 449, one point below the passing rate for the course.

But Nanxi devised a plan, instead of broadcasting, Xia Rui will study Hotel Management.

The two made a very strong presentation to Xia Rui’s mother who had an agreement with Xia Rui that is she does manage to get to broadcasting, then she will be studying abroad.

At first the mother thought that Nanxi would asked her permission to marry Xia Rui. 🙂 So cute.

Episode 16

Nanxi had changed a lot.  When leaving for university, he gave his surprised mother a big hug and told her that if she misses him, she can telephone him anytime. ahhhh

It was a completely different new environment in the university.

Xia Rui completely took over settling Nanxi in.

She thought that the boys’ dorm was too barbaric of Nanxi so she got him an apartment outside the university.

He really wanted to live with her but she thought she should stay at the dorm.

First day in class for him was daunting with so many strangers around him.

Then another boy came into the class who was like him.  He was Gao Ting, shy and anti-social just like Nanxi.

Episode 17

Nanxi bought a CCTV that he intended to put outside his bedroom door.  For some reason, this upset Xia Rui.

Of course, Nanxi promised not to install it.

Nanxi’s class had been assigned a group work project.  Though his classmates wanted him to be in their group, he refused to join.

Then he started stressing about it and of course, Xia Rui had to solve it and so she did but another guy, Gao Ting, was also having the same problem as Nanxi.

Pity for him, he doesn’t have a Xia Rui of his own.

Episode 18

Awww It is so cute.  Finally, Nanxin confessed to her and said that the house is their home.  He showed her a painting depicting the two of them in their home.

They were about to kiss but Xia Rui’s mother called to say that she had to look after her brother.

She will pay her with the going rates.

Episode 19

Little Brother is so cute but a bit of a handful.  This scenario really does not make sense.  Why would you ask your daughter who was in university to babysit her brother?

Anyway, the mother said that she finished her business early and was now ready to collect young Chen Gao.

Er Luo can’t understand why Yi Shou was upset with him.  He told her that it was time to find herself a boyfriend.

This upset Yi Shou because she was hoping Er Luo would be her boyfriend.

Episode 20

Nanxi had an etiquette lesson where he had to learn to dance with a partner. He did not want to do it at first but Yang Yu Fei came to the rescue.

Yang Yu Fei used to have a crush on Nanxi.

Xia Rui said that she was not bothered but she was because it was Yang Yu Fei.

Episode 21

Xia Rui followed the coffee map that Nanxi and her young brother made for her.

The end of the trail was a coffee shop now run by her old boss, Yi Ze.  With him was Liu Bin who fancies YangYu Fei.

Xia Rui managed to get herself a part-time job at the cafe but had to dash off because her dorm was closing the door.

Anyway, she missed it so she had to stay with Nanxi, who teased her about sharing the same bed – not.

Episode 22

Xia Rui and Nanxi had to get used to co-habiting.  She is not very domesticated and he wanted all the things in their proper place.

When Yushu and Erluo commented that it looks like they would end up breaking up.

Xia Rui and Nanxi said ‘never’ simultaneously.

Yi Ze gave the invitation to WBC to Xia Rui to represent their coffee shop.

Xia Rui was not too enthusiastic about it but Nanxi told her to try her best, he would go with her to Jiangzhou.

Meanwhile, there is also a contest at the architectural department and the winner will be sent to Italy.

nan xi said he was not interested.

Episode 23

The coffee machine Xia Rui’s mother promised had arrived.

Xia Rui made Nanxin drink various types of coffees.  In the end they both suffered.  They can’t sleep and had to go to the toilet all night.

Xia Rui had to go to the contest without Nanxin who had an examination that day.

Xia Rui progressed to the next level of the contest.  Nanxin decided to give in his test paper without finishing it and went to see Xia Rui’s contest.

Xia Rui did not win but she was offered to go to Italy to become a professional barrista.

Episode 24

Nanxin wanted Xia Rui to go to Italy and he with her so he told Professor Gu that he wanted to participate in the contest afterall.

Professor Gu was mildly surprised but supportive of Nanxin.

Gao Ting was not happy that Nanxin was doing the contest as well.  He told him that he was always second to Nanxin but he will win the contest.

Nanxin just told him to go for it which only irritated Gao Ting.
