Episode 1
I really enjoyed this classic manga drama. The leads are so cute with good strong chemistry.
Mahiro and Naoto are a young married couple. But their young love could not sustain their differences in character. Mahiro feels that Naoto is much to calm and bossy. Their daily lives seemed to be one of disagreement after another so Mahiro just packed up and left without giving any forwarding address.
To completely get away from Naoto, Mahiro even changed jobs. She was a month into her new job when it became known that a new deputy manager was also recruited.
Mahiro got a shock but not as surprised as the newly arrived Deputy Manager who turned out to be her Naoto.
They secretly gave each other killing looks. When they had a chance to have a moment together, Naoto immediately asked Mahiro where she was living. Mahiro asked Naoto why he followed her to her new job. Mahiro told her that he did not follow her. He was headhunted by the company. It was all coincidence that they are now working at the same place. They really did not have much opportunity to talk as they were interrupted by curious colleagues.
Naoto immediately advised the deputy director of his circumstances. The deputy Manager Takehashi Sohei was very symphatetic and asked Naoto what he wanted to do. Naoto said that he and Mahiro are like strangers.
Mr Takehashi asked if they are going to divorce. Naoto was rather shocked.
Mahiro was also shocked when her friend, a transexual bar owner asked if she was going to divorce Naoto.
Naoto turned up at the bar. He had a talk with Mahiro but it did not go well. So they decided to be careful and keep their relationship a secret and just be strangers at work.
Back at work the next day, Mahiro and Naoto were told that their company will go out for a welcome dinner for Mahiro and Naoto. They both knew that they were going to be quizzed regarding their personal life.
Poor Mr Takehashi tried to help them out but their collegues were so nosy and persistent with their queries.
Episode 2
During the welcome dinner, they were both asked if they were in a relationship with anyone. Naoto blurted nervously that he was single the same time as Mahiro said she was married.
Poor Mr Takehashi was so stressed about what would happen next but it passed.
Mahiro started thinking why she needed to leave Naoto. She remembered that she did try at first to talk about their issues but he dismissed her reasons as mere excuses. He was fastidous about house chores while she wanted to chill a little bit after coming from a tiring day at work.
Anyway, at her new apartment, she became tidier. She even changed her worn out shoes for a new high heels which almost lamed her.
When she got back at work after visiting a factory, she found a pair of sandals waiting for her under her desk. This made her smile and miss Naoto.
She decided to visit him but then she spotted Naoto hugging their work colleague Miwa who lives nearby the apartment, she turned back in disgust.
Episode 3
Miwa has decided that she will be Naoto’s girlfriend so she did everything to rein him in towards her. She would be waiting outside Naoto’s apartment pretending that she was running away from a stalker.
Naoto tried avoiding her but Miwa was so persistent. She was so tenacious in her pursuit of Naoto that she started visiting him in his apartment where he had removed and hide his and Mahiro’s couple memorabilia.
Miwa found a necklace which she secretly stole as she would not allow any other girl to get in the way with her and Naoto.
