Episode 1
The first episode is full of action being a wuxia drama. I enjoyed.
It started with storytelling from Uncle Ping to young Hu Pei.
Uncle Ping said Hu Pei’s father was Hu Yi Dao, a legendary hero, one of the two greatest and most powerful martial artists, the other being Miao Ren Feng.
Hu Yi Dao was traveling with his wife and baby, Hu Pei, when they stopped at an inn. Before they could settle, they were attacked but Hu Yi Dao was more than capable to sort them all out until walked in Miao Ren Feng.
They had a well-matched fight inside the inn but baby Hu Pei started squalling so Miao Ren Feng said that they will just fight again another time as Hu Yi Dong was distracted by the baby’s wailing.
They did fight in the dead of winter on top of the mountain. For five days and five nights, they fought nonstop.
Their fighting was actually learning each other’s techniques. They became good friends. But then, Hu Yi Dao collapsed when he was slashed by Maio Ren Feng’s sword. His wife tried to suck the venom and died with her husband in the process.
Uncle Ping ended up taking care of Hu Pei and with him was a sword book that Ji Mang, a herbalist tried to steal.
A few years later, it looks like Uncle Ping’s memory was different from that of Miao Ren Feng. He remembered a debt of gratitude from Hu Yi Dao for killing a hood for him. But it is too late for Hu Pei. He believes his Uncle Ping’s version.
A few years later, Maio Ren Feng came to the rescue of the Feimia Escort Agency. He was also looking for Hu Yi Dong’s child.
