Tasseography: Reading the Tea Leaves
Your future can be divined from the tea leaves left from your tea-cup. This wonderful art is called tasseography, which has been practised as far back as 229BC in China.
Sadly, nowadays, this rather exceptional activity of tea-leaves divination is fast becoming a lost art as we have become more of a tea-bag drinking society.
But if you so happen to be brewing a nice cup of char (tea) then here are some of the meanings of the shape left from the bottom of your dainty little china.
this shape means the end of a relationship
Bird means good news from home.
Cat means there is jealousy in the offing.
Dog means fidelity.
Flower is strong friendship
Bell is for joy.
Clock: Time is running out; be decisive
Seagull is news from far away.
Serpent, there is treachery in your midst.
Wheel, a new employment is in the horizon.
Bed, foretells of ailment or sickness.
Hammer is about an auspicious new start.
a new beginning
Heart, some goodness from afar.
Star could only mean good fortune.
Dragon is about false fear.
Circle, meaning there is a wedding.
Airship foretells great danger.
Leaves, is about changes in your life.
Starfish is good luck coming your way.
Fish is uncertainty.
