Episode 1
Wow!!!
I love this first episode, it draws you right in. Li Hong Yi is gorgeous and the other male cast.
Anyway, this is wuxia with lots of martial arts.
Apparently, Emperor Mingde hinted at who would be the Crown Prince. I think it would be his fourth son but then he got involved in some controversy so the Crown Prince title was withdrawn before he got it.
This son had vanished and can’t be found in all four corners of the world.
Meanwhile, the Snow Villa is a derelict inn owned by Xiao Se. His employees (just two) said that perhaps if they could do a renovation, they will get more visitors.
Xiao Se however disagreed. He said their visitors do not come for food and comfort but of the atmosphere. They are at the foot of a mountain overlooking a snowy river.
As they were talking, in walked Lei Wujie who only wanted the cheapest noodles and cheapest wine.
Xiao Se and his workers were disappointed with the lack of real business with Lei Wujie when bandits turned up to rob the place.
They did not get a chance as Lei Wujie took charge and punished the bandits but he left broken tables and crockeries.
Lei Wujie said that he will pay for the damages after he had come back from Yuewue City for the martial arts contest.
Xiao Se thought of going to the city himself as he had been rather trapped at the inn for some time.
So they travelled together and decided to stay in an inhabited mansion where Tang Lian was hiding.
Tang Lian is the number martial artist in Yuewue City. He had been tasked to escort the golden coffin of a sacred monk who had just passed away.
Anyway, it was a busy night because the terrible twins came calling with a death card which Lei Wujie received. Apparently whoever gets the card must die but then Tang Lian revealed himself and said that he received a card before but he is still alive.
There was a good dose of fighting with Lei Wujie taking over after Tang Lian was wounded.
Lei Wujie was a good martial artist although still a newbie. He has an arsenal of cultivation, a legacy from the Lei Family.
The terrible twins ended up leaving.
Xiao Se mentioned to Tang Lian that he had been used as a bait by another intruder who happens to be Sikong Qian Luo.
Sikong was so miffed as Tang Lian would no longer indulge her so she grabbed and ran off with his horses who were pulling the carriage carrying the Golden Coffin.
It so happens that Xiao Se had some pedigree horses so he allowed Tang Lian to have them in return of a share of the coffin made from solid gold.
Tang Lian said that he had to make a stop at the Belle whorehouse for some business. LOL
Loving this drama already.
Episode 2
This episode introduces more of the characters.
At the Belle Brothel, the White Hair guy showed up again. The fight became a free for all with Minghou of the Terrible Twins returning and managing to kick open the Golden Coffin which has Wuxin inside.
Apparently, Wuxin had mastered the 32 sectors of the temple martial art. He had become powerful that the late great monk had used the golden coffin to contain Wuxin.
When Wuxin woke, he could have killed everyone with just a look but fortunately, a follower of the late monk turned up and gave Wuxin a neck pinch which sent him comatose again.
There were lots of fighting but Xiao Se won’t join in as he apparently does not do martial arts but he is a fount of information. He knows who is who and what is what.
Anyway, their group is getting bigger. There is of course Xiao Se, Lei Wu Jie, Tang Lian, Sikong and Ye Ruo Yi, Belle brothel’s no 1 entertainer and martial artist.
Despite their core band, the White Hair guy was much better than all of them. That is until Wuxin telepathically made Tang Lian use his inner force and energy.
He was then able to make the White Hair guy flying to the air into a ravine.
Episode 3
Despite denying it, Xiao Se is a martial artist, he had not shown his prowess yet.
Apparently, Wuxin’s 12 years of peace and safety had come to an end. He is from a demon clan.
Episode 4
It looks like Xiao Se is actually the demoted sixth prince.
He found his master at the derelict inn they were staying in. His master warned him not to go to Yuewue City.
500 tael of gold is not enough to sacrifice his life. Apparently. Xiao Se cultivation was locked by a master who he had yet to find.
His master gave him his sword and he hopes that Xiao Se would use it as Xiao Chu He or Prince Yong An.
Anyway, Xiao Se, Wuxin, and Lei WuJie reached Mailing City where Daiyang Temple is located. Wuxin was looking for a martial artist monk that he had a contretemps with.
They did not only find the monk, but they also met Eunuch Jade Deity.
Episode 5
Eunuch Jade Deity was really good. He said that Wuxin Abysmal Eyes won’t work with him because he stayed for six years at Mount Kunlun where it snowed 24/7 all year round.
But when Eunuch Jade Deity saw Xiao Se, he stopped harming Wuxin and left immediately for the Capital to see the Emperor.
Wuxin was ready to kill Wang Rensun but he remembered what Abbot Wanyou had told him. It was all about fate so killing Wang Rensun is really immaterial. Wang Rensun had to kill Wuxin’s father who was his best friend because it was fated.
Abbot Wanyou was the kindest man who adopted him.
Instead of killing Wang Rensun, he told him to arrange a prayer offering for Abbot Wangyan with 300 monks.
Lei Wu Jie wanted to know why Wuxin chose him and Xiao Se to follow him. Wuxin said that because of his Abbysmal eyes. Through this cultivation, he knew that Lei Wu Jie has a pure and innocent heart while Xiao Se had buried his emotion in a bottomless pit. The Abysmal Eyes do not work with them.
He said that Abbot Wanyou had destroyed the 32 levels of Rakshana martial arts so if Wuxin does, the art will die with him. He said that he will teach Lei Wu Jie and Xiao Se a level each.
Lei Wu Jie excitedly learned the FFF (Freedom Formidable Fist). Xiao Se was not impressed because it is the first level of martial arts that even the servants in his inn know how to perform it.
Wuxin made it more complicated. He then told Xiao Se that he will teach him the Abysmal Eyes.
I am really loving this drama. I hope there is not much romance. The three-way bromance is enough.
Episode 6
Wuxin’s reason to going to Daiyan Temple was to release the spirit of Abbot Wouyou.
The specter of Abbot Wouyou spoke to Wuxin, telling him that it was time to go home to fulfill his fate.
The Abbot told him to go on a journey.
Later on both, Xiao Se and Wu Jie told Wuxin that wherever he goes, he won’t be alone because they were going with him. Awww
It is so exciting. All of the best martial artists in the land wanted to kill or defeat Wuxin. But Some of the martial artists realised that Wuxin is not evil but if they victimised him, then he might turn evil.
Master Dajue who has the strength of the seven best martial artists almost defeated Wuxin. But Wuxin used all his energy to drain Master Dajue’s cultivation.
Then Wu Shuang, the child genius turned up with his Wushuang box where he can command the legendary swords it contained.
Wuxin and the other fighters were all spent but then Lord Sikong turned up with his mega sword.
Episode 7
Lord Sikong is known as the spear deity and with good reasons too. He grabbed the Wushuang Box from Wushuang. With minimal effort the spear deity managed to open the box in all of its glory revealing all legendary thirteen swords. (Wushuang could only manipulate four.)
Anyway, Spear Deity tasked the White Hair Deity, who miraculously did not die from the ravine, to take Wuxin back home.
Aww, Wuxin was escorted back to Tianweiting by the White Haired deity after being emotionally blackmailing Wuxin to return home because the other nine sects have severed their affiliation with the demon sect. He told Wuxin that he had to rebuild before it is too late.
Xiao Se did not want him to go and even said that he could find a solution to the matter but Wuxin said that it was time.
He promised to return to the martial arts world.
To get money, lei Wujie tried his luck at the Dengtian Tower.
Nooo Xiao Se started flirting with Sikong.
Episode 8
Surprisingly, Wujie was quite good at fighting and was able to climb the very top of the challenge tower.
Beforehand, the liquior deity made him drink strong alcohol which freed his fire starter skill.
At the final hurdle, he faced Li Hanyi, his martial sister.
Episode 9
Li Hanyi was so good, with one slash of her sword the tower was cut in half vertically which sent the spear deity in despair as it would cost so much to repair the tower. But then Hanyi cut the tower again. Wujie lost but for some reason, Li Hanyi wanted him to be her disciple.
The spear deity told Xiao Se that he wanted him to be his disciple. He would cure Xiao Se as well as make the financial director of Yuewue City.
Wuxin settled back in Weitianing City but often thinks of his two friends whom he wants to meet again the martial arts world.
Episode 10
This episode is about swords, swords, and more swords.
Also the love story of Li Hanyi and Zhao Yu Zhen.
Zhao Yu Zhen lives on the mountain and would not come down to the village because he is prevented from living on the mountain. He had been psychologically controlled by a master monk who took him away from his parents upon his birth when a ray of light appeared in the birthing room. Apparently, this meant that Zhao Yu Zhen is a deity and was foretold that he could bring chaos if he happens to mingle with mortals.
Anyway, a masked Li Hanyi went to check him out one day. They fought briefly and Hanyi’s masked broke and fell to the ground.
Zhao Yu Zhen fell in love with her at first sight because she looks like a fairy.
He asked her to come back and see him again. So he waited and waited under the peach blossom tree for months but she never came back. When she did she was prevented by guards to enter the mountain because Zhao Yu Zhen was recuperating or meditating.
Anyway, now Hanyi used more of her time training Li Wu Jie. What he does not know was that Hanyi was his real biological sister. She felt guilty about neglecting him because she got too busy mastering her swords skill.
She gave him her magical sword which at first he can’t unsheath. She told him that he had to have a real and reasonable purpose to use the sword.
Wu Jie had a chance to use the sword when he met Master Da Jue who wanted to have a word with Hanyi who was training at that time.
Wu Jie would not let him disturb his master Hanyi and this time was able to unsheath his sword. It was impressive but still, Da Jue was a more experienced fighter than Wu Jie. Hanyi turned up just in time as Wu Jie collapsed in her arm.
Da Jue told her that her little disciple was impressive but no better than his own disciple, Wu Shuang, who will be a sword deity in 5 years’ time.
Hanyi said that she could turn Wu Jie into a sword deity in 3 years’ time.
Da Jue related this to Wu Shuang, who bragged that he will be a deity in a year’s time. He then threw his Wushuang box and ten swords came flying out. Dajue was impressed with his disciple. In a matter of days from four swords, Wushuang can now cultivate 10 swords.
Episode 11
It was the Flora Spectre (Flower Festival) which mostly men attended so the arrival of the beautiful Ye Rui Yi created quite a commotion.
She ended up dancing the sword dance with Wu Jie under the shower of peach blossoms. It was so beautiful, it inspired Xiao Se to play the guzheng, while Master Xie Xuan played the flute. As it was a poetry festival as well, Tang Lian recited a few verses which made the festival into a raving party🤣🧨
Wu Jie fell more in love with Ye Rui Yi but Xiao Se and Tang Lian were killing themselves with silent laughter at how naive Wu Jie with his chat-up lines.
Master Xie really enjoyed himself so he was so generous and started gifting Ye Rui Zi with heavenly Zumba exercises which are much better to strengthen her body and health.
For Wu Jie, he gave him a wooden flash card to improve his chat-up lines.
To Tang Lian, he said that he heard that he was prudish so he gave him a porn book (I think) to loosen him up.😉😉😉
Finally, Xiao Se. Master Xie knew him of old. He gave Xiao Se an untitled book which the master wrote himself. It turned out it was his martial arts skill.
According to Master Sikong, if Xiao Se learns the book religiously, within three years he will be able to get back his core power.
Wow, after training from Li Hanyi, Wu Jie had now reached the carefree phase and he also found out that Hanyi was his elder sister.
Episode 12
Hanyi trained Wu Jie so well, he just needed polishing here and there. Hanyi told Wu Jie about their parents.
There were heroes and their mother died a hero who passed the task of protecting the person who was meant to rule the palace.
Hanyi said that she will pass the token to him so he will be one of the four protectors of “the One”. Hanyi was surprised when her brother seemed not to know that The One she was talking about was Xiao Se. Anyway, she did not tell him. But then Wu Jie had more pressing things on his mind.
Sikong Qianlou was to be married but she had asked her father to hold a competition for possible suitors. The remaining one will fight her and if he won, she will marry him, if not she will take her time to get married.
On the day, there were many who participated. Both Tang Lian and Wu Jie opted not to enter as they both had women already on their sight.
So they encouraged Xiao Se to enter. He won but immediately surrendered when he had to fight Qianlou.
Meanwhile, in the vicinity, Prince Bai turned up looking for Xiao Se. `He was sent by Emperor Mingde to bring back his brother, Xiao Chu He. All is forgiven and he will be served the fatted calf upon his return.
Episode 13
Despite being blind, Prince Bai is very astute. He gave Xiao Se three days to make up his mind about accepting the decree of the Emperor.
Xiao Se continued to refuse saying that he is now a commoner and had no desire to go back to Tianqi.
Lord Sikong meanwhile had a bit of nostalgia moment, remembering that he was Vermillion Deity, protector of Xiao Chu He, the Sixth Prince.
He was still gently stroking the token when Qiaolu came in and saw the token. She asked her father if she could have it.
Lord Sikong readily agreed to give the token to her but explain that it comes with the responsibility of protecting someone important, the Sixth Prince.
Suddenly the token felt scorching to Qianlou who returned it immediately to her father telling him, Xie Xie but no.
Episode 14
Lord Sikong was surprised but Qianlou said that she will only protect someone she likes. Somehow, Lord Sikong can’t tell her that Xiao Se is the Sixth Prince. Anyway, he told her someone needs immediate protection and that was Xiao Se.
Xiao Se at that moment was with Prince Bai and his lethal bodyguard. Xiao Se said that he was refusing the edict of the Emperor.
Prince Bai ordered his bodyguard to subdue Xiao Se but just in time, Qianlou was there fighting. She was good but the bodyguard was a killing machine. To end the fight, Xiao Se run into the guard’s sword stabbing him in the chest.
Prince Bai ordered his guard to cease and desist. They were leaving. Apparently, he was expecting this kind of strategy from Chu He.
Xiao Se got better in no time. He agreed to go with Wu Jie to a martial arts competition. Xiao Se thinks that he had to go to protect Wu Jie, who is his destined protector.
Meanwhile, Xiao Yu or Prince Ci traveled to Tianweitian to see Wuxin. Prince Ci was able to convince Wuxin to support him after he told Wuxin that they are blood brothers. They have the same mother, who was abducted by Emperor Mingde.
Wuxin has a condition, he said that in no way that his best friend Xiao Se will be harmed or the deal is off.
Episode 15
Xiao Se and Wu Jie reached Mount Wangcheng. Wu Jie asked to see Zhao Yuchen but his call was ignored. Xiao Se advised him to demand to see Zhao Yuchen. He abided by the advice, he was more firm and started brandishing his sword.
Zhao Yuchen could not get there fast enough because he knew the sword. It was Hanyi’s sword. And to further enthrall him, Wu Jie did the Beautiful Day sword maneuver that Yuchen thought Hanyi himself.
Yuchen found out that Wu Jie is Hanyi’s brother who wanted to invite him to go to the martial arts tournament. He teased him saying that Hanyi might be going.
Yuchen just recited a few couplets of poetry which Wu Jie found gobbledygook.
Hanyi at that moment was fighting Su Changli at the mountain.
Meanwhile, the 11th Prince went to Dark Rivers and introduced himself as Xiao Chu He, the 6th Prince. But someone from Dark Rivers knew of the real Chu He.
Xiao Se and Wu Jie’s travel was more eventful. They were accosted by the Dark River clan who are assassins.
Wu Jie was still a neophyte to be able to fight off Su Changhe and a couple more assassins.
Xiao Se knew that he would have been killed if Qiolou had not turned up and banded with Wu Jie. Between the three of them, they were able to get away from Su Changhe but only to fall victim to Su Muyo who was at the same inn as them.To get rid of Su Muyo, Xiao Se transferred his qi to the poisoned Wu Jie and Qianlou to fight off Su Muyo.
Back in the Tang Clan, Tang Lianyue gave his Black Tortoise Token with the responsibility of protecting Tianqi and the Sixth Prince to Tang Lian, the most competent disciple.
So now, Wu Jie has the Azure Dragon token, Qiolou still had not accepted the vermillion bird token but then token or no token, she would protect Xiao Se with her life. Tang Lian had the Black Tortoise. Who is the fourth guardian?
Episode 16
Without much of his core energy, Xiao Se was so weak.
Wu Jie used his SOS flare and almost instantaneously, Luo Mingxuan turned up.
Between them all, they carried Xiao Se to Sword Heart Tomb where Wu Jie reunited with his maternal grandfather, Li Suwang the master sword maker/forger. He took Wu Jie’s Tingyun sword and told him to find him at his mancave later that evening.
Luo Mingxuan got a set of six swords from Grandpa while Wu Jie was ushered to collection and ended up in Grandpa’s most prized possession. The Heart Sword was Wu Jie’s mother’s sword.
Wu Jie had to prove himself worthy of the sword. He traveled via astral projection to see his mother who told him that he can have her sword.
Xiao Se was taken to a young medical doctor who apprenticed under Spear Deity, Lord Sikong. She was a very ambitious Hua Jin who promised him that she will cure him completely and release his secret energy when she finds out the book about it.
Grandpa told the guys that he will create a diversion that night so they could leave.
Su Changli was there and had a duel with Grandpa but Wu Jie turned up and injured Su Changli.
Su Changli said that a loser assassin is better off dead so he killed himself.
Wu Jie had turned into a drama queen because he was upset about having killed someone.
Meanwhile, Wuxin is back. He rescued Tang Lian and Ye Ruoyi from assassins from Dark Rivers.
Episode 17
It turned out that Ye Ruoyi is not a good girl after all. Wuxin revealed that he intercepted a bird carrying a message from Ruoyi pinpointing their location.
Episode 18
This episode broke my CP heart. I was always rooting for Li Hanyi and Zhao Yuzhen. But their love story ended tragically on their wedding day. Zhao Yuzhen died in Hanyi’s arms under the peach blossom tree where they first met.

Xiao Se set sail with Tang Lian and Wu Jie, and then Qianlou turned up as well, to find a cure for his ailment which is now slowly killing him. They met the chaebol Mu Chunfeng who was a good martial artist as well and became very impressed when Chunfeng found out that he was in the company of great fighters. He got more excited when he also learned that Xiao Se is actually the royal, Xiao Chu He, who stood for Lord Langyan.
Mu Chungeng was into medicine as well but found that his skill in not up to a level that could make any difference to Xiao Se’s ailment.
In fact, he asked Xiao Se to introduce him to Hua Jin, whose skill is superior.
Xiao Se agreed, seeing that Mu Chunfeng is just like Wu Jie, two harmless puppies.
Hanyi was going berserk, she almost killed Lei Hong who had been trying to keep her safer. Thank goodness, Wuxin suddenly turned up and encased Lei Hong into an energy shield.
Wuxin then removed the glowing evil in Hanyi’s eyes. He told her that she has only 20 per cent energy left and advised her to go home.
Lei Hong confessed to Hanyi that he fell in love at first sight with her all those years ago but alas he never got a chance.
Hanyi got back to Xueyue City and was seen by Lord Sikong. He told her that it would take 3 years to regain her energy and status as a sword deity.
Episode 22
There was a bit of excitement at Xueyue City as someone announced the new ranking of martial artists.
Also, the five pillar deities had gone down to four.

Episode 24
It was the annual ceremony at Tianqi where the Emperor had to write down the name of the crown prince at the Dragon Seal Scroll. But before the Emperor could do so, he collapsed.
He had been a coma and the Divine Healer, young Hua Jin was summoned to heal the Emperor.
Xiao Se and the gang had reached Xueyue City. Xiao Se heard about his father and was rather concerned for him. Then Lord Langya, the son of Xiao Chu He’s master, Lord Langya, appeared. Xiao Se was glad to see him. Between them, they agreed that they will investigate who was behind the plot of blaming Lords Langya for treason.
Xiao Se said that he will return to Tianqi and find out the truth. Lord Langya said that when he hears from Xiao Se about his findings, he will return to Tiangqi with a bang.
Qianlou asked Xiao Se if she could go to Tianqi with him. Xiao Se could not give her an answer because it would be dangerous. Anyway, in the end, Qianlou, Wu Jie, Tang Lian and Miss Ye decided to escort and support Xiao Se.
Episode 25
This episode has amazing fights.
The three tokened guardians of Xiao Se with the help of Miss Ye created a sort of toll gate so they do not hinder Xiao Se from entering Tianqi City.
Wu Jie fought the Wushuang City clan. As he fought with them Wu Jie reached a higher level of cultivation. Even Song Yanhui was impressed with him as Wu Jie made him remember what being a martial artist was about, that is to protect the people, so Yanhui told his people to cease and desist.
Meanwhile, Qianlou singlehandedly fouth with the huge army of Lou City and she was doing very well but there were just too many of them. But then the Ye army turned up led by Ye Ruoyi so the fight became level. Qianlou managed to kill the leader with her spear which sent fear to the remaining soldiers. They run away.
I particularly like Tang Lian who became the Drunken Master. I have to correct what I said before🤣🤣🤣. He did not receive a porn book from Master Xie (Episode 11)🤪🤪🤪🤪 to loosen him up but actually it was a book of liquor that could bring out the best of his core energy but with the ultimate side effect to one’s health and that is death?!!!
Anyway, Tang Lian under the influence of alcohol made mince meat of the trained assassins of Dark River led by a very capable Xie Qidao. But poor Tang Lian was all spent in the end.
Xiao Se was met by her Uncle with the Tiger Soldiers just outside Tianqi City.
Episode 26
It looks like Tang Lian died. He drank the 7 glasses of potent alcohol to give him strength. After fighting and killing 21 strong assassins, he was overtired and died.😭😭😭
The guys were very sad about it and could not really believe it as Tang Lian was invisible. Xiao Se said that as Tang Lian died because of him, he will get revenge for him.
He then told Ye Ruoyi to compile the names of nobles, the powerful including those working underground because it was time that they know he is back. He will throw a grand banquet. He will use the biggest venue in town which is the Qianjin Gambling House.
He invited everyone including his brothers who tried to sabotage the party by making sure those who were pro-them would not attend.
It looked like the banquet was a bit of a damp squib at first because, for the first two hours of the meet and greet, no one turned up.
Episode 27
More and more guests started to arrive. And then the guests that everyone would want at their party arrived. Not only the Grand Preceptor but also the State Preceptor as well. Because of their presence, all the court ministers arrived en masse which was found out by Princes Bai and Cui so they themselves hurried to Qianjin Gambling House.
It was a convivial affair in the surface but then Fairy Rui, the fiancee of Tang Lian turned up and told him that he owed them. He agreed that he does so the party turned into a funeral and memorial to his great friend, Tang Lian.
He even offered Tofu Rice as a final dish to comply with a funeral tradition.
Then this was interupted by the arrival of the Emperor which surprised and shocked everyone as it was known that the Emperor was in an induced coma.
Anyway, he welcomed Xiao Se and invited him for a tete-a-tete at the palace.
Episode 28
Hua Jin mentioned to Xiao Se that Emperor Ming De’s heart problem was under control but he still continues to be poorly. She reckoned that there is another force that was purposely making the Emperor ill.
Prince Bai heard that Hua Jin is a divine healer. So he thought of seeking her help for his blindness. Hua Jin asked Xiao Se if he was ok with it.
Mu Chunfeng bought himself an apprenticeship with Hua Jin.
Meanwhile, Xiao Se went to Baxiao Sect to ask for their help in locating Ye An Shi (Wu Xin). Xiao Se was surprised to find out that Baxiao Sect had been secretly protecting him because Ji Xue holds the White Tiger token. She is one of Lord Yong’An’s protectors.
Episode 29
I have to say that I am finding it hard to warm to Qianlou especially when she always insists that she is one of the prettiest girls in the empire. She also gets jealous of anyone who look at Xiao Se like when Jin Xue arrived. Qianlou was ready to kill her and was still suspicious even when she found out that Jin Xue is the White Tiger.
She was so annoyed when Mu Chenfeng complimented Jin Xue on how gorgeous she looks. Miss Ye felt sorry for Qianlou so she told her that Jin Xue and Xiao Se are like siblings. They grew up together because Ji Ruo Feng was Jin Xue’s father and Xiao Se’s master/teacher.
Jin Xue told Xiao Se where Wu Xin was.
When he found Wuxin, Xiao Se told him that he will help him see Consort Xuan.
Xiao Se enlisted the help of the Jade Deity to get Wuxin into the palace.
Wuxin pretended to be one of the Jade Deity’s intern eunuch. Wuxin was assigned to Consort Xuan’s palace.
They got on well because Consort Xuan told him that he remind her of Ye Jingze, the former demon lord.
Anyway, they were interrupted by the arrival of Prince Chi. Consort Xu told Wuxin to wait a while while she goes to meet the Prince.
Prince Chi told his mother that he had procured a brand new type of tea. He had it immediately brewed for her. After watching her drink the tea, he left.
Wu Xin saw the consort collapsing. He realised her own son poisoned her. He used his qi to draw out the poison. An exhilarated Prince Chi returned and told Wuxin that the poison he just removed from their mother was now in Wuxin’s system.
Poor Wuxin had just become a specimen for the Night Crow with her various toxins.
Episode 30
Hua Jin examined Prince Bai. She told him that she could treat him and make him see again. But she kept the procedure secret.
Prince Bai asked Hua Jin if she had asked Xiao Se if it was ok with Xiao Se to treat him. Hua Jin said that she did consult Xiao Se about it and he encouraged her to do it because Xiao Se felt guilty about what happened when they were children. Prince Bai grabbed the pastry meant for Xiao Se. The pastry was toxic and made him blind. Hua Jin added that the person that really convinced her to cure Prince Bai was the Emperor.
Prince Bai’s assistant had read about possible treatment and knew that the only way to proceed was an eye transplant. This was confirmed by Hua Jin who asked the assistant to find a suitable healthy donor.
The assistant immediately said that the donor is standing in front of her. She was surprised and told him that it was no mean joke to be blind. But he made up his mind.
The surgery was arranged in three days.
Prince Chi ensured for the treatment not to go ahead by asking Dark Rivers assassins to prevent it.
But Xiao Se knew that this would happen so he worked with Prince Bai’s people to stand guard.
Meanwhile, Qianlou begged Xiao Se to return to Xueyue with her after the issue at Tianqi is over. She asked him to forego being an Emperor for her.
At the moment, he was not giving her a straight answer but she said that she was practising her martial arts so much so she could be better than him and then kidnap him to bring him back to Xueyue City to be her sex slave.🤣🤣🤣
Poor Wuxin had become a specimen subject of the Night Crow.
Episode 31
17 January 2023: I read in Twitter that Tang Lian might not be dead. Whoa.
It was a battle at the palace. The Night Crow gave the Dark River assassins a potion that would make them stronger but it could only last for an hour and they die.
The battle lasted quite a while. Wu Jie and the gang noticed that the strong assassins were dying one by one, disappearing like ghosts.
Prince Chi was annoyed so he brought out the big gun. His new fighting machine, Wuxin.
Xiao Se recognised Wuxin who was going into Prince Bai’s room. Luckily, Xiao Se managed to contain Wuxin before he could do real damage to the newly operated Prince Bai, but not before Wuxin struck Hua Jin and Mu Chunfeng senselessly.
Xiao Se and Wuxin ended up outside. Somehow, Wuxin stopped when his name Wuxin was called but Prince Chi came to get him back.
Prince Chi told Xiao Se that Prince Bai was compromised. The 9th Prince who was closest to Prince Bai had been tasked by Prince Chi to kill Prince Bai.
The 9th Prince died instead as Xiao Se had already installed an automatic bullet to whoever touched Prince Bai without precaution.
Prince Bai, later on, was very upset after finding out that while he was out of it, something hectic had happened. His young confidante brother Jiangxi tried to kill him. Then he also found out that his most trusted assistant is now blind, having donated his eyes to him.
Xiao Se went to see Master Xie to cure Hua Jin. Xiao Se also consulted the Grand Preceptor as the Department of Astronomy how to cure Wuxin was toxin given to him by the Night Crow. The Grand Preceptor said that a drop of blood from the patient’s closest relative should do it.
So Xiao Se and Wu Jie dressed up like women to sneak into the harem to find Consort Xuan.
Finally, Consort Xuan, found out that Wuxin was her son. She willingly gave a drop of her blood but told Xiao Se to tell Wuxin never to see her again.
Episode 32
The death of Eunuch Jin Yu was a source of suspicion amongst the remaining Four Great Eunuchs as only one of them could have killed Jin Yu using the Art of Detachment. I think it was the head eunuch who killed Jin Yu.
The now-seeing Prince Bai came to pay respect to his dead master Jin Yu and promised that he will avenge his death.
It was Head Eunuch who was the killer. He was working for Prince Chi. Xiao Se said that he was 90 percent sure it was him too.
A big battle is coming imminently.
General Ye ordered his daughter, Ye Rouyi, to leave Tianqi as soon as possible as the Emperor will die soon and there will be a revolt amongst the princes.
When Ye Rouyi asked what is the chance of Xiao Se winning, the General said that he will lose because he is not wicked enough to battle to the bitter end.
Meanwhile, the Emperor told his back story to Hua Jin. He said that he is missing his young brother who he was guilty of killing. He said that he once knelt for four hours in front of the Imperial Physician dorm so they would treat his ailing young brother. But they told him they can’t do anything for the brother anymore.
So he killed a physician and promised that he will be emperor so he and his brother will not be looked down on.
His brother was Xiao Ruofeng or Lord Lanya who was loved by the people for good governance but in the end, Emperor Ming De had him executed.
General Ye had left Tianqi. Xiao Se told his Uncle that in 15 days Tianqi will be in peril as 200,000 Lanyan Army will come to town.
Episode 33
I am not too sure what Xiao Se is playing at. He sent a go ahead message to Little Lord Langya that it was time to return to Tianqi and yet he tells Ye Ruoyi that he was worried of Lord Langya invading Tianqi.
General Ye’s Ye Batallion had officially joined Langya’s army.
Aww, Little Lord Langya with General Ye and his band of 200,000 soldiers arrived in Tangqi.
Episode 34
This episode is totally owned by Ba Shu who played Xiao Ling Chen, Little Lord Langyan. He was badass and kicked ass.
Episode 35
Princes Chi, Bai and ChuHe all tried to get the list from Eunuch Jin Yan, the Director of Seal. The list is an extensive record of all those who supported the Langya army.
Eventually, it was Chu He who was promised the list. He escorted Eunuch Jin Yan and Jin Zhu. They were ambushed all the way.
The Head Eunuch appeared and fought with Xiao Se. Eunuch Jin Zhu twigged that the Head Eunuch was the murderer of Eunuch Jin Yu using the Art of Detachment.
The Royal guards came to escort Chu He with the Eunuchs back to the palace where the Emperor was waiting.
Eunuch Jin Yan gave the list to the Emperor. Instead of reading the list, the Emperor burnt it which shocked it, everyone. The Emperor said that he need not read it because he knows who is on the list, which he said includes the Grand Preceptor.
The Emperor was very understanding. He said most of those on the list were just worried about what would happen as the Emperor was not going to live for long.

The Emperor gave the choice for Chu He whether to take the throne or not. In the end, Chu He stood down and allowed his bemused brother, the Second Prince Bai to be the new Emperor. Meanwhile, Xiao Se went back to the Martial Art world to protect the Empire.
