Congressman Collantes’ Son in Road Rage Attack!!!

The son of Batangas 3rd District Congressman, Sonny Collantes, was involved in a road rage incident.

The entire fracas was caught in  a video cam which clearly belies King (kong) 😉 Collantes alibi that he did not lay a finger on a 66 years old frail jeepney driver.  Looking at the video, King(kong) Collantes looks like being economical with the truth ( a.k.a. LYING.!!!) Is he also a politician?

Allegedly, the grandly named King George Collantes  said that his mobile phone developed a life of its own and hit the jeepney driver independently, again and again;  King (kong) Collantes was an unwilling bystander between the possessed mobile phone  and poor Mr Garcia. LOL  -Yellow-Emoticon-Rolling-On-The-Floor-And-Laughing

After seeing George doing a mini- King Kong impression,  attacking someone helpless, one can say “liar, liar, pants on fire”  Collantes thinks he is literally the king of the road.

Perhaps, he had that  ‘madness of King George’, in relation to his famous 18/19th Century namesake, King George of England, who was regarded as insane later in his reign! LOL

Mr Garcia should be aptly compensated and Collantes should be prosecuted and given a jail time or at least a suspended sentence of 2 years plus and attend an anger management course.  And he should hire an exorcist for his mobile phone. -Yellow-Emoticon-Rolling-On-The-Floor-And-Laughing

I wonder what the Congressman, Sonny, think about this incident?  Did he apologise for his son and the haunted mobile phone?

I hope he fires King (Kong) Collantes from his position of being chief of staff as a congress rep.  A bullyboy has no place to serve the people.  And it is time that nepotism is looked at when hiring staff.

Driver mauled by congressman’s son traumatized

MANILA – The 66-year-old jeepney driver mauled by the son of Batangas 3rd District Rep. Nelson “Sonny” Collantes still bears the trauma from the incident.

Orlando Garcia, a senior citizen, said he is having trouble sleeping after recounting in his mind the mauling he received from lawyer George Leandro Antonio Collantes.

“I’m also afraid to go out now and drive. I feel like everyone I meet on the road looks like him,” he told radio dzMM.

Even his 9-year-old grandson has been deeply traumatized after seeing his “lolo” get beaten up. “He has not been going to school,” Mang Orlando said in Filipino.

The mauling incident, which happened Tuesday last week, was caught on video.

Garcia has yet to file a case against the younger Collantes, saying he has been physically ill for days now.

Mediation proceedings have been scheduled this afternoon at the barangay where the incident happened.

“It was just a small thing. My jeepney was a bit far from his car. He could always maneuver his car. He just wanted to move ahead of me,” Garcia recalled. He said the lawyer insisted he move back so he could pass by.

“It was because he had the plate number ‘8’ and I was only a jeepney driver,” he added.

Then the mauling started. He said he was punched several times in the head and mouth. “My dentures were hurled away.”

He said the lawyer cussed at him several times. “I received all his cussing. I told him to respect me even if I only carried a jeep because I am already a senior citizen. I thought he was also a driver until I realized he was a lawyer and a son of a congressman.”

He said Collantes never apologized. “He even told the police, ‘I will fight for my right because I am a lawyer,’” Garcia said.

Garcia’s wife said they will not stop until justice is served.

Incidentally, the Garcias are from the same district as Collantes’ father.

“Para kayong maamong tupang umakyat sa bahay ko noong eleksyon. Pagkatapos nyo manalo, yun lang pala ang gagawin nila sa kababayan nila (They were very humble when they were campaigning. After winning, this is what they do to their constituents.)”

“Is that what they teach in law school?” she asked.
