Episode 1

Moriwaka is a walking calculator, she was so good with numbers that when she goes shopping, no matter how many items she gets, she has already the correct amount of money to the cent before the shop assistant was even finished adding up all her shopping.

Fortunately, Morikawa has the job she likes. She is an accountant and works in the audit.

As typical of departments, Sales and Accounting have a bit of aggressive competition against each other.

Part of Moriwaka’s job was to approve, investigate and/or disapprove an expense.

Everyone knew of her reputation.  She was by the book and could quote the company policy, rules and regulation if need be.

Anyway, the most prolific member of Sales, Taiyo, had submitted a load of expenses.  Some for trips in USA Land and Europe Village.

His client was a married woman with a child.  He was later found out with the woman and her child at USA Land.  But he was also with Kirika who posted a selfie of them together.

Then a rumour started that Taiyo was having an affair with the client.  Moriwaki was then sent by her boss to investigate Taiyo who was due to take the client to Europe Village.

There Morikawa found Taiyo with the client and her child.

The next day Morikawa was called by Mr Niijima about discrepancies in Taiyo’s expenses.

Mr Fukikoshi was excitedly awaiting Morikawa’s finding but he was very disappointed with what she had to say.

She said that even if Taiyo was having an affair with the client, his expenses were legitimate because he was doing his job by showing the client what needed showing and to keep the client happy, instead of taking her to an expensive restaurant, he took her to another venue where she also brought her daughter so she could spend time with her as she thought she was neglecting her.  So in a way, this makes good business sense to keep the client happy.

Taiyo was being posted to Hong Kong for at least two years.  He told Morikawa not to go with him because he wanted to prove himself.  After two years he will come back worthy ofher.
