So looking forward to this drama. Jang Nara and Lee Sang Yoon tandem is hard to ignore. Both charismatic actors.
Apparently Jang Nara and Lee Sang Yoon play a couple who work in the VIP section of a department store. Some issues unexpectedly came up testing their marriage.
I just saw an intro to this drama and it looks really intriguing and exciting.
Jung Sun and Sung Joon were a totally love up couple until one night Jung Sun received a text saying that her beloved husband is having an affair with someone in her team.
Overnight her loving marriage crumbled. I think there were three other women in her team and she had to find out who is doing it with her husband.
Whoa… exciting.
Episode 1
This initial episode is already dark and I reckon it would only get darker.
Na Jung Sun works as Vice Manager of Sung Un Department store’s VIP section. Her husband, Park Sung Joon, is her boss, a newly promoted executive at the VIP section of the department store.
The VIP section caters for the uber-rich, the elite where money is no object or they buy things without ever looking at the price tags first (lucky people, LOL)
Jung Sun is the team leader in her section.
In her team, there was Lee Hyun Ah who is classy and independent and man-hungry.
Then Song Mi Na, who is married with two children, who is rather frustrated with her husband and childcare plus the fact that she had not been promoted for the last six years.
And then there was On Yoo Ri, who was the subject of internal gossip because she used to work at the food section below and miraculously promoted to join the VIP section at the exclusive section of the building. This was very unheard of and she was rumored to be the latest plaything of the Vice President of the Sung Un Department store.
To complete the team was Ma Sang Woo who is a newbie guy who had not much experience yet and waits for everyone to show him the ropes rather than being pro-active and learn the process through his own initiative. Ma Sang Woo is also a bit of a gossip.
The three ladies seemed to be keeping individual secrets of a rather sexual in nature.
Lee Hyun Ah was just getting dressed and coming out of a room into the same corridor where Park Sung Joon had just been walking furtively a few minutes before.
Then Mi Na was buttoning her blouse in her car before she attended a PTA meeting.
On Yoo Ri was about to get into an elevator when she saw both the Vice President and Park Sung Joon. The look on her face was one of shock and excitement.
In between these circumstantial happenings, the VIP sections dealt with the most exacting clients who do not favor lookalikes, when they want an item, then it must be that item, not a lookalike and the sooner they get it the better.
Anyway, one of their clients who was in prison for drug-taking died suddenly. The VIP team attended her funeral.
On their way home on that rainy day, Jung Sun asked her husband what would he do the day before his death. He did not really give a clear answer, not even a token romantic one like ‘I want to spend it with you’.
Park Sung Joon is just dour. So serious. It was because he has a secret. He had been receiving texts. One of which says “I miss you.” He just stared guiltily at his sleeping wife after reading the text.
Jung Sun was feeling frisky one day and she told her husband to come home early and have supper together.
She went shopping for steak and even managed to get a sexy bra.
She was ready and waiting for him scantily clad when there was someone at the door. It was her mother-in-law who brought her some herbal medicine to help her get pregnant.
Well, it looks like she would not be getting pregnant anytime soon because her husband seemed to be getting his fill somewhere else. And it was seen by someone.
And he was late for dinner. When he got home he went straight to bed to sleep.
There seemed to be a rather mysterious door in their house as Jung Sun looked at it as she passed it. Was it a nursery? Perhaps they had a child who died?!!!
Then she heard a text being sent to her phone.
It said “Your husband is having an affair with someone on your team.”
She then looked at her husband’s handsome sleeping face.
Excruciating!
Episode 2
What a corker of an episode. I love it, I hate it in equal measure.
It looks like Park Sung Joon is having it off with someone other than his wife. And it looks like the affair is not a one night stand either. Who would it be with?
The most obvious candidate is Lee Hyun Ah. She was given scenes where she had to comment on how askew Park Sung Joon’s tie was, that she wanted to talk about what happened the previous night. She was also shown as if she was waiting for someone after receiving a text and at that moment Park Sung Joon texted someone.
But I think this was too obvious, I think what Lee Hun Ah wanted to talk about with Park Sung Joon was seeing him having some intimate moment with someone in the office the other night. She also had probably learned her lesson after her affair with Director Bae, which made her take a year off from work due to stress and humiliation. I don’t think she would repeat that in a hurry.
I think Park Sung Joon might be doing with Mi Na or Yoo Ri.
It might be Mi Na because Yoo Ri is already doing Vice President Ha. She went to his hotel room when both Mi Na and Lee Hyun Ah were seemingly waiting for someone.
During the earlier part of the drama, while Park Sung Joon and Na Jung Sun were in the car and passed a wooded area, Na Jung Sun asked him if he still remembers what he said when he proposed to her.
He said to her then that “No matter how hard it would get, he will never let go of her hand, he will always be on her side for the rest of his life.” Or something like that.
Na Jung Sun asked if this was still the case. He looked at her meaningfully and then said yes in a serious manner.
Despite his reply, Na Jung Sun can’t just trust him anymore.
One night after dining in a fine restaurant where they saw one of their VIP clients having an affair with someone else, Park Sung Joon seemed to think that it was the most natural thing which rather shocked Na Jung Sun.
She finally asked him if he was having an affair.
He just looked at her and did not say anything.
His silence made Na Jung Sun retract her serious question as just an inconsequential joke. But both of them stressed about her query.
Overnight, he had become a stranger. A fact she asked Mi Na if she had felt that someone she knew very well had turned into a stranger.
Mi Na said that we are all strangers, everyone keeps a secret.
Vice President Ha had invited everyone from the VIP section for some slap-up meal where drinks, lots of it, are aplenty.
Seeing that Na Jung Sun was drinking rather heavily and looked so sad, Park Sung Joon texted someone to meet up and discuss their situation.
He sent Na Jung Sun home alone in a taxi as he said that he will escort the inebriated Vice President Ha home.
Na Jung Sun told the taxi driver to turn back and to follow the taxi her husband had just gotten into.
She saw him getting off at Walker’s Hotel.
The taxi driver advised her that probably she was better off not knowing.
She went into the hotel and looked around for her husband. Not seeing him, she called him on his mobile.
He told her that he was currently with Vice President Ha and taking him home.
Suddenly they saw one another.
He was caught in the middle of his lies.

He seemed to have admitted to having an affair that happened by accident. What kind of accident? he fell on her naked body while he was in the nude as well?!!! LOL
Episode 3
omg! I first watched this episode unsubbed and I have to admit it was a blood-boiling experience. I did not know what was being said but Jang Nara’s facial expressions said it all. What a good actress with delicate facial expressions.
Anyway the end of episode 2, she caught her husband lying through this face.
He did confess immediately that he had an affair but it was over. He said that the encounter started more like an accident but he would not say anything more as it would only hurt her. Nice of him! He begged her that they cannot end just like that.
Na Jung Sun just asked the question of whether she knows the person he had an affair with.
He said, “no!”
This episode started on how they first met and eventually how they got together. She liked him at first sight because he seemed dependable and trustworthy. That was in December 2010.
She started suspecting both Hyun A and Mi Na because of circumstantial evidence. But it is really Mi Na that was on her radar.
She often sees them together and yet Mi Na said she had not been given a project.
One day, Park Sung Joon went out just after lunch saying he was going to a meeting. Immediately, Byung Hoon said that the meeting was for tomorrow.
Mi Na went as well saying that she was meeting advertisers,
Na Jung Sun followed her immediately and found her collecting her children from school. Mina saw her and asked why she was there.
She just said that she was passing by and saw Mi Na.
Mi Na said that she had trouble with childcare and she envies both Hyun A and Na Jung Sun for their confidence and freedom (from childcare obligation), she had been trying to get promoted in the last six years and she was hoping to get it this year.
Mi Na was again let down by her husband who was supposed to do the childminding so Mi Na can do overtime to finish her work but her husband said that he had to go to an obligatory work drink up.
Mi Na was already waiting for him when he got home, She had already pack her things ready to leaver her husband.
As her husband was hollering to let him in the bedroom, Mi Na was sending a text to Park Sung Joon, saying she was ready…
At that moment Na Sun Jung and Park Joon Sun were in a park talking about their situation.
Na Sun Jung clarified with him that his affair was over and that she does not know the other woman. She also asked if there were any likely bombshell to occur from his affair.
She then said that she was planning on forgiving him but she said he had to never talk about the affair, act as nothing had happened till the day he dies.
He was suitably grateful to her. Just behind him, the mobile phone had received a text.
BTW, when he left that lunchtime, he was meeting a private investigator who handed him a brown envelope.
Is he working with Mi Na so she can reveal the sexual shenanigans with the executives with their female employees?
Episode 4
Park Joon Sun was promised an executive position if his project comes into fruition but he was reminded that his reputation should be cleaner than clean.
He was really feeling guilty about his affair which Na Jung Sun can’t really come to terms just yet. (It takes three years to get over infidelity) so she was sensitive and would fly off the handle when she was not in the mood.
She sort of confessed to Hyun A that she was having a problem with Park Joon Sun.
Quickly Hyun Ah said to leave him.
This staggered NaJung Sun.
Hyun Ah elaborated that Na Jung Sun won’t leave her husband she understand that because it was her nature to just keep everything in inside of her, just keep taking things in.
Na Jung Sun, despite her promise to ignore the affair as if it did not happen, became more obsessed with it.
Her unlikely confidant is Mr Jang, who knew her father/family well. He goes riding motorcycle with her.
She had asked Mr Jang to get a private investigator for her to find out who sent the text to her phone.
Mr Jang came through for her. She found out that the text was sent online using her own computer at work.
She was surprised but more surprised seeing her husband in a rather intimate huddle with Hyun Ah.
Episode 5
It seemed Hyun Ah had Park Joon Sun in her radar first before Na Jung Sun met him.
Hyun Ah first met Park Joon Sun in university, when they were both members of the photographic club (or something) in June 2002.
Hyun Ah liked him immediately but she was not ready to settle down and me a one-man-woman. But she promised herself that he will be her last.
Fast forward 2019.
As we assumed from episode 4 that Hyun Ah was Park Joon Sun’s lover, well it turned out that Hyun Ah was actually rather a loyal friend to Na Jung Sun. She gave way to the love that developed between Na Jung Sun and Park Joon Sun because she knew that they suit each other.
Hyun Ah was at the end of her tether. She reached rock bottom and that was the time that Na Jung Sun found her husband trying to comfort an embarrassed and panicked Hyun Ah, which Na Jung Sun and viewers like me thought had guilt written all over it.
What happened was that Hyun Ah got tempted to thieving out of desperation. She ransacked the jewelry collection already ordered and paid for by the woman who died of a heart attack in prison.
But she got caught by Park Joon Sun when she tried to access his computer when she found out that the jewels were security tagged.
She had to confess and obviously became very distraught and that was when Na Jung Sun found them.
Na Jung Sun tried to run off but her husband went after her. Then Hyun Ah said she can clear things and started explaining things to Na Jung Sun.
Hyun Ah said that she can’t believe how Na Jung Sun could think that she was sleeping with Park Joon Sun.
Na Jung Sun confessed that she was having problems with her husband, he was seeing someone.
Hyun Ah asked why Na Jung Sun was telling it to her, she might be the other woman.
Na Jung Sun said that she doesn’t really care anymore, she just wants to tell someone otherwise she might burst.
Hyun Ah remembered the night she accidentally walked in when Park Joon Sun was with someone in his office. He did not see her but he she knew that he was with a woman, she did not see.
Out of curiosity, she waited outside the building to see who would come out.
Park Joon Sun drove off, then Yoo-Ri came out of the building and then Mi Na.
The plot thickens!
Mi Na was being recruited by the Marketing Department but in return, she had to spy on the VIP section while she was still there. Yoo-Ri overheard this little bit of information from the horse’s mouth of the marketing director.
There was also the side story where Park Joon Sun is secretly meeting Na Jung Sun’s mother who seemed to rely from him for money.
Episode 6
Na Jung Sun’s mother left her and her father when she was younger to run off with another man.
But from time to time she would come back to ask for money from her ex-husband and lately from Park Joon Sun.
Na Jung Sun instinctively knew that her mother asked her husband for money. And she shamed her mother.
Meanwhile, Na Jung Sun was in charge of showing around a Korean VIP from America. it was a pretty challenging task as the client has a mirror phobia which affected him greatly.
Mi Na found out that she was pregnant, who is the father of her baby? There was a tantalising scene where she was staring at Park Joon Sun.
Na Jung Sun had asked Park Joon Sun to talk about his affair, showing him the text she received.
She said that she did say that she would ignore it at first but she was obsessing about the identity of the woman. Now she wanted to know who she was?
Episode 7
He opted not to tell her. He chose to move out anyway.
Park Joon Sun was desperate to become one of the high ups so he did everything what the Vice President was telling him to do including breaking with a mistress on his behalf. Park Joon Sun did as he was told to do but he did feel sick to his stomach.
I think he was too ambitious he was willing to sacrifice his marriage and his wife’s peace of mind. Probably he believes that the end justify the means. He will confess to his wife that he was not really having an affair but covering a bigger one. He did negate when asked if he was having an affair.
He met up with someone and said that he cannot let his wife find out about who was he had an affair with? He said as it was his wife will not forgive him. He then said to wind up at side of things.
Anyway Na Jung Sun had had enough and the mystery woman in the affair is eating her up, so much so that she was determined more than ever to find out the truth, the woman behind the affair, knowing that it could really end her marriage.
Na Jung Sun went to a computer cafe and sent the same email to both MIna and Yoo Ri.
Her anonymous email said that she had to show up at the office at ten pm otherwise her colleagues at work will know that she was having an affair.
AT 10:pm, Na Jung Sun was stationed next to the lift to see who would come in.
It was Mi Na.
By the way, Mi Na had arranged for an abortion or did she?!!!
I hope the identity of the woman won’t be dragged for long because it would just be too frustrating and might end up being too clever and then boring.
Episode 8
It was the day of the fashion show which was followed by an auction from the super brand Trifone (or something) in collaboration with the VIP section.
As such it was attended by the super-rich of their super exclusive 99 Black Diamond VIP clientele. Apparently the 99 are so exclusive that they are given a number and number one in the top of the elitist elite which was a woman who is the CEO of a company that could influence government and industries in South Korea.
Anyway, the VIP had to make sure that all her wants and security are catered for including having private time and yet still being able to see how the action was going. It got a bit tricky because her husband came to the show with his mistress while Number 1 was with her idol boyfriend.
The VIP had a busy time arranging everything to the satisfaction of everyone.
Yoo-ri was advised to stay in the background because of the vice president and his wife were also about. But Yoo-ri ended helping a rich elderly guy in the wheelchair to find his table.
She was seen by the wife of the VP who subjected her to extreme humiliation of having a bottle of red wine poured all over her head.
The vice president saw what happened but told Park Joon Sun not to interfere.
It was Na Jung Sun who came to take Yoo-ri away and clean her up.
Mi Na was having a great time as her morning sickness had kicked in a big way due to the stress of her spying for the marketing department against her team. She ended up almost collapsed and had to seek medical attention.
Ma Sang Woo was a disaster waiting to happen. He was so incompetent he created so much mayhem that Na Jung Sun had to rectify.
Ma Sang Woo was the son of the foreign minister which he tried to keep from his team. Ma Sang Woo though was able to enter into Park Joon Sun’s computer and saw a video that he thought was just a little porn for boys. But he looked shocked and askance when he saw the content.
During the coach ride back to the company, he started noticing that Na Jung Sun and Park Joon Sun had no interaction at all for a husband and wife. Ma Sang Woo looked with pity at Na Jung Sun.
Now that the day’s activity was almost over, Na Jung Sun texted her husband that she will be waiting at a cafe for him to hear what he had to say as he had promised that he will tell her everything after the show.
Park Joon Sun saw the text and then he saw another one, asking to see him just this once.
Park Joon Sun did a u-turn and went to see Yoo-ri instead of his wife. (bastard!)
Episode 9
This is a bombastic episode. Lots of things happened.
It turned out Yoo Ri is not the lover of VP Ha but in fact, his daughter from a love affair when he was in university. He might not be her lover but he sent Park Joon Sun as a go-between with his daughter.
Park Joon Sun who was so helpful, helped himself from the meat little Yoo-ri offered on a plate. Once he had tasted her, he can’t get enough so much so that he told his wife of ten years that he wanted a divorce.
Yet still protected his young lover by not revealing who she was to Na Jung Sun.
But Na Jung Sun and quickly cotton on because Yoo-ri and Park Joon Sun were rather obvious with their stolen glances at one another.
Ma Sang Woo tried to protect Na Jung Sun from finding out about Yoori but he was ineffectual. He found out about the affair after he saw the video of Yoori cozying to Park Joon Sun in the lift.
I think now that Yoori sent the text herself to Na Jung Sun. She was quite good at a computer plus the fact that she wanted Park Joon Soon as soon as she saw him again in the basement supermarket of Sung Un department store with Na Jung Sun.
Her co-worker said that Park Joon Sun and Na Jung Sun were known as the golden couple, a blessed couple. That challenged Yoori to seduce him and it seemed Park Joon Sun was gagging for it. Bastard!
And Na Jung Sun confirmed the affair when looking into the black box of Park Joon Sun’s car. She saw the lovebirds all loved up with Yoori back hugging Park Joon Sun.
Finally, Park Joon Sun efforts for VP Ha had come to fruition. He had been promoted to an executive position.
He was being congratulated and then in walk, Na Jung Sun all fired up from what she just had learned from the black box and documentation that Park Joon Soon was paying for Yoori’s mother hospital confinement.
She extended her hand to congratulate him with a sweetly beatific smile on her face.
You just know that she would not let him get away from making fool out of her.
Exciting. Hwaiting, Na Jung Sun!!!
Episode 10
It was turning out that almost everyone at VIP knew that Park Joon Soon was sleeping with Yoo-ri.
Their emotional connection seemed to have started in April 2019.
Park Joon Soon the back story was revealed. He was a product of an affair, which he had in common with Yoori, which bonded them.
He thinks she gets him and he got her.
Then his father died. The existence of his father was never told to Na Jung Sun. He had maintained that he had died long ago.
During the funeral, he did try to ask Na Jung Sun if she wanted to go to the funeral with him but without mentioning that it was his father’s funeral.
He ended up being called later by Vice President Ha to look after Yoori as meet-my-bastard-daughter did not go well with his wife.
Park Joon Soon looked after Yoori and she seemed to know what words to get him going because he suddenly confessed secrets he never told his wife.
Yoori said that it was ok to cry. Death of his father is a major thing. Before you know it, she was all over him.
It was turning out that almost everyone at VIP knew that Park Joon Soon was sleeping with Yoo-ri.
Now Na Jung Sun will take her revenge.
She and Park Joon Soon were invited by VP Ha and his wife to dinner.
Park Joon Soon turned it down but Na Jung Sun other ideas. She said that she will tweak their diary to have dinner with them during the weekend.
Park Joon Soon had a valid cause for concern.
During the dinner, where VP Ha and wife brought in Yoo-ri as well as she was being polished to climb up the ladder of success, they were having dessert when Yoo-ri inadvertently revealed more than she should.
She warned Park Joon Soon that there was something in his dessert that he must not eat. It was nuts, he was allergic to nuts.
Everyone was uncomfortably stunned. VP Ha did try to lighten the moment by saying that Yoori and Park Joon Soon had become rather close because he tasked Joon Soon to look after his daughter.
Na Jung Sun was very precise and controlled by what she said. She told them that it seemed that Yoori and Park Joon Soon love each other.
VP Ha was shocked but still tried to minimise the bombshell. He made it sound like it was just a misunderstanding.
Na Jung Sun then brought out a printed copy of the photo she got from Park Joon Soon’s black box where YooRi was hanging on Park Joon Soon.
With the evidence, she presented she got up and excused herself. She was followed by Park Joon Soon who was very concerned.
She told him that he was going to lose everything because she was going to take him to hell with her.
I was right, the locked room in their house was a nursery.
Can’t wait for next week.
Episode 11
Na Jung Sun was about five months pregnant in September 2018. But not long after the much-longed-for baby girl her husband and she had wanted had a cardiac arrest in the womb.
They lost the baby and both grieved in different ways. Jung Sun locked herself in the baby’s room, often not letting her husband share her pain. She even started sleeping in the baby’s room leaving her husband alone in the marital bed.
And then in April 2019, he fell in love with Yoo-ri and started sleeping with her.
But at this time, Jung Sun had a mini informal counseling session with her cycling friend who used to be a psychiatrist. He told her that she might not be able to get over the loss of the baby, ever and if she continued being aloof with her husband, she might lose him as well. Her friend said that people have different ways of coping with grief, her husband who seemed not too overly grieved was more scared of losing her.
So Jung Sun made up her mind, she locked the baby’s room and went back sleeping in the marital bed until she found out about Yoo-Ri.
Vice President Ha had been carting his daughter along with him everywhere and he announced pointedly to the VIP team, especially to Jung Sun, that they were subordinate to Yoo-Ri. He had also instructed that Jung Sun would be transferred to Ulsan in the food department during the next staff reshuffle. Nasty guy, but he did get a little comeuppance when his sister had been appointed as the next chairman.
Park Sung Joon came to see Jung Sun for a talk. They talked about the loss of their baby. He blamed Jung Sun for pushing him away. She grieved alone and he was so lost. He said that he was also in bits with the loss of their baby.
Jung Sun was annoyed, she said he was unfeeling, he could have told her then.
But he said that it was no use as she had turned into a ghost.
She suddenly knew that her husband really loved Yoo-ri from the get-go and still loves her now. She told him to get out and he did.
He went directly to the funeral parlor to be with Yoori who was grieving the death of her mother. She piteously complained that she was now all alone in this world.
This was the cue for Park Sung Joon to hug her tightly as tell her tenderly that he will be in her side. Bastard!
I hope Jung Sun has her revenge. She might end up with a toyboy in Ma Sang Woo who had become really protective of her. Rather cute.
Or she could marry that rather psychologically disturbed rich man of Trifone. LOL
Episode 12
This episode centered mainly on sexual harassment in the workplace.
Min-ah confided in Hyun-ah that she was almost sexually abused by Director Bae the other day which traumatised her so much. She was just thankful that her husband found her.
Hyun-ah could not take it anymore because she was also almost raped by Director Bae which also so affected her she had to take a year sabbatical from work. So she took the matter into her own hands and posted online her ordeal with the habitual harasser, Director Bae, which attracted even the media.
It was not an easy task for Hyun Ah as she was gossiped about but it got found out that there were more women who suffered under Director Bae.
The Vice President’s sister had been appointed as the new president of the Sung Un. She wanted Pang Sung Joon to join forces with her as she heard that he was not as closed to the VP these days.
The Vice President found this out and told Park Sung Joon that he was his man and as an added inducement, he said he could have a proper relationship with Yoori as long as he divorces Na Jung Sun first.
Na Jung Sun went to see the VP and in front of Park Sung Joon, she told him that if she was being transferred to Ulsan because of Park Sung Joon and Yoori then she would not go without making any complaint. In fact, she said that she was going to reveal the affair between her husband and Yoori.
When the VP said that she was going to lose so much from it, Na Jung Sun said that she had lost everything and when you had reached that nadir, you are no longer scared of anything.
BTW, I guessed right, Yoori sent the text message about the affair herself.
This initially innocent looking girl was actually a spoilt girl without a conscience at all. What she wants she gets and then if she can’t she blames the unfairness of the world.
There is no going back with Na Jung Sun and Park Sung Joon. If they reconcile in the end, then that was just insane.
Episode 13
Na Jung Sun is determined to take Park Sung Joon down with her.
She saw red when she heard that it was Yoori herself who sent her the text of her husband’s infidelity.
She met up with Yoori and gave her a stinging slap.
Park Sung Joon saw what happened and went to help Yoori get up from the ground.
Now Na Jung Sun slapped her husband too. She told him that she knew he confiscated the incriminating CCTV to protect the silly cow, Yoori. Park Sung Joon felt guilty about it.
Anyway, Vice President Ha promoted his daughter into an executive position. Despite of her inexperience and lack of knowledge about office work, she had become the boss.
This was just too much for Na Jung Sun so she started plotting and affiliating herself with the new President of Sung Un.
The Vice President had been working on disbanding the VIP section and transfer their work with the marketing department.
She found this out when her project was to be supervised by the marketing department headed by Park Sung Joon.
Na Jung Sun was with Ma Sang Woo and Yoori when they saw Park Sung Joon waiting for them.
Na Jung Sun went to the rooftop restaurant which was temporarily closed off for the winter. She had trouble opening the door but she did manage it after a fashion.
Yoori followed her to tell her that she did not know anything about the marketing department having a look into the VIP project.
It started to rain heavily and Na Sung Jun realsied that they were trapped at the rooftop and were in danger on being rained on.
She alerted Ma Sang Woo on the phone of her situation.
After half an hour, Park Sung Joon, appeared with an umbrella. He stopped and taking stock of who to rescue from the rain between Na Jung Sun or Yoori,
Ma Sang Woo did not wait. He went to Na Jung Sun.
Park Sung Joon was about to go to Yoori when Cha Jin Ho pushed him aside so he could go to Yoori himself.
Cha JIn Ho later told off Park Sung Joon for not going to Na Jung Sun immediately, even for appearance’s sake only. It was the right thing to do.
Park Sung Joon said that he does not want to confuse Na Sung Jun. He wanted her to realise that it was really over between them.
Na Sung Jun realised this because she was now plotting her revenge. She went to the President of Sung Un to give her a proporal for the Black Society that would be in direct competition with the Prestige project which is being initiated by Vice President Ha.
The President liked it and had Na Sung Jun promoted as the lead for Black Society. Na Sung Jun will go head to head against Park Sung Joon.
Episode 14
Wow, this episode is another hectic one.
Let’s start it with a happier note.
Hyun Ah and Cha Jin Ho had finally become officially as a cute couple. Their flirtation was satisfying. Hyun Ah asked Cha Jin Ho to go out with her. You would think he would jump at the idea with both feet but he played it cool. He said he will think about it.
Hyun Ah was cooler, she said he should think about it.
He probably did his thinking in less than half an hour because when they were walking out of the club, he held on to her hand as lovers would do. Awwww
Now the more stressful bits.
Mi Na had handed in her notice to Na Jung Sun. She had decided to be a stay-at-home mum to look after her two boys and the coming baby. But Mi Na is still doubtful about her decision. Her husband had learned his lesson. He is a new man. Very supportive and protective of Mi Na.
Prestige and Black Society are collaborating as a task force to make a final choice of the top 99 VVIP members. AT first Park Sung Joon had declared that the Marketing department will do the final selection of the VVIP but Na Jung Son immediately contradicted him by saying that the VIP team has more info out the VIPs.
It turned out that there was a mystery woman, who was a member of the VIP whom the VIP team had not really seen nor had dealings with before.
Park Sung Joon tried to say that the woman was based abroad.
Na Jung Son, however, got even more curious.
She later found out that the woman was an old mistress of VP Ha.
She had this confirmed by VP Ha’s wife who said that the reason why VP Ha can’t let go of Park Sung Joon was that Park Sung Joon had been dealing with the many mistresses of VP Ha. When it was time to pay them off, Park Sung Joon was the go-between.
It also came out that there was something fraudulent about the whole thing. For inheritance purposes, VP Ha had been buying and transferring shares from borrowed names (from the mistresses). The shares are then managed by Park Sung Joon.
VP Ha’s wife said that if Na Jung Son chose to reveal everything, that would be the end for Yoori and Park Sung Joon.
Na Jung Son was slightly taken aback by VP Ha’s wife’s suggestion.
When Na Jung Son said that VP Ha will be in trouble too, the wife just smiled vindictively.
Na Jung Son saw Park Sung Joon at the corridor, She looked at him as if she never knew him at all. He was not an upright and trustworthy man that she thought she had married.
Park Sung Joon was looking at her rather wistfully as well as what his mother had said to him was still fresh in his mind.
His mother said that when Park Sung Joon first introduced Na Jung Son to her, she was ecstatic because her son found a lovely and kind-hearted woman. She was also relieved to note that Park Sung Joon looked like he found his world in Na Jung Sun. Cheating and divorcing Na Jung Son meant that he had lost his world and for what? Just to satisfy an emotional high, which he thought was love but actually due to the excitement and exhilaration from cheating.
Meanwhile, Ma Sang Woo had been revealed as the son of the Minister of Foreign Affairs (or something). He was beginning to be noticed as having a massive crush on Na Jung Sun.

Episode 15
Na Jung Son realised that she did not know Park Sung Joon at all. She was shocked that he was involved in fraudulent transactions working for the Vice President. He created false accounts under his name and also the VP’s ex-mistress to buy shares to be used in a take-over.
When she saw him in the corridor, she looked at him and not quite really seeing her old husband anymore.
Park Sung Joon was rather unhappy himself after going to another of the VP’s drink up. He got so drunk, he mistakenly gave his old address to the taxi driver.
He was standing in front of his marital house when nostalgia took over him. He remembered how happy and looking forward to a new life with Na Jung Son together in their brand new house. She loved him so much and promised to create a home where no one is unhappy.
He was just leaving when he saw Na Jung Son just returning from the shop. He told her that he was so drunk, he gave the wrong address to the taxi.
She told him to leave as he was not welcome anymore. She also added that she thought he was at least not a completely a bad man but now she thought otherwise.
She had not taken off her trenchcoat when there was a knock on the door. It was her mother-in-law, who came to beg her to give her son another chance. She said that he will be lost without her. She then confessed that it was her fault why her son behaved abysmally. She was a mistress and her son a product of an affair. They tried to break another family.
This was a complete news to Na Jung Son. She realised she did not know him at all.
Yoori found out that Park Sung Jon ended up at his old address and she started thinking the worse.
The next day was another big VIP shindig.
Yoori could not ait to confront Na Jung Son about the later giving Park Sun Joon a divorce.
Na Jung Son cut her off and told her never mentioned the matter again as it has none of her business.
Na Jung Son was just taking a breather when she heard a guest was out of control,
Sang Woo was trying to calm the guest who was an alcoholic who had too much to drink.
The guest started shoving Sang Woo.
Na Jung Son intervened and got pushed down the stairs for her trouble.
Sang Woo went down to see how she was but Park Sung Joon pushed him out of the way.
Yoori was pulmonating with jealousy which made her step-mother smirked.
Yoori got more upset when the ambulance arrived and Sung Joon declared that he was the patient’s husband. He went with Na Jung Son in the ambulance and kept a vigil while she was unconscious.
Episode 16
When Na Jung Son came out of the hospital she was asked by the president to go work with her closely like Sung Joon to the Vice President. She can then exact revenge on her husband.
Na Jung Son turned down her offer. She said that she would be happy to stay in her position. She said that she did not have an appetite for revenge.

This in mind, she went to meet her mother and they made up. Her mother said that she had so much regret with what she had done. She said Park Sung Joon would be regretting what he had done as well.
When she got back home, she called her husband to come to collect the rest of his things. They had a heart to heart and said all the things that were left unsaid. She then gave him her signed divorce paper.
He was unpacking the boxes back at his apartment when he saw one of his cameras still had a film on it.
He had it developed. He was looking at the photos of Na Jung Son when all of a sudden he had an uncontrolled emotional outburst. He was sobbing.
Anyway as to the rest of the characters:
Mi Ri was surprised by her family of boys with a declaration that she was the best mom and as such she had to do whatever that would make her happy. If she wanted to back to work after she had the baby, then they will support her decision.
Hyun Ah and Jin Ho are so loved up that they had decided to live together. Jin Ho was so ecstatic that he gifted her a lovely necklace and earring set.
Then Yoori, she went aboard, again alone and very sad. No one saw her at the airport. When she called her father, they had a very brief and perfunctory conversation.
As to Song Wa, he had turned into a seriously dedicated employee, he was so serious he was rather over-the-top training an intern at VIP.
Because of the scandal that beset the family, the Chairman reorganised the company. The VP was told to lie low for a few years and then the chairman will reevaluate the situation.
The VP was told by his wife that as he was no longer the VP, her wealthy family had given her permission to divorce him. The VP was so shocked. He said she was the only one he has got. She just looked at him and said that at last, she was the only one in his life.
After a few months, Na Jung Son met Park Sung Jun at a funeral. They had a heart to heart and Sung Jon told his ex-wife that she was looking well.
Jung Son told him that she does not regret having met him or having married him. She was happy with him for at least ten years.
He thanked her and said he was too.
She then said ”Be well’
He knew that was goodbye. So he said, “You too”
Then she walked away!
A very satisfying and fitting ending.
