Adam, Progenitor of Mankind

I’ve heard it mentioned before about Adam’s ale, I did not pay much attention but now got curious to know what it is. How did Adam know how to brew ale, being the first man? Did God brew ale for Adam’s intoxication?

Obviously not, so Adam’s ale must be water – plain water.

I asked my husband who has been known to drink ale now and again. He confirmed that Adam’s ale was indeed water – just old fashioned water of the H2O kind.

Adam’s rib is the euphemism for woman.  It was from Adam’s rib that a woman was created from according to Genesis’s story of creation.

Adam’s curse refers to human labour; why we have to work for a living.  The curse was Adam’s punishment from eating the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge.

Adam’s apple is that lump protruding by the thyroid in a man’s throat.  Apparently it was a piece of the apple from the Tree of Knowledge, that got stuck in Adam’s throat. 🙂

Water – H2O Facts

water

Did you know?

I am sure you already know that the Earth is full of water. But did you know that 99 per cent is either sea water or frozen water from the icecaps.

Only .3 per cent of the Earth’s water is fit for human consumption, available for plants and animals and to support life on land.

It does make you think!!!

One of the best and cheapest anti-ageing product there is, is running straight to your tap.  Drinking plenty of water is hydrating yourself from within, which makes your skin looks less tired.

Intake of water also allows for boosts in concentration, energy level, as well as flushing out toxin from within the body.

Drinking sparkling water is as good as drinking still water.  Studies have shown that carbonated water has no adverse effect to the digestive system.  They have not found any correlation to thinning of bone density in women.

Water boiling slowly has the same temperature as when boiling rapidly, and will do just the same amount of work; there is, therefore, no object in wasting fuel to keep water boiling violently.
