Episode 1

I really wanted to see this drama as soon as it was released but they I saw the gorgeous face of Godfrey Gao and I just can’t at that time.  I was just too upset to watch the drama just 6-7 months after his untimely death.  Such a waste of talent.

Anyway, the story is a look-in into the Chinese entertainment business.

Mo Xiang Wan is an agent for Qili Culture.  She is so busy, she has no time for herself.

It was another busy day, actually busier than usual.  Her talent, Lin Xiang, had left a suicide note on her Weibo account.  When she sent Lin Xiang’s assistant to go check on her, they found her unconscious.  She told them not to take Lin Xiang to the hospital but do every possible way to make Lin Xiang sick.  In her worry, she bumped into a car when she drove her car.  As time was of the essence to see Lin Xiang, she did not wait for the car owner but drove away.

Lin Xiang was ok but very upset about not being allowed to die.  Mo Xiang Wan told her that if she had died, Luo Feng, the guy she was killing herself for would not be even sad.  If she was really upset then she could retire but she had to pay the company and all the endorsements penalty first.  This changed Lin Xiang’s mind.

Mo Xiang Wan got a call from the police for hit and run.  What she did not realise was that the car she bumped into was owned by Mo Bei, her former boyfriend.
