Plot Summary
I like this drama. It has plenty of sweetness and romance. Very watchable.
Qin Shi finally had had enough of her five years secret marriage to top actor An Ke Yang especially when he openly thanked his manager during his acceptance speech in an award ceremony.
Though they share the same manager, Ke Yang’s career is soaring while hers is in a doldrom.
Qin Shi, An Ke Yang and Wan Ning grew in the same neighbourhood. Qin Shi was just beginning to get popular abroad when both An Ke Yang and Wan Ning convinced her to go back to China.
Wan Ning became their manager. Qin Shi used her resources to uplift An Ke Yang’s work as an actor. Meanwhile, Wan Ning had subtly sabotaged Qin Shi’s career over the years because she had a hidden agenda. She wanted An Ke Yang for herself.
Qin Shi was originally a popular idol, she loves dancing the most but Ke Yang wanted her to branch out into acting just like him. Wan Ning then created a cp for Qin Zhi which did not help Qin Zhi’s path to stardom at all. She also has to abide to all Ke Yang’s rules like no skinship with other actors so her choices in her career is limited.
She divorced him quietly and got herself a new manager who promptly signed her up to a variety show about newlyweds.
Qin Shi was to act out as a newly married couple with the internationally renowned and influential Chen Si. Their show was a hit as everyone were rooting for them as their chemistry and looks are exponentially exciting.
An Ke Yang who was also part of the show as a panelist began to appreciate what he had lost. It had been a long time since he saw Qin Shi shines so bright.
He tried to reconnect with her but it was too late. Qin Shi had found her real niche and the person she really wanted to be with.
Chen Si contrary to An Ke Yang, openly admitted that he was really into Qin Shi. Despite his sasaeng fans’ displeasure, he said that it was a case of love at first sight when he met Qin Shi abroad seven years ago. She was so vibrant then and he lost his heart to her.
It turned out, he had been secretly watching over her during the last seven years and when he had the chance, he actually secretly produce the variety show himself.
Aww. so cute. Chen Si is gorgeous, well they all are.
