I came across Celestine Chua’s website and there was an article about a ‘bucket list’.

What is a bucket list, you might want to know?  Well, apparently it is a list of your goals, dreams, wishes, and experiences you want to achieve before Mr. Death comes to claim you. eeckkkks

The term bucket comes from an English idiom,  to kick the bucket,  meaning to die.

This bucket list appeals to me and I thought at the ripe old age of 50, I  have not really lived yet and I think it is about time that I get started before it is too late.

I would like to create my own bucket list of 100 things I hope to accomplish within my lifetime.  I will be adding things to my bucket list from time to time as I don’t really know what needs to go in there yet.

But as a starter:

  1. Visit Paris – Done
  2. Visit Rome and the Vatican City – Done
  3. Fly to the Philippines on Business/First Class.  done 2012/2013
  4. Visit Boracay Island.
  5. See Mayon volcano, which is so supposed to be a wonder of the world with its perfect cone.
  6. Go to Baguio City and visit the rice terraces
  7. Have tea at the Ritz, London done 15 November 2016
  8. Have dinner at the Savoy – Done
  9. Go shopping in New York and see Ellis Island
  10. See the White House in Washington DC
  11. Have supper at Hotel Shangrila – Manila
  12. Go skinny dipping. lol
  13. Go scuba diving Philippines Feb 2016
  14. Go parachuting
  15. Ride the Gondola in Venice
  16. Visit the Great Wall of China
  17. Travel by train throughout America
  18. Take the Siberian Express
  19. Visit St Petersburg/Moscow
  20. Have tea with the Queen of England (attend one of her garden parties)
  21. Learn to ride a bicycle
  22. Watch a professional ballet performance
  23. To lose weight and be a small size 10 or 8. (never going to happen)
  24. To live in a tidy house. (one day!)
  25. Have eye laser surgery so I can get rid of my reading glasses
  26. Visit Rio de Janeiro
  27. Stay at Jumeirah Beach Hotel/Dubai
  28. Visit Mexico
  29. Watch opera at the La Scala in Milan
  30. Learn to play the piano (I have got the piano, learning is another matter)
  31. Learn ballroom dancing: waltz, tango, cha-cha, etc
  32. Write and publish a book
  33. Own my own ranch
  34. Win big in the lottery
  35. Watch a concert at the O2 (former Millenium Dome) Went to see JLO at the O2
  36. Go to Cologne in Germany to visit the cathedral where the relics of the magi were supposed to be kept.
  37. To go for pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
  38. To learn more about Jose Rizal, being early Overseas Filipino. Wish to go to Calamba Laguna to see his birthplace.
  39. Get a kosher Chanel Bag.
  40. Have fun mingling with trekkies in one of their conventions. LOL
  41. Visit M&M World at Leicester Square
  42. See Pink in Concert
  43. See Spandau Ballet in concert!
  44. Attend a Last Night of the Prom!
