Sun Setting in North West London
I just love these photos taken by our official photographer PH Morton. These panoramic views were taken over the allotment in North London as the sun was setting this late evening.
I love the composition of the photos; they remind of the ancient form of a Japanse art called Screen Painting.
In the first photo, the cloud doubled up as a mountain.
The second one has that icy blue stillness as if no one dared to move or make any sound.
The third photo could have been taken in Africa. Wow!
It is so beautifully arresting. It makes you appreciate the wonders of nature. It is such a shame that we do not put more effort in enjoying this kind of natural beauties in our surrounding. We’d rather be inside focused on the television or computers, in my case – both 🙁
