Watch this drama and you will surely fall in love with the lead actor, Yang yang.  And I am afraid you will question the reason why he was not cast as the lead in the film version?!!!

This drama is one of the cutest amongst its genre.

It is about two impossibly gorgeous individuals who fell in love in a story within a story.  Confusing?

Well, to start with Xiao Nai (Yang Yang) was the elite of their university.  He is not only a genius, he is athletic as well, but most importantly he is gorgeous.  He is perfection.  He is adored by all the girls.

But he is so focus on building his gaming company.  He is building an internet gaming system (I think)

Anyway, one time he was in consultation with an internet cafe owner, he noticed a girl’s fingers elegantly clicking the keyboard at a smoking hot speed.  The attraction to the fingers was instant.  He fell in love.  (as one does) 🙂

Unfortunately, he did not see the girl’s face but he had noticed what game she was playing and her gaming name.

The girl with the light speed fingers was of course Bei Weiwei (Sheng Shuang)

Watching this drama is rather informative to those young entrepreneurs.  Creating a business is not about clicking a few keys to make a game.  It involves hard slog.  That is why I heard that you have to love and believe in your business to make it successful.  Being half-hearted about it, won’t work.

Anyway, I digress. Bei Weiwei plays a wuxia kind of game.  She was married to someone in the game but ceremoniously divorced so the husband can marry someone who was prettier than her, so he thought.

Bei Weiwei, was ok about it, not happy but resigned.  Until she was approached by the best in the Wuxia game, who happens to be Xiao Nai.  He proposed that they team up together as husband and wife in the game and will give her a sumptuous wedding (this all in the game).  Bei Weiwei and Xiao Nai got on very well during their games that they start having deeper feelings for each other and resolved to meet up for real.

And start the cutest courtship ever.  Yang yang…..

Watching again on 17 January 2022.

Love this drama.  A real classic and this episode is my favourite.  The first time that they really ‘met’ finally knowing who each other was.  So cute

*It was also the basketball game where Xiao Nai let everyone know that he was into and dating Wei Wei.

She told his teamate that she was Wei Wei, Reed Wei Wei online.  They were surprised and very impressed.

Xiao Nai found out that there is a ranking for school beauties and Wei Wei was only second so he deleted the site.
