Episode 1

Nan Qiao is a designer of drones,  She is also the president of her company which is rather short of funds.

She was given a business card and an instruction to meet up with a couple of potential investors in a club called the Lucid Dream.

While on her way to the bar, she encountered a rather dapper man in conversation with some rather suspicious characters.  She was in the process of asking them direction to the bar when their conversation escalated into a full-blown fight.

The handsome well-dressed man was against 6 or 8 men.  With his almost balletic style of moves and skill, he easily defeated the men.

Anyway, Nan Qiao was able to find the elevator herself and run to it.  But the handsome man got in before it closed.

The lift stopped on the 16th floor.  The handsome man was the bar owner. He is Shi Yue.

He was very interested in Nan and her companions especially when he noticed how drunk she was getting.

In the end he bundled her into his car and took her home.

The next morning, she woke up in her apartment with Shi Yue still around.  He had been very nosy and looking at her notes about her work.

Some very mild flirting/fighting ensued; Shi Yue left after asking Nan to right an IOU for throwing up in his expensive car.

Outside Shi Yue contacted someone and instructed that the two men last night drinking with Nan in the bar must not invest in her company at any term.

Shi Yue also found out that her boyfriend and business partner is cheating on her.  She saw him with another woman and asked him to break up.
