Love’s Lies (Chinese Drama Review & Summary)
Episodes 1-4
It started with Tan Dou Dou being late at work again.
The receptionist handed her a small package, which upon quick inspection came from an ex-boyfriend.
She opened the package and found a small blue teddy bear. Before she can puzzle it out why she was receiving a teddy from an ex, a posse of plain clothes policemen including Qiao Liang, put her under arrest when they found a small packet of methamphetamine sawn in the teddy’s tummy.
On the way to the station, she was able to get away when the police car crashed into another car.
Dou Dou quickly went to find the ex-boyfriend.
Her ex is Jin Yuan, who is now a prosperous president of an auction house. Jin Yuan was to marry her seven years but he did not show up during the ceremony.
They did not have any contacts as he seemed to have vanished into thin air.
When they finally met, they still have that frisson that lovers do. But Dou Dou was so upset for being implicated with drug dealings, she was not very friendly towards the gorgeous Jin Yuan.
Jin Yuan kidnapped her and kept her in the mountain, guarded by his right hand man and good friend.
But Dou Dou thinking that Jin Yuan is going to be doing more drug dealings, contacted the police using her guard’s notebook while he was sleeping.
Dou Dou was rescued and begged the police to arrest Jin Yuan immediately before the 27th, when a major drug trafficking was to occur. She does not want Jin Yuan to be arrested with more than 50grams of drugs (which would mean death penalty for sure).
I have to admit that I really enjoyed this drama. The four episodes just went by too quickly. They were well executed and the script is thrilling.
Hope more episodes are subbed soon.
Is true a part two they they will suppost to do it I watched this year 2021 and the ending is very heartbreaking they suffered so much for the ending to be a part with a child? Not good I didn’t liked the ending . But I don’t know if they are going to do it because is already gone 3 years is so unfair and disappointing. I hope they will think about it . Was a very good drama with a very good story is a shame they didn’t have a good ending for it and make fans to be anxious if will be a second part
The gap had been too long so I am not sure there will be a part two. But then who knows? They might pick it up again but with different actors playing the same roles.
I agree not happy with the ending. There needs to be a part two.
I’ve watched all of it already and I think they should do part II for them. It’s so hearbreaking seeing them part like that and plus they have a child. 🙁
