Apparently this story will revolved around Fuyao, who had been destined to collect the secret order of the five kingdoms.

I love the cast.  Two of my favourites: Yang Mi and Taiwanese actor, Ethan Juan.  I have to say watching and waiting for subbing of 66 episodes is a bit punishing.

Episode 1

The first episode proves that this drama will be an interesting one.  There are already plenty of intrigues.

Fuyao is a young girl who is from a lowly rank.  She was actually a servant girl with lofty ambition.

Time and again she would break the rules of the Xuanyou Division.  She often questions the elder servant why life was so unfair.  Why there were ranks and only those in the upper echelon can enjoy the finer things in life.

Fuyao, was a great favourite of the young master of the Xuanyou sect.  Everytime she does another misdemeanor, he would overlook it or cover for her.  This has been going on since they were young children.

One day Fuyao was transporting rice in a horse-drawn cart when she run over a man being hunted down by an army of soldiers.

It turned out that the man was the illigetimate  son of the king of Taiyuan Kingdom, who had just died (murdered actually)

Episode 2

Fuyao wanted the rare flower that grew in the Forbidden cliff to cure her beloved pig.  But just before she could pluck the flower, it was taken by Wu Ji, the heir to the king of Taiyuan Kingdom.

Fuyao though knew that he was an impostor because she saw the face of the man she run over and it was definitely not him.

Fuyao was also heartbroken because Master Yan has now promised to be married to a high ranked woman.  As much as he likes Fuyao, he likes ranks and prestige even more.

Master Yan assured Fuyao that he will always look after her.  Though he can’t marry, she will always have his heart.  He further told her that when everything is settled, he will make her as his concubine and she will cease being a slave and will live in the lap of luxury.

All the heartbroken Fu Yao could say is ‘Thanks but NO Thanks!’

However these are not the end of her troubles in this episode, a mutant water buffalo started chasing her and Wu Ji.

Episode 3

The Warrior Hunt has began and someone put forward Fu Yao to be one of the contestants despite her weak martial arts training.

Fuyao won the first trial and because of this, it created much strife, which almost costs her her life.

Episode 4

Winning the first tournament by an amateur fighter, it was seen as if Fu Yao was making a mockery of the whole thing.

They made up some reason to punish her.

The punishment was a very severe one.  They sent her to the Realm of Nothingness, anyone who goes there never comes out again.

Wu Ji seems to have extra-ordinary powers.  He went to the Realm of Nothingness from the other end to save Fu Yao who was now in case in ice.  He saved her and he note that she has a very resilient spirit; anyone would have been dead from being frozen and crystallised.

Pei Yan rescued Fu Yao was prison so she can kill Fu yao herself.  She thinks that it was better for Master yan (Yan Jing Chen) to pine for a dead Fu Yao than a living one.

Fuyao did not really try to save herself because by doing so her ‘brother’ will be killed first.

Fuyao was falling and falling from a great height which would have meant death.  But Wu Ji was there to save her.  She saw her little brother falling not long after her.  She was just able to hold on to him.

She was so annoyed that she confronted Pei Yan and they had a massive fight.  She slashed on Pei Yan’s face.

Pei Yan was forever disfigured.

Episode 9

Wu Ji and Fuyao parted ways as she will be safer without him.

Fuyao was heading to the capital with her trusted little ‘brother’

Along the way they met General Zhan Bei Ye.

Master Yan is getting ready to marry the disfigured Pei Yan, who overheard that she will be killed once her usefulness is redundant!

Episode 10

Fuyao saved General Ye (Zhan Bei Ye) from almost drowning.  Though he was suitably grateful, he won’t let her go because he suspects her for taking his precious englobement bell. 🙂

Episode 11

Fuyao entered Taiyuan Kingdom, which has a bustling capital.  Apparently living within the walls of the capital is rather perilous for the citizen due to the danger of flooding.but Taiyuan Kingdom controls the water network throughout the five kingdom.

Fuyao made a friend with Ya Lanzhu, who has a deep one-sided love with the General.  To discourage Ya Lanzhu, he pretended that he has his eyes on another woman already and it was Fu Yao.

This made Ya Lanshu jealous and annoyed with Fu Yao.

The General does make a pretty handsome second male lead.

Episode 13

Fuyao tagged along with the General and Ya Lanzhu to enter the capital.  Fu Yao was determined to find her little brother, Seven.

In the capital, alost the first one she encountered was Pei, who was in an e extreme vengeful mood.

Pei was ready to have FuYao’s killed but Wuji intervened.

Episode 14

The King is dead.  The story revealed  that the royal doctor was the real heir apparent. But there is another one, a transgender (a girl wanting to be a boy), who was standing as the heir apparent because they had the royal doctor’s whole family killed.  They thought he was killed too.

the ambitious prime minister kidnapped the transgender and with the mystical ritual using the englobement bell, he transferred her essence into him.
