Quick Precis:

The boyfriend is not completely robotic, he is still organic. LOL . He is more bionic rather than robotic.  Story really is about a bionic man falling in love.

How he became robotic or bionic?  Apparently he was a medical student who met an almost fatal accident.  In order for him to function as normally as he could be his scientist father reconstructed part of his body by implanting some mechanical enhancement.

Episode 1

Li Mo Bai is a young intern doctor who showed great foresight and ability in being a doctor.  This was proven when a team of medics answered a car pile-up which could have been made worse if Li Mo Bai did not calmly used a drone to move a live wire to safety.

Mao Xiaotong played another annoying girl once again.

She is Jiang Meng Yan, a new graduate in the field of journalism.

Before starting in her new job, she had a school reunion with her uni-friends.

They drank and drank until they were all drunk.

Jiang Meng Yan and her friend were on their way home.

While Jiang Meng Yan was trying to look for a taxi or something, her friend collapsed.

It so happened that Li Mo Bai was passing by and went to see to the girl writhing on the ground.

He asked the girl if he could undo the button of her jeans to make her more comfortable.

She agreed and while he was unbuttoning her jeans, a drunk Jiang Meng Yan pulled him away and would not let him explain what he was doing.

In her mind he was a pervert, despite him tyring to tell her that she could kill her friend.  He jumped on his back and tried to strangle him.

He finally managed to hold off her hand which was pummeling him.  He then called an ambulance.

At the hospital, Jiang Meng Yan continued to be a nuisance to Li Mo Bai, causing him a deep scratch on his face.

The police came and warned Jiang Meng Yan.  They asked Li Mo Bai if he wanted to press charges against Jiang Meng Yan.

After the friend had been settled, Li Mo Bai decided to leave followed by Jiang Meng Yan.

Outside they parted but Jiang Meng Yan almost got assaulted by two men so Li Mo Bai had to take responsibility for her.

She cannot be stopped she was going beserk so Jiang Meng Yan shoved her in a fountain to sober her up.

And when she was sobered, she thought she was in love.

She was just so annoying so Jiang Meng Yan put her in a taxi as fast as he could.

The next morning she called a friend in the hospital to asked if she had seen the most perfect handsome doctor.

He friend said she was now just looking at him.

It seems, Jiang Meng Yan’s father is a scientist and was a client of Jiang Meng Yan’s mother who works in technology.
