Episode 1
Sheng Xia is a fashion designer who aspires to make it big.
Unfortunately, some unforeseen circumstances seemed to prevent her from getting there.
Despite that, she was not ready to give up.
Finally, she got an invitation to showcase her design in a fairly well known fashion show.
But before she can get busy doing a show-stopping outfit as her piece de resistance, her boyfriend, Shen Kai, showed up to invite her out to celebrate their three years anniversary.
Her boyfriend was gorgeous and generous. He reminded her of their pact that on their third anniversary that if they were still lovingly together then they would get married.
In the restaurant, her boyfriend as excited and nervous. He asked the waiter to bring in the dessert.
It was actually a box containing what supposed to be an engagement ring, but it was empty.
It turned out the Sheng Xia sabotaged the engagement by stealing the ring herself because as much as she loves her boyfriend, she was not ready to settle down.
Meanwhile, in the Bronx, Xu Tian was busy helping the down and out get out of really serious trouble. I am not sure yet whether he was really a bonafide lawyer, but, he was helping the poor by being their lawyer. And he was rather successful at it using a natural cunning ability as well as cockiness.
On the night of the fashion show, Xu Tian was running late because of last-minute change in her design.
She was driving her car on that rainy night when she ended up near an abandoned warehouse and her left front tire got stuck in the mud. It was impossible to move.
Unfortunately, her mobile phone had run out of juice and she had also seemed to have misplaced her charger. She has no way to call for help.
Then entered Xu Tian who was carrying out a mannequin out of the van. From afar, the mannequin looked like a woman.
Sheng Xia got so frightened especially when Xu Tian noticed that she was in trouble.
He approached her with a spade, which he dragged behind him just like in horror (serial killer) movies.
When he asked her if she has a problem and tried to open her car door, she grabbed her electric iron and bashed him in the head.
At the fashion show, everything went well. Her assistant, Xiao Duo, was able to work alone. Shen Kai was there waiting worriedly with a bunch of roses.
The next scene was Xu Tian waking up in the hospital with Sheng Xia bending down on top of him exclaiming happily that at last, he was awake.
Xu Tian fell in love. He honestly thought that she was his girlfriend or wife and he was happy.
But not for long because his real girlfriend, Selina, turned up with Hank, the policeman.
Xu Tian would not believe Selina that she was his girlfriend. He tried to hold on to Sheng Xia, who said that she had never met him before.
Anyway, Sheng Xia, thinking that Xu Tian was now safe in hand, sneaked out.
She was surprised that Xu Tian had followed her. He said that they were actually married. He partly lost his memory but still remember her but they had to work on her memory because she seemed to have complete amnesia.
She was back in her shop when the police came to arrest her.

Seline was the one who reported Sheng Xia to the police for attempted murder.
Episode 3
Sheng Xia ended up in prison because Xu Tian got annoyed by Sheng Kai’s treatment of him.
Episode 4
While Sheng Xia was in prison, Kevan went to her shop/house. He wanted to know from Xiao Dou why Sheng Xia refuses to receive money from him, even turning down help for bail money and she would rather stay in jail.
Kevan then asked if there was alcohol in the house.
Apparently Kevan was an alcoholic but this situation with Sheng Xia was stressing him so much. He can’t understand why she would not commit to a marriage with him when they have agreed that if in three years they were still together then they would get married.
Xiao Dou helped Keven get into Shen Xia’s bed as he was too drunk to go home. While she was helping him, he hug her.
Xiao Dou felt something for Keven.
Anyway, the next morning, Keven behaved as if nothing had ever happened.
Meanwhile Xiao Dou was left alone in the shop and a customer came in to buy the Stephen dress that was not for sale.
But Xiao Dou agreed to sell at $30K
