Charcoal For BBQ

It is that time of year again, the sun is out which means barbecuing is the only way to go.

Mind you, barbecuing is the last thing on your mind today as it is windy though the sun is shining.

Though electric and gas barbecues are widely and popularly available, there is still something romantic, nostalgic and bonding about using charcoal lit portable barbecues.

As we are still in lockdown, though it was now easing, we need charcoal delivered to us.

I used to get packs of it at Argos but they have sold out.

I tried Tesco.  Though I was able to reserve two packs that were reasonably priced when I checked my order, Tesco had automatically deleted my charcoal order because they were sold out.  I was gutted. 🙁

I tried Homebase, though they have them, they don’t deliver.

My last hope was Amazon.  Yep they do have lots of coal as very staggeringly expensive prices but beggars can’t be choosers.

I ordered them yesterday and was told that it would be delivered between 2-5 of June but I got an email today from Amazon advising me to expect the delivery today.

Wow.  Once again Amazon delivers!!!
