Episode 1 & 2
Gao Zhen He was young, arrogant gem explorer/merchant who had a rare and much sought after emerald in his possession.
He was being pursued by another faction who was after the emerald.
He was driving really fast when he went directly in the eye of a thunderstorm.
When he came to, he was being looked after by Xing Yue (Queen Sulixi) of the Star River Tribe, a very matriarchal tribe. The women ruled which Gao Zhen He found rather quaint.
Xing Yue was a very forward girl and told Gao Zhen that he was now hers.
When He declined, he found himself suspended in a cage. So, in the end, he pretended to give in and be with her forever. He was excited when he found out that Xing Yue was left by her mother with a huge star sapphire what he reckoned would costs ten of millions.
He decided to acquiesce to everything Xing Yue say and then he will escape at the earliest opportunity.
His plan was to go through the cave where there is a high magnetic field that could bring him back to civilisation.
So he told Xing Yue that he was willing to marry her. So during the eve of the wedding, he asked Xing Yue if they will be drinking wine?
Xing Yue brought him to the food warehouse when he put sleeping pills into the vat of wine.
The wedding ceremony was in progress…
Episode 3
But when the tribe woke up the next morning, the groom was nowhere to be found.
Xing Yue was incandescent with rage as she had been fooled by Gao Zhe He and he ran off with her stone star.
One of the elders of the village helped her to get to the other side of the mountain through the cave. She was told that the cave is they went into ‘civilation’ but it could also lead to the death of the tribe so she must not reveal where she came from.
Meanwhile, Gao Zhe Ha realised that he would not talk about where he had been in the last fifteen days because he will put the tribe in danger especially when more people find out about the star sapphire he acquired.
The first person Yin Xue met when she got to the other side of the mountain was Hi Tian, a popular astrology web-vlogger.
Hi Tian could not believe that he had found the girl, the answer to his prayers.
He asked the girl who was responsible for her and she gave him one of Gao Zhe Ha’s business cards.
Episode 4
Xing Yue found Gao Zhen He. He was forced to take her home where he fed her a huge creamy cake which made her hyperactive and thrashed his place. She was so surprised when the television went on, she shot it with her crossbow.
Gao Zhen He told her that she has to behave calmly because his society is different from hers. They don’t use crossbow at every turn.
Episode 5
Xing Yue was trying to get used to living in a modern world and she was finding it confusing and tiresome as she has a very keen hearing and could hear people talking all the time and she was finding it had to get to sleep.
This was absolutely problematic for Gao Zhe He as he was left to explain everything to her but it was really hard as she was on the stupid side or very naive.
Gao Zhe He told her if someone asks her where she comes from, she must not tell them that she was from a village at the bottom of a cliff. Instead, he told her to use the name of the town he was from.
Stupid Xing Yue argued and argued with that she won’t lie, completely forgetting that her elder told her not to reveal where the whereabouts of their village otherwise their ‘civilization’ will be over.
She would not allow Gao Zhe He to see her bare feet because they had not been really intimate yet.
Gao Zhe He took Xing Yue shopping and again not a very good experience.
Episode 6
While out and about, Xing Yue got separated from Gao Zhe He. She found the highest edifice to climb so she could find Gao Zhe He from above.
She did find him or rather he found her as people started milling around the edifice thinking that the girl on top was about to jump to her death.
Many took photos and Gao Zhe He thinking that she tried to commit suicide because he dumped her.
Xing Yue was at it again, telling everyone about her village. She is really stupid. Strong but airhead.
She was just too much of a burden that Gao Zhe He dumped her sleeping body by the mountain. I don’t blame him at all. LOL
But in the end, he had a guilty conscience and went looking for her.
He found her almost molested by a man.
When Gao Zhe He asked why she did not use her enormous strength to defend herself, she said because the man was friendly and fed her a lot of meat.
She was extremely annoying in this episode. Three slaps for her, no make that four! LOL
Episode 7
Gao Zhe He had an important urgent case about finding a very rare gem. He was on way to Tadong when he saw Xing Yue on live stream with Hi Tian. So he double backed and went to get Xing Xue away from Hi Tian.
Gao Zhe He told Xia Na to take care of Xing Yue and not to let her out her sight.
Xing Ye had other ideas though so it was decided that Xing Yue should go with Gao Zhe He was she might be useful to him, protecting him.
And it proved that way as well.
Episode 8
Xing Yue was actually a great help to Gao Zhen He. She was able to say that the Zultanite they came to look for and buy was actually a fake. It was a ruby which was painted to make it look like a Zultanite.
Gao Zhen was impressed and asked Xing Yue how can she tell the fakery.
She said that she can see colours through the gems.
Episode 9
Xing Yue found out that her star stone is gone. It has been sold out by Gao Zhen He,
Gao Zhen He trie to comfort Xing Yue but the situation reminded him of his childhood where his poor mother was ailing and they did not have any money to get her cured.
His father was a gem prospector but not a very successful one.
Feeling that he was a loser and can’t provide his family, he started drinking and being depressed.
It was up to the young Gao Zhen He to support both his parents and from a young age, realised that having money is everything.
However, his mother’s sad situation continued to haunt him.
He can’t really comfort Xing Yue, who went with Hi Tian.
Hi Tian and Xing Yue started their livestreaming.
Episode 10
It looks like Chen Wen Quan, the father figure to Gao Zhen He was really Xu Li who killed Gao Zhen He’s father, Gao Heshen, who found the lode.
Xu Li had just disappeared afterwards and he became Chen Wen Quan who works in a sanitarium.
Miss Li An knew about this but she was not aware that Gao Zhen He learned about this too a biding his time to carry out his revenge.
Episode 11
Gao Zhen He can’t help himself. He got so jealous of Hi Tian and Xing Yue’s closeness, he went to see them wearing a fox outfit.
Hi Tian thinking that he was Xing Yue started giving her flowers and was about to confess to her/him when Gao Zhen He removed his fox headdress.
Xia Na can’t take it anymore so she took Xing Yue somewhere to fight over Gao Zhen He.
Xing Yue was so strong Xia Na started crying in defeat.
Xing Yue immediately promised her that she was not going to take Gao Zhen He away from her. She can have him.
Meanwhile, Chen Wenchao ended up at Zhen He’s house as a guest.
Episode 12
During the night, Zhen He woke up and noticed that Chen Wenchao was not in the room. He found him trying to open his secret gem lab.
Chen Wenchao pretended that he was so drunk that he was looking for the toilet.
Annoying XingYue was obstructing the group’s investigation. She was like a leech to Zhen He and followed him everywhere.
He gave back to her the polished sapphire but Xing Yue returned it back to him because she said that the stone is no longer more important to her. It was him that she like and she gave him a tight hug. He was very moved and warned her that he might start falling in love with her.
This worried Xing Yue because she had already promised Xia Na that she will not take away Zhen He’s love.
Zhen He laughed at his and told Xing Yue that he was not a cabbage you can just give away.
