Episode 1

Whoa!  I thought this is another of those high school dramas where the leads are childhood sweethearts with a love-hate relationship.

It turned out there is more to it.

And by the way, the three leads are just gorgeous.

Ancy Deng is adorable and I have always like Linghe from his previous dramas.

Ren Shihao is still fresh from my mind as Su Mu Yan in Sweet First Love. BTW, why have they not given him a lead role after his successful Sweet First Love yet?

Anyway,  Lu Miao had just started junior middle school at Nanfeng No 1 High School, the same school as Jiang Haoyue goes to in the year above her.

On her first day, she made sure she was not anywhere Jiang Haoyue at all as she doesn’t want to have anything to do with him.

Though they are not really related, they grew up as brother and sister.

The thing with Jiang Haoyue was that he was perfect in everywhere and next to him Lu Miao becomes a nobody, very insignificant.

She plans to change this in school so she doesn’t want to be seen with him.

Unfortunately, Jiang Haoyue thinks of her as his young sister who needed protecting and he does a good job of it, including getting her out of trouble with the principal when she got caught in the auditorium creating mayhem.

Afterwards, she did try to be better, so as writing inspirational quotes for herself but when the teacher started their math lesson, all her intentions and perseverance jumped out of the window as she fell asleep.

After school, she again avoided going home with Jiang Haoyue, who became a victim of some thugs who were offended by Jiang Haoyue’s real father who runs a gaming house, which does not look too salubrious.

They started beating Jiang Haoyue who they found out had an artificial leg.  This did not stop them from beating him.

As it so happened, Li Miao saw what was happening and run to Jiang Haoyue.  She found a stick and threatened the three guys who were beating Jiang Haoyue.

But as she ran to Jiang Haoyue, they would have started beating her as well if Jiang Haoyue did not cover her with his body.

The torture only stopped when a boy in a bicycle came by and disturbed the gang.

Lu Miao cried her eyes out as she hugged Jiang Haoyue.  She blamed herself from not walking home with him.

Apparently they became psuedo siblings when Jiang Haoyue was nine and she was eight.

Lu Miao’s father accidentally ran over the boy Jiang Haoyue which resulted in his leg having to be amputated.

His father who was thuggish told Lu Miao’s father that from now on, every member of their family would be looking after Jiang Haoyue.

Miao’s father was only too happy to declare that from that day on, Jiang Haoyue will be his son.

Episode 2

From trying to evade being with him, now Lu Miao is Jiang Haoyue’s personal bodyguard.

This created a problem of its own because their schoolmates started gossiping that Jiang Haoyue was a bit of a coward and some knew of his disability and said that he was hiding behind a girl.

He tried telling Lu Miao to keep it easy a bit but she had already made it a mission to protect him.

Jiang Haoyue was being sent to participate in a contest.

Before he went, Lu Miao took him to her chicken coop to ask for the rooster protection and Jiang Haoyue’s fate.

The rooster chose a fortune note from the selection that Lu Miao chucked into the chicken coop.

Fantastically, the note said that someone was coming, Jiang Haoyue will have a rival.

That someone was Shi Che who had just transferred to Ninfeng No 1 High School in Lu Miao’s class.

He immediately showed interest in Lu Miao.

Episode 3 – 4

Jiang Haoyue immediately realised that a rival had really appeared in his horizon in the form of Shi Che.

Lu Miao could not stop talking about him.  She said that she found they have the same interests, a kindred spirit, in comics.  All the books she wanted to read had been on loan to Shi Che.

Jiang Haoyue told Lu Miao to study but all she could talk about was how she was helping Jiang Haoyu form a basketball club because he did not get into the basketball team.

Meanwhile, in the study centre where Jiang Haoyue went, there was a boy who was so competitive.

He continuedly bugged Jiang Haoyue to compete with him.  He was Qi Wei.

Jiang Haoyue at first ignored Qi Wei but when he found out that Qi Wei had taken the amulet given to him by Lu Miao, he finally consented to a contest.

It was chemistry and he was able to solve the equation at half the time than Qi Wei.

Lu Miao and Zi Ye went to the principal to complain about turning down their request to form a basketball club since they complied with the requirements.

The Principal, who happens to be the father of Shi Che said that the school already has a basketball club.

Lu Miao rashing said that they will compete with the other basketball club.

The Principal agreed but on the condition that if they lose Shi Che starts attending school full time.

During the game, Shi Che was playing well but he slipped and the game was over.

Lu Miao was surprised to see Jiang Haoyue who started behaving like a very strict brother and was rather unfriendly to the adorable Shi Che.

A few days later, there is another surprise, Qi Wei had transferred to No1 High School and in Jiang Haoyue’s class as well.

His competitiveness had not abated.  After a monthly exam Qi Wei came first in the ranking which surprised everyone because Jiang Haoyue had always been top.

Qi Wei was annoying Jiang Haoyue and telling him he was number one.

Jiang Haoyue seemed not bothered at all which only made Qi Wei more unbearable.

There were Chemistry and Physics contests.  The teacher said that Jiang Haoyue should complete in Physics while Qi Wei does the chemistry.

Jiang Haoyue was not happy.

Lu Miao was also not happy for Jiang Haoyue.  She wanted him to be always the first so she started researching how to help someone in chemistry.

Her mother found her writing her research.  Her mother laughed.  She said a so-so student teaching a straight-A student how to study.

By the way, I thought Lu Miao’s mother looks familiar and really pretty.  I just realised she was Chen Ting in Go Ahead.

I am really loving this drama.

The horrible father of Jiang Haoyue was fleecing money from Lu Miao’s father.

Jiang Haoyue and Qi Wei  had a chemistry tryout and Jiang Haoyue won.  He realised thought that deep down Qi Wei was a nice guy.

Episode 5

Everyone in this drama is so nice, excluding Jiang Haoyue’s father.

Anyway, it was the mid-spring festival and all JIang Haoyue had for dinner was a packet of biscuits.

Lu Miao saw him while she was walking her chicken, Congcong.  She saw how lonely he was as he was holding to a watch his mother used to have.

His mother has her own family now and she doesn’t have time for him.  His father is a wastrel who spends his money on lottery tickets.

Lu Miao invited Jiang Haoyue to dinner with her family.  He noticed how much his family life is different from Lu Miao.

Jiang Haoyue was at first jealous that Lu Miao is spending a lot of time with Shi Che but he found out from Shi Che that Lu Miao had been practicing riding a bike so she could carry/bring Jiang Haoyue to school.

At once Jiang Haoyue could not keep the smile on his face.

The next day, he asked Qi Wei to teach him how to ride a bike.

In the end, Jiang Haoyue used his prize money to buy two bikes.  One for Lu Miao and one for him.

So cute and yet so poignant in parts.

Loving this drama.

Episode 6

The three leads are so darn cute.

Shi Che wanted to win a limited edition trainers through drum battle in the arcade.  But he needed to have a partner.

So he enlisted Lu Miao who practised with him.

Jiang Haoyue found out about it so he started learning the drum battle and applying maths and physics to the technique.

Instead of Lu Miao, he became Shi Che’s partner.  They did have fun, all three of them and in the end, Shi Che with Jiang Haoyue got so good they won the trainers for Shi Che.

Shi Che was so grateful to Jiang Haoyue, he told him that from then on they will be friends.

Jiang Haoyue burst his bubble and said that he only did the drum battle with Shi Che for Lu Miao.

Episode 7

It is so cute.

Skinship Rule!

How do you feel when you hold his/her hand?

How do you feel when you hug him/her?

Can you look into his/her for 10 seconds without looking away?

Lu Miao was supposed to have lunch with Jiang Haoyue but when she got to the table, there was already a girl sitting with him.

Lu Miao was very upset when Jiang Haoyue refused to tell Dafei to leave.

She was still moaning when Xie Ziye commented that Lu Miao was getting angry more than a sister should do.  She asked if Lu Miao likes Jiang Haoyue.

She then asked Lu Miao if she can look Jiang Haoyue in the eyes without looking away.

Lu Miao investigated and found out that she can’t look Jiang Haoyue in the eye for 10 seconds, she cannot even look at his photo for ten-second without looking away. So she started to think that she likes him.

Next time she saw Jiang Haoyue, she asked him what he likes in girls.  He said big eyes and sweet smile.

Immediately, Lu Miao thought he was describing Dafei.

Lu Miao stole her mother’s make up started using lipsticks.  She also went to the tailor to trimmed her uniform.  Make the shirt shorter.

Lu Miao asked Jiang Haoyue if he thinks she looks different.

He noticed her new hairclip which she said that Shi Che gave it to her.

Jiang Haoyue went to the shop and bought a hair tie for her which she found in his jacket that he lent her when the schoolmaster inspected the school uniform.

Lu Miao asked Jiang Haoyue if he likes Dafei.  He said he never said he likes Dafei.

Lu Miao said he previously told her that he likes girls with big eyes and sweet smile.

He look down at her and said “you have big yes” and then she smiled sweetly.

Episode 8

The autumn school trip for year 1 was the same day as Jiang Haoyue’s 17th birthday.

Lu Miao was in a quandary.  In the end she escaped from her outdoor activities to go back to the main school and give a birthday cake to Jiang Haoyue.

Lu Miao was followed by Shi Che and helped Lu Miao to evade the school teacher.

Lu Miao found Jiang Haoyue who she pulled to hide with her in a restricted utility room.  They had an eye-to-eye interaction and she started silently counting.

She was excited when he looked away before the count of 10.

Shi Che found them and sort of glint that there is more to the supposed sibling relationship between the two.

Meanwhile, Jiang Haoyue’s parents did remember his birthday.  His father wished him a happy birthday.  While his mother told him to go leave with her.

Jiang Haoyue’s birthday wish was to be all grown up so he is solely responsible for himself and his actions.

Episode 9

No I High School was going to have a gala and each class section will have to provide a performance.

In Year 1 Class 10 which is Lu Miao’s class, her group made up of Shi Che, Ziye and Guoguo will perform the Arabian Robotic Basketball dance. 😜

Meanwhile, a host and a hostess were also selected.

Jiang Haoyue was voted and Su Dafei as well to compere the gala.

Lu Miao suddenly turned into an annoying petulant girl.  She was so jealous she was making everyone uncomfortable including her group as well as me.  I don’t like to watch this overly dramatised jealousy when a subtle one could do.

Episode 10

Lu Miao and her group performance almost did not come to fruition because there was a typhoon coming and they had to cut short that gala and a jealous Dafei decided that it should be Lu Miao’s group to be cancelled.

But in the end, jiang Haoyue overruled her and announced the last performance which turned out to be rather excellent.  It was futuristic and well coordinated with Lu Miao’s hard work of perfecting her split ending successfully.

On their way home, Lu Miao told Jiang Haoyue that Dafei likes him.

He said that he knows but he doesn’t like her.

Lu Miao said that she had watched enough tv dramas where the tsundere lead ended up with the girl he purported not to like.

Jiang Haoyue said that he promised not to have a puppy love and should she. So Lu Miao created a contract between them than they should both not have puppy loves.

So cute.

Episode 11

Another cute episode.

Lu Miao triumphantly said to Haoyue that she had become popular at school and she brandished a love letter she had just received.

Haoyue reminded her about the contract about pupply love.

Liu Miao said she knew.  Haoyue grabbed the letter from her and proceeded to read.  It was not a love letter as such but more of a request to learn flips from Liu Miao because she did so well during the dance.

Haoyue smirked at her.

Shi Che was telling Haoyue and Lu Miao that they are not really siblings.  Then he tried to make them feel that their closeness was not really right.

But it does not work.

Shi Che is so cute, he was trying everything to get Lu Miao to be interested in him but she just doesn’t get it.

Anyway, Haoyue admitted to himself and to Congcong the chicken, that he likes Lu Miao as a girl rather than a sister.

With this in mind, he asked Lu Miao that she should stop calling him brother.

She was only too happy and too cheeky to follow his wishes.  She said she will call him HaoHao from now on.

Episode 12

This episode is hilarious.

Ren Shihao is really such a good actor.  His comedic style is so natural.  I really hope he gets more lead roles soon.

Anyway, Shi Che was not giving up in his pursuit of Lu Miao.

He interrupted Lu Miao and Haoyue from their lunch to invite Lu Miao at the comic centre for cosplaying to win a especially autographed Naturo comic.

Lu Miao was sold she wanted to go. Haoyue said he was not interested so Lu Miao will be going with Shi Che but not if Haoyue could help it.

At that time, there was a debating contest.  Haoyue had a brilliant idea of signing Shi Che for it which will be at the same time as the cosplay at the comic centre.

On his way to the comic centre, he was nabbed by his father, the school principal, who drove him to school for the debate.

Lu Miao was then left without a partner and was gutted.  But she was with Haoyue who she quickly dressed as T800 (Terminator) which was impressive given that he has a bionic leg.

They won the cosplay and the signed Naruto.

Surprisingly, Shi Che won his team the debate contest but he was too late for the cosplay.

Love this episode for Shi Che.  He was really adorably funny.

Episode 13

Su Dafei released a video about her experience with the legendary mirror at their old school. The video showed that she saw Haoyue which means that he was her fated.

Apparently, the old mirror was just one of the 7 myths at the old school.

Of course, Lu Miao would not let this pass as it concerned Haoyue.  So she agreed to go with Shi Che and Zi Ye to investigate the legend for themselves.

Shi Che arranged for Gouguou to pretend as a white lady and frighten Lu Miao so she would jumped into Shi Che’s arms.

When they got to the old school, they all became frightened immediately.  They found Qu Wei doing his science bit but they did find some strange items in an old classroom and also some strange noises.

Gougou then did her bit and frightened both Lu Miao and Ziye.

This time Shi Che was also scared and ran off with Ziye thinking that she was Lu Miao.

Lu Miao was left alone as Qu Wei ran after the disguised Guoguo, who saw Dafei in the corridor and went to her forgetting that he was dressed as a white lady.

Dafei ran screaming.

Haoyue turned up at the old school because Lu Miao’s dad told him to tell her to go home.  As Lu Miao was not at his house, he called Qu Wei who he knew was doing his investigation.

He came across a very frightened Dafei, who confirmed his suspicion that she doctored her video.  But she said she will never do such thing again and begged Lu Miao to escort her to the gate.

Haoyue was much too concerned for Lu Miao to tend to Dafei so he called Qu Wei to get Dafei out.

Lu Miao ended up in the old science lab and saw the mirror. She saw Haoyue reflected behind her in the mirror because he was standing behind her.

He told her not to do anything as stupid as this silly legend.  She said that it might be stupid but she believes it because she saw her fated. Awww

Meanwhile Ziye and Shiche were closer.

Episode 14

It was the new year and Houyue was not having a good time as he just went to get his father from jail.

But then he saw Lu Miao who invited him to the family dinner.

He was later in bed when he began to remember what happened 10 years ago.  His family was a happy one but then because of lack of money, his mother started nagging her husband who was already frustrated.

Then one night, Haoyue followed his mother, begging her not to go.  He ran after the car she got in.

Lu Miao’s mother and father were taking Lu Miao’s mother’s parents back to the countryside and left Lu Miao to fend for herself for a couple of days.

Lu Miao was so happy and the first thing she did was order all types of barbecue from the street food vendor.

A few hours later, Haoyue got a call from Lu Miao asking if he had a spare pain killer for stomach ache.

When he got to Lu Miao she was feverish and weak and sleepy.

The ambulance could not go to her because of the rain and traffic so Haoyue carried her on his back to take her to the hospital.  He was not far from the apartment when he fell with Lu Miao.

At that moment Shi Che was there to visit Lu Miao. Seeing the two on the wet road, Shi Che carried Lu Miao on his back to the hospital which shamed Haoyue to the bone.  He wanted to do it but he can’t.

He called Miao’s parents about what happened.

They were driving to the hospital when they saw Haoyue walking in the rain.

Lu Miao’s father went after Haoyue with an umbrella but Haoyue now fully remembered what happened 10 years ago.  Lu Miao’s father ran him over.

Haoyue was so upset with the father and blamed him for ruining his life.

Episode 15

This is a sad episode.

Hoayue can’t accept that his choices in life were limited because of his lost left leg.  He blames Lu Miao’s father for making him less than a complete human being.

With his depression, self-shame that he was unable to carry Lu Miao to the hospital, he tried to stay away from her and her family.

Lu Miao cannot understand why Haoyue had become a stranger overnight after she was hospitalised.

She needed him most because she wanted his opinion and advice regarding whether she should take up science or art for middle school.

It was actually Shi Che who helped make her choice.  He gave her a questionnaire to see where she excels at.

He is such a lovely boy, he told the confused Lu Miao the truth about that night she was taken to the hospital.  He said that he was breaking his promise to Haoyue that he will never tell her that Haoyue took her to the hospital.

He then said that he saw Haoyue later on taking to her father rather seriously.

Lu Miao suddenly twigged that Haoyue had not forgiven her father, her family for what happened all those years ago.

She confessed to Shi Che that it was her father who ran over Haoyue which made him lose his lower left leg.

Lu Miao felt ashamed that she had been imposing herself to Haoyue since they were children when obviously he felt deep contempt for her family.

Sadly, she decided not to stay away from Haoyue.

And she did.

Haoyue had a nightmare.  He dreamt that he had his legs fully intact and went to tell Lu Miao about it.  But the people living in her house were different.  Congcong and its coop on the rooftop was gone.  He then saw Lu Miao cycling with Shi Che.

He cycled after them and when he spoke to Lu Miao, she did not know him.

Haoyue woke up very frightened.  He realised then that Lu Miao was more important than his missing leg. 🤗

Episode 16

Poor Shi Che did not get picked for the basketball team but his friend Gougou did.

Gougou offered to give ups his place but Shi Che would have not of it.  Shi Che is really a good guy are realised by Lu Miao and Ziye.

There was a new homeroom teacher for Class 2.  Their classroom was moved to the second floor.

Despite not really talking to Haoyue, Lu Miao took all his things to his new classroom.

The new teacher required Haoyue to participate in PE.

The Principal said that Haoyue was a pride of the school and seeded to go to Peking University so to leave him be.

The teacher though said that he had research Haoyue’s condition before he came to the school and found that mile physical education was good for Haoyue.

Haoyue was resistant to the idea but when he saw that Lu Miao started fighting his battle for him, he joined the PE.

But his artificial leg was hurting him.  He had outgrown them which was noticed by Lu Miao’s dad.

He gave money for a new leg for Haoyue to his father.

Lu Miao and Hoayue made up.  So cute.

Episode 17

Shi Che is such a joy to watch.  He is owning this entire drama.

Anyway, it was a sports day at school.  It was decided with Haoyue’s class that they will have as a piece d’ resistance to their PE show of Haoyue standing on their shoulders and then he will throw himself and hope they would catch him.

He was having a second thought and was getting nervous but Lu Miao shouted ‘Jiayou’ and so were everyone else in the stadium,

So he jumped and his best friend Qu Wei caught him safely.

Everyone was ecstatic for him.

Meanwhie, Lu Miao was running the relay with Shi Che, Gougou.  They won the race.

Previously, Haoyue overheard Shi Che practising his confession that he will broadcast in front of everyone when he wins the relay.

So happily he gave the confession letter to Qu Wei and Da Fei to read but Haoyue got there first and he read it himself.

Haoyue edited the  part  where Shi Che was dedicating the medal to Lu Miao by saying he loves his dad and wanted tp give him the medal.

Poor Shi Che was being hugged by his grateful father. Aww

Lu Miao’s dad invited Haoyue to eat barbecue with him.

Haoyue asked if paid for his new leg.

The father told a white light.  He said that it was Haoyue’s father who got it for him.  He said that sometimes we over demonized people closed to us.

Haoyue apologised for how he behaved before but he was quickly forgiven because it was in the past.

Episode 18

Shi Che made a deal with his father that if his rating goes up to 200 from 500+, Shi Che will be allowed to choose his major in college which is basketball. 🏀

His father agreed because if Shi Che does not get to the top 200, then he will do as his father wants and be a doctor or a lawyer.

Meanwhile, Lu Miao failed two subjects.  Her mother was called at the school and was advised to enrol Lu Miao into a cram school.

The mother found out that the money is their savings were gone.  She went ballistic with her husband who would not admit where the money really went at first.  He said he used it to pay the bills but she said she paid the bills.

She then went to the bank and got a bank statement and 30,000 was paid out from the account at the same time as when Haoyue got his new artificial leg.

Her husband moaned at her that all she takes about was money, he said they can get it back as they both work.

She finally confessed that she was fired from her job a long time ago.

He went to comfort her but she was too livid to be comforted.  She said if Haoyue had not been a drain to their resources, she would have not worked so hard and he would have not worked so hard as well then they would have had more time for their daughter.

She said that they would pay and support Haoyue until he reaches 18 after that they will divorce.

Shi Che was desperate to go to a sport school so for once he really studied hard, hardly sleeping or even playing basketball.

Lu Miao did the same thing because she wanted to cheer her mother up.

Haoyue tutored the two and they got their result and more.

Shi Che got 187 rating.

His father was very pleased and said that he knew what too good for basketball.  He should be a doctor.

Shi Che said that his father should honour his word.

I love their father and son relationship.  They are so cute.  He was proud of Shi Che and always try to see where his son excels and not minding too much of his son’s not so good grades.

Lu Miao was proud of herself because she jump-leap to 43 rating.

She called her mum, who went to look after her ailing father.

Mother said that she was happy about Lu Miao’s grade.  She then asked if Lu Miao would like to live with her.

Lu Miao said of course but her mother elaborated, “…alone.”

Episode 19

Jiang Yi was in trouble yet again.  Lu Yong Fei had to get him out of the police station.

They ended up drunk and had a fight.

Jiang Yi ended up telling Jiang Haoyue later on that Yong Fei was having a fight with his wife because of money.

Haoyue found a transfer notice of money that his father dropped. He compared it to the one he had in his file and found that the account number was the same as Yong Fei.

He knew that Yong Fei paid for his new artificial leg and this was the cause Yong Fei fight with his wife.

Haoyue told his father that he will put an end to Jiang Yi putting pressure on the Lu family.  He called his mother and told her that he was ready to go live with her.

His mother said that she would arrange the paperwork and he could then come abroad to live with her.

Episode 20

Everyone is sad in this episode.

Shi Che was so annoyed with himself for his failure to attract Lu Miao.

Guoguo told him to look for another girl.  He suggested Ziye but Shi Che said that it has to be Lu Miao.

Zhang Yi found out that his son is leaving for abroad.  He said that Haoyue was not going anywhere.  He threw Haoyue’s passport and ripped the paperwork.

Haoyue realised that it would not be the great reunion he was hoping for with his mother when he found out that she rented him a little apartment of his own next to his school.  She said that she has a new family and if Haoyue doesn’t get on with them, it would be a major upheaval.

He then remembered that when his mother came to see him when he was little instead of giving him a hug, she gave him money.  She did not have any maternal instinct towards him.

It was really Lu Miao who comforted and needed him.

Lu Miao was heartbroken when she found out that he was leaving which was on top of her parents being on the verge of divorce.

Episode 21

Shi Che was really bothered that Lu Miao was so sad.

So he made it a mission to make Haoyue to stay for Lu Miao.  How pure is Shi Che’s love for Lu Miao!!!

Ziye confessed to Qi Wei encouraged by Lu Miao.  This was based on Zi Ye’s little notebook where Qi Wei got 100 percent s the perfect boyfriend material.

Qi Wei turned Zi Ye down because he said he doesn’t feel that her confession was from the heart.  Love is about feelings.

Meanwhile, Ziye found Shi Che crying on the basketball court.  He told her that he knew from the start the Lu Miao would not end up with him but it still hurts.

Zi Ye said she knew how to make him happy and took him to an amusement park and took him to so many rides.  He ended up legless but he had forgotten his sadness.

Houyue’s father absolutely forbade him to go but Lu Miao was very mature.

She told him that they were childhood friends and she had no right to hinder him from his future so he is supporting his decision and w3ishing him a happy life.  She then gave him a friendship bracelet which he must wear always as an amulet.

This only made him feel worst because she was in a horrible place at the moment and yet she was still supportive towards him.

He realised then that he can’t really leave her.

Episode 22

Houyue told Miao that he was not leaving.  Even Miao told him to reconsider because studying abroad will be good for him and his future career.

But he made up his mind.

His mother came back to get him, to take him away from his dad because he was a bad influence on Houyue.

Houyue returned the watch she gave him before she left the first time, telling him that she will return for him.

She gave him a large sum of money she saved for him over the years.

As she was leaving, she bumped into her ex-husband who was drunk.  She pushed him away and started insulting him for ruining their son’s life.

Houyue showed up chose his father. He told his mother that his father is his family and he lives with him in their house.

His father was grateful for being acknowledged.

Miao’s family was just coming back from the funeral of Grandpa and they saw what was happening.

It actually led to a miracle because Houyue’s father became a changed man.

He said he was going to become a real father to Houyue.  He gave up his mahjong place and will start a decent business.

He is more involved in Houyue’s education.  He was rather surprised though that Houyue will study Astrophysics and not the more popular course.

Episode 23

Houyue left for Beijing for university.  He went to the same school as Qu Wei.

But he began missing Lu Miao who did not call him regularly because she was studying really hard.  She even refused to visit him in Beijing because traveling would eat up to her study time.

But Houyue’s father is missing him so much, he used Lu Miao as an excuse to call his son and then to ask him to visit them.

He said that Miao was wasting away, with dark circles, losing weight because she was not eating nor sleeping.

He hurried and found her still cutely chubby in the face with a good appetite.

And then it was time for GaoKao which turned dramatic for Lu Miao as she brought the wrong ID pass with her.  It was so good that Houyue was there because he was able to get it from her house and give it to her in time.

They are so cute.

Si Che is falling in love with Ziye and still not sure about it.

Episode 24

Lu Miao passed the GaoKao; she qualified to go to Beijing.

Aww Mr Jiang opened a sweet soup restaurant so his son could be proud of him.

They named it Jiang Sweet Soup.

Lu Miao’s mother was concerned at first that Haoyue was not good enough for her daughter but Haoyue assured her that he was able to protect Miao and he will show it.

Having gotten’s the mother’s permission, he made another contract with Miao to last a lifetime of being together and live by the sea.

So cute.
