Episode 1
Xiao Yan is allergic to babies. She can barely stand them and a pregnant woman is an enemy in the workplace.
She was flying to an appointment when a young child sitting behind her started kicking her seat. Despite asking the child to stop, it only doubled its effort to kick Xiao Yan’s seat.
She called the flight attendant to sort it out but still the child would not stop, its mother was too tired to do anything as she was cradling a baby.
When they landed, Xiao Yan helped the mother to reach for her little suitcase overhead. It so happened that the baby threw up on her suit lapels.
She went to her appointment and being a professional she was ready for any unforeseen event. She brought extra of clothes with her and quickly changed in the Ladies’
She was giving the presentation about new make-up and lipstick when the boss said the lipstick shade looks like mud.
Xioa Yan told him that it was a trendy shade which women favours.
The misogynistic boss said that lipstick shade should be approved by men.
Before they could argue about it further, an unkempt woman came to the boardroom and started screaming at the boss asking him whose lipstick is it as she threw a lipstick on the table.
The woman was so mad she threw a glass of water at the boss, who happened to be her husband.
They all left the boardroom leaving Xiao Yan flabbergasted.
She later found the irate woman at the ladies. Xiao Yan gave the shoeless woman the slippers she picked up from the boardroom.
The woman said that she had just spoken to her lawyers as she was going to divorce her husband. She will get half of the company.
Xiao Yan gave the woman a makeover, who felt better.\
They then ended up in a coffee shop where she helped the woman about starting a business of her own.
They were getting along fine until the nanny came to find the woman with the children.
The woman left Xiao Yan immediately without even a by your leave. She realised that a woman’s priority is always going to be her children.
She later learned that she got the contract from the woman’s husband firm who was thankful for making his wife return to him.
This only made Xiao Yan more firm in her decision of not having kids.
Unfortunately for her, the company she works for seemed developed a fecundity in their water taps because the women seemed to be getting pregnant one by one including her assistant who was so scared to tell her about it
The assistant was right because Xiao Yan immediately commanded another manager to contact HR to send her another assistant.
Then her number one rival in the company had also became pregnant but not telling anyone because she knew her career would be more or less over if it was found out.
She asked her husband if he had heard of ‘secret pregnancy’ in the office.
Her husband was aghast at her question. He thought she would only be to happy to find herself pregnant.
