Precis

A lawyer meets a CEO.  They shared a past which they wanted to be kept hidden.

Episode 1

Luo Yunxi and Cheng Xiao have an instant rapport.  They look cute together.  But I have to say Cheng Xiao really is not a natural actress though she is improving … slowly.

Luo Yunxi is painfully thin, he could do with more sausage rolls but having said that he is gorgeous and so is Cheng Xiao

The drama storyboard is nothing new.  Misunderstanding, amnesia, revenge…

Anyway, it started with the delicately gorgeous Su Xie Yi wearing a most horrendous wig which has still the mark of how it was folded on it.   She was on her way to Ocean Hotel to start her investigation on why and who killed her father.

Her number one suspect was Huo Jian, who is currently running the Ocean Hotel as a proxy to Li Ze Liang.

Su Xie Yi went to look for evidence in the manager’s office where she managed to record him being involved with some dirty dealings.

Meanwhile, Li Ze Liang was being tortured by his uncle Huo Jian with a game of badminton.

Li Ze Liang was almost always on his knees trying to match up with Huo Jian who told him that it was time to man up and take responsibility for Ocean Hotel which is own by the Lis and not the Hous so Li Ze Liang will inherit it.

He told off Li Ze Liang for being lackadaisical with his responsibilities for getting drunk most of the time.

And it was in the bar that he met up with Su Xie Yi.

Li Ze Liang was being harassed by a man who got jealous when his girlfriend drunkenly hugged Li Ze Liang.

To evade the furious boyfriend, Li Ze Liang accidentally poured his drink on Su Xie Yi who was sitting at the bar next to him.

He apologised to her but got the shock of his life because he knew her.

Su Xie Yi helped him get away from the boyfriend and the bar.  They got into her car to hide.

They got talking and he noticed the pill bottle which she told him was her medication as she suffers from dissociative amnesia.

He realised why she did not seem to know him.

It turned out that it was all a setup.  Su Xie Yi paid the boyfriend to make trouble for Li Ze Liang so they could meet.

They have a backstory.

They first met while he was rock-climbing and almost fell down with her in tow when she hit him with a stick when he had just reached the top of the mountain thinking that he was a warthog.

He ended up spending the night with her, platonically, but he did leave her his business card the next morning

She was still thinking about him when she got a call from someone telling her that her father was in trouble, he had gone to Hou Jian’s apartment.

Su Xie Yi went to find her father and she was just in time to see him falling from the rooftop of the apartment building.

Li Ze Liang was on the rooftop with his arm extended as if trying to stop Xie Yi’s father.

Su Xie Yi does not remember this as she fainted from the shock of seeing her father falling to his death almost right before her.

Meanwhile, at present time, Li Ze Liang revealed why he was not good at badminton, he had lost his left leg and is now made of metal, bionic.

Episode 2

Su Xie Yi got a job at Ocean Hotel working at the General Manager’s Office.  She became an assistant to the General Manager who was Li Ze Liang.

Li Ze Liang showed her a CCTV of her sneaking in to reveal an employee being up to no good.

Episode 3

Su Xie Yi’s sister’s fiance is a bit sinister.

He is Minghao and he looks like he was after Su Xie Yi.
