Love this film.
The story is about the wants, wishes, and dreams of graduating students.
Huang Jian is a genius. His greatest wish is after graduation to be able to go to MIT to study under his idol Professor Zwiebach.
It would be easy for him as he was a genius but there is Xu Zicong who is also after the only slot for MIT.
Xu Zicong is intelligent, handsome, comes from an affluent family and very cultured.
Being cultured or knowing the right thing to do or say is what was lacking in Huang Jian.
Huang Jian is like a bull in a China shop. He is very honest.
Anyway, to be able to compete with Xu Zicong, he needs an extra curricular activity.
So he tried joing clubs after clubs after clubs but no one wanted to take him including the chess club because being a genius he had set the bar so high no one can win against him, they had to tell him to leave.
Anyway, Zhu Zhu is a young journalist who had to infiltrate university life to gain materials. Her first victim was Jin Yuanyuan, who told her that she was studying etiquette so she could land herself a rich husband.
Her story trended and Xu Zicong became cold with her.
But then Xu Zicong had a second thought. He could use Jin Yuan Yuan.
Wu Jiali was the instructor in etiquette who also accepts male students.
Finally, Huang Jin can join a club.
Zicong had been trying to set up Huang Jin a number of times including stealling Huang JIn’s clothes while he was in the shower.
Zicong did leave something for him to wear. A love pink dress. Zicong then tried to embarrass him by waving a pair of red high heels to go with the pink dress.
Without batting an eyelid, Huang Jin came to Zicong and gave him a kiss on the cheek and everyone can hear him thanking his honey.
Zicong was beetroot red.
He then became jealous that Huang Jin had finally found his niche and actually made friends.
The two ended up fighting and fell from the window of their dorm room and ended up in the hospital.
It was hilarious when Huang Jin asked Zicong to unzip his flies so he could go to wee.
Huang Jin and Zhu Zhu are getting closer.
Zhu Zhu invited Huang Jin to her apartment to fix her computer. As she had run out of cola, she asked Huang Jin to get some more at the convenience shop.
He thought that was a signal for him to get some condoms. He ran fast to the shop but when he got back he was traped between her front door and a self-locking outer grill door. Zhu Zhu was asleep inside and did not hear him knocking.
Yuanyuan had become Zicong’s leader of spies against Huang Jin. Yuan Yuan is using Li Si to sabotage Huang JIn’s group.
Zicong warned Huang Jin to be wary of Li Si.
Instead of being nasty to Li Si, the group surprised her on her birthday.
Huang Jin was heartbroken to find out that zhu Zhu was not a student but an undercover journalist who had just written a denigrating article about their club.
Zicong knew that YuanYuan was behind it, He did everything to save Huang Jin from being found out that he was with Qi Ran.
Aww the growing bromance between Zicong and Huang Jin is so cute.
Huang Jin and Zhu Zhu got together in the end but it might be a long-distance relationship because Huang JIn was accepted at MIT.
