Episode 1

Newly graduate Li Na was on her way for an interview with a fashion magazine when everything went chaotic.

To start with Lu Bin Bin looked her up and down and told her that she was not dressed appropriately for a fashion magazine.  To her humiliation, Lu Bin Bin removed the tag still attached to her blouse; she was upset when he removed it for her.

Noticing that she was not happy about it, he knowingly said that she was going to return the blouse once the interview was over.

But his attitude changed a little bit when she showed him the business card George Lin had given her.  He told her to go for an interview for the assistant editor.

Lu Bin Bin called Qin Min to consult.

Qin Min said that they don’t need an assistant editor.

Yan Kai came in and asked if she was Li Na.  He said that he will take her on but Qin Min was arguing about it.

Meanwhile, Kai YI was trying to contact George.

But George was otherwise engaged with demons on his mind.  George is the Chief editor of the magazine or rather was the Chief because George was no more as he plunged from the rooftop into the street below.

Everyone from the magazine hurried up to see what had happened.  The staff were in total shock but Kai Yi who just arrived at the scene told them that they have two minutes to give in to their emotions and then they had to go back to the office as they have a magazine to bring out.

At the office, Qin Min and Yan Kai resumed their disagreement about taking LiNa as an intern.

Poor LiNa was in the middle of it which she doesn’t really want to be as she had already indicated that she was OK just going home and forgetting that she had gone for the interview.

Yan Kai was summoned by Kai Yi who told him that he was so important to the magazine and does not want to lose him.  She also said that it was a worrying time for magazines as sales had gone down.

Readers tend to go online for their fix of fashion.

But she likes the elegance of a magazine which is like a sinking ship a la Titanic.  Never lose the glamour to the very end.

Episode 2

Lina was finally hired by Blossom as an intern.  Qin Min told her to shape or she doesn’t have a place at Blossom.

Meanwhile, Kaiyi was taking George’s death really hard.  She even asked her secret boyfriend to get married.

Kaiyi is known for being ambitious and was being gossiped that she was behind George’s suicide.

Tui, Lina’s benefactor, knew that George was having problems with the loan sharks.  Tui, however, told Lina never ever to gossip about what she knew about George.

Lina asked her father for some money but he was too drunk. instead, Tui gave her money 10,000, so she could get her own apartment.  Tui is her boss in a restaurant she was working for for over a year. He sees her as his family and she treated him as her father.

Yan Kai was in a pretty bad way after the death of George.  He got so drunk he collapsed on the street.

He was taken in by Yan Nan and put him on her bed.  He got a shock when he woke up with her next to him.

She then confessed to him that she likes him.

He was of course wary of what was going on but she told him that she likes up but she does not expect anything from him.  She said that nothing happened between them.

He agreed immediately that nothing happened because he was too drunk.

It was the first day for LiNa at Blossom.  She asked if there was a dorm of employees.  Qin Min said that there is no dorm but there is a housing allowance.  She then introduced her to a surly Cai Fei.

Qin Min said that as Cai Fei lives alone, perhaps she can share a house with Lina.

Episode 3

Loving this drama.  Very underrated.

There was a power struggle between Lu Bin Bin and Yan Kai.  But in the end, Kai Yi told Lu Bin Bin that if he wanted to resign she will not stop him.

This shut Lu Bin Bin up but only for a while because he warned Kai Yi that Yankai is after George’s position/office.

Poor Li Na was really struggling.  She asked the women at the magazine if they can enlighten her on the names of the top brands as she had never heard them before.

The women laughed at the rudimentary names she gave the brands.

This treatment made Cai Fei tell Lina that she was willing to share an apartment provided she follows the rules.

When Lina asked why Cai Fei suddenly changed her mind?  Cai Fei said that with Lina in the office, Cai Fei is no longer the most pathetic as the title now goes to Lina.

Meanwhile, Lei Qi Tai took Kai Yi’s comment about getting married.  So he arranged romantic dinner and was just about to propose when Kai Yi told him to stop.  She said that she mentioned marriage before because she was in a weakened condition after George’s death.  She said that she was not ready to get married.

Lei Qi Tai was crashed.  He said that he was 36 years old and she was slightly older than him.  He wants a family.  He was tired of always meeting in a hotel suite, it feels like a prison.

They finally agreed that it was not the time nor the place for a proposal.

Kaiyi was in a meeting regarding a fashion show where Lu Bin Bin said that the advertising will not help as the editorial department always get kudos while they don’t get a mention.

The meeting was interrupted by Qin Min, who came to have a word with Kaiyi.

Too late the news was in the intranet.  George’s position had been assigned to an outsider.  It was given to Xiao Hong Xue who was not into fashion but more on the money side of it.

Episode 4
