Episode 1
Poor Yu Xingchui was chucked out of her apartment for non-payment of rent.
She said that since graduation just a few months ago, her landlord had increased the rent four times.
Anyway, despite the misfortune, Xingchui remains optimistic thinking that after the rain, there is always sunshine.
Xingchui works at Gao Leng.
Her boss, Liu Yan, is OCD on cleanliness and order.
Anyway, she was asked to bring him two cups of coffee at the rooftop where she saw him in a rather intimate interaction with another guy.
She immediately assured them that she did not see anything.
Later that day, she got a telephone call from her aunt’s lawyer advising her that she had inherited her aunt’s mansion.

Episode 2
Xingchui let herself in in her new house. She was so happy with how modern and spacious her mansion was but then she noticed a figure by the stairs.
It was Boss Liu, who obviously just came out of the shower.
Xingchui explained about her inheritance and her birthday being the door passcode.
He asked what number was her house.
It turned out her house was next door.
Her house is big but not modern and it got worst, the electricity was cut off and then a woman from the association came to collect the maintenance fee which was a lot…
Episode 3
Xingchui found out that Boss Liu was a complain-a-minute neghbour. He complains about the smell of her river snail noodles and the volume of her music.
She was also very, very low on funds.
Episode 4
Xingchui once again trespassed at Boss Liu’s house and found him in his blue cartoon pajamas. She took photos after photos of him which she then used to blackmail him.
Episode 5
Xingchui and Boss Liu are beginning to get on. He was ill so she gave him medicine and ginger soup.
She realised later that the medicine she gave him had expired two years ago so she went back to his house and found that the ginger soup she was heating was left to burn dry.
Episode 6
Poor Boss Liu had not much choice but to move in with Xingchui as he was still fluish and having nightmares.
Episode 7
Xingchui looked after Boss Liu through his illness and made him sign a co-sharing contract. She was beginning to realise that he was not a complete dick after all. 🤣
Episode 8
Yep, he was still horrible but then she was inciting him on purpose. So they started a new round of one-upmanship.
Episode 9
Xie Hengduan is Boss Liu’s best friend and silent business partner. Hengduan wanted to meet Boss Liu’s neighbour which he said he would grant.
So Boss `Liu set the setting up by cooking delicious food for Xingchui and then asking her to pay.
