Episode 1
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency created a Special Task Force to investigate a spate of suicides of known criminals.
The Special Task Force was led by a maverick detective, Do Jung Woo.
It has not been mentioned yet but the case seemed to have something to do with a mysterious incident that happened 28 years ago.
Episode 2
Jamie Leighton was on loan from the FBI to join the Special Task Force.
Episode 3
Deo Jung Woo told Jamie that they both came from the cultist White Night Village.
Episode 4
Korean superstition: Looking at a broken mirror brings seven years of bad luck.
Jamie was adopted by an American army soldier when she run in front of his jeep. As no one came to claim her, he took her back to America.
Lee Ji Wook, XVN broadcaster, gave the Special Task Force, a tip-off about who the next victim would be.
It was Son Min Ho, the monk-like businessman. When the police got there, the mansion was on fire.
Despite the burning building, Do Jung Woo went it and then the whole mansion was razed to the ground.
Jamie was kidnapped.
Episode 5
This is a strange and rather implausible episode. Jamie was gone for three days and they hardly noticed it. No one was looking for her.
Jamie was kidnapped and being experimented on.
A nurse told her that the surgery went well. What kind of surgery? It has not been revealed. But she did manage to escape the hospital and picked up by a trucker when she stood in the middle of the road to get noticed.
The trucker took her to the nearest police station and later picked up by Jang Ji Wan.
Jamie half convinced Jang Ji Wan that all the killings was being done by Do Jung Woo. He was usimg misdirection to get away with many things.
Meanwhile, Gong Hye Won confessed to Do Jung Woo but he told her to find someone else because he was not intereted. He also added that he will help her transfer to another unit if being with him in the team would make her uncomfortable.
But Gong Hye Won was too deep into him that she was not giving up that easily.
