Episode 1
I quite like this drama. It has a good cast and there are plenty of twists and turns.
Anyway, South and North Korea had unified.
At first, the North Koreans were hopeful about a new life in the union but they found that there was really no place for them in the South. There was no high-paying or decent jobs waiting for them.
A feisty North Korean girl who was trained as a soldier was one of those who expected to find a profitable job but instead, the only thing that she could find was waitressing which paid a low salary, or become a hooker.
Her life just got worst until she can’t bear it anymore and contemplated killing herself but then a guy showed up who she thought was the grim reaper.
the man was the Professor who told her to join his motley crew.
She had nothing to lose so she followed the Professor and was introduced to his recruits. The Professor proposed that each one of them had an alias so then decided to pick from cities around the world.
Their mission or target was to rob the Korean Mint.
The Professor had their mission prepared by the minute.
They took everyone inside the Mint including the staff and students who were on a day trip as hostages.
Episode 2
It turned out that the main negotiator was the Professor’s girlfriend. He was using her to do the work for him without her being aware of it.
The Professor and his crew found out that their mission was not as easy as they envisaged.
The Director of the Mint was too problematic together with the woman who was his subordinate that he was having an affair.
The mistress found a GPS Cellular watch which she used to send a message to the police.
The Professor found this out and ordered his crew to locate who had the watch.
They used a metal detector to find the watch. The watch fell from the mistress.
Berlin who was the leader of the crew inside the Mint ordered that the woman was executed.
Episode 3
The mistress was Yu Mi Seol. She begged Denver not to kill her but at the same time to shoot her so she could pretend that he died.
Everyone heard the shot so they thought that Miseol was dead. This made the crew annoyed because The Professor had strongly ordered them that there would be no killing whatsoever.
Moscow found out that Denver had killed a hostage. Moscow is Denver’s father. Moscow run out of the Mint followed by Denver. Moscow thinks that Denver had lost any semblance of a future.
Denver told him that he did not really kill Miseol.
Moscow finally accepted the truth but they both realised that they were sitting targets for snipers.
The crew brought out the hostages dressed like them with guns so the police were not sure who the robbers are and who are the hostages.
Moscow and Denver got back in safely but the Mint Director was shot by the police thinking he was one of the robbers as he was brandishing at the hostages at the real hostages.
Episode 4
The crew became suspicious of one another and developed a clique.
The group decided to change the leader of the group but Berlin was going mental so they had to tied him up and isolate him.
Denber grew to like Miseol and even gave his blood intravenously to save her.
Meanwhile, Cha Mu Hyeok went to the Mint as part of the medical team. But he had to confess that he was a cop.
They let him leave with the other medical team after they had seen to the injured Director of the Mint.
But a SWAT team tried to infiltrate but they were rumbled. But a Chulwoo a more patriotic police officer managed to stay and infiltrate the group.
Episode 5
Very exciting episode.
Chulwoo was found out and shot repeatedly by Berlin. But before Chulwoo died he managed to tell the his team that the professor was not inside the Mint.
Meanwhile, the Professor was running against time and Woojin’s team to get to the get the getaway car from the junkyard/scrap yard.
It was a pretty exciting chase but the Professor managed to get away..
Episode 6
This drama has the mark of Netflix. A kdrama bastardised with so much shagging and nudity.
Anyway, Woojin went to check on the hostages with a cameraman.
Woojin said that there was. hostage missing and showed Chulwoo’s photo to everyone.
Anna said she saw him and then the Mint Director said that he saw him too.
Woojin said that he was killed but then Berlin suddenly frogmarched Chulwoo amongst the hostage and showed that he was alive.
