Episode 1
What is supposed to be an auspicious day for a wedding ceremony turned into a brawl and the bride runs away with her best friend to Shanghai.
Gu Jiao was having a wedding ceremony but she jilted her husband in front of their guest by telling everyone that her husband had been using the marital bed but not with her. The lover of her husband sent her a selfie of her with Luan Yu in bed.
In Shanghai, Gu Jiao confessed that her relationship with Luan Yu was never perfect because coming from a lowly background, his family look down on her.
When Yuan Ge asked why she agreed to register the marriage, Gu Jiao said that after graduation, Luan Yu had been looking after her. She never held a job.
The two ladies went clubbing where Gu Jiao danced the night away but then when Yuan Ge who went to the look came to look for her later, Gu Jiao was gone. Gu Jiao then told her that she was not coming home that night.
A guy at the club gave Gu Jiao his hotel key card and she was on her way to the hotel
Poor Yuan Ge was worried about her friend; it is bad enough that she just found out that she might be undergoing early menopause.
