Episode 1
This drama is entertaining. Jerron Wu is here. He is a good actor.l
Anyway, Qi Yue is a happy-go-lucky kinda girl. She doesn’t care much about education and took pride in coming last in the school exams.
One night on her way home, she felt that she was being followed.
She was right. The guy that was following her introduced himself as Qi Shuo, her son, which of course shocked her.
Anyway, she indulged him and listened to his story. He knew so much about her and told her that she must try to get to know her future husband.
She was curious enough to ask who her future husband was.
When he told her that it was Lu Xiao she thought that he was really a fake. She and Lu Xiao can’t stand one another.
Qi Shuo said that science can prove that she is his mother by getting a DNA test. Sure enough, she is 100% Qi Shuo’s mother.
Episode 2
Qi Shuo encouraged Qi Yue to go for Lu Xiao.
Lu Xiao however is cold, though kind enough.
Qi Shuo moved into Qi Yue’s apartment being her son. But the technology of 2021 is archaic compared to 2051 so while Qi Yue was out Qi Shuo made a mess in her apartment. But he is really protective of her.
Episode 3
Qi Yue begins to feel motherly love for Qi Shuo because he was so caring towards her. It was examination time, Qi Yue started studying and asked Lu Xiao to semi tutor her.
Episode 4
Qi Yue improved at lot at the exam but it all ended up in tears for her because the teacher suspected she cheated.
I love this drama. I cried a lot as well. It is well-scripted and has good acting by the cast.
There was a girl as well who tried to come between Lu Xiao and Qi Yue in the person of Liang Yu Fei, who was Lu Xiao’s childhood sweetheart.
Lu Xiao, however, was a very straightforward guy and told Liang Yu Fei that he was not into her. He was only looking after her at uni because her mother and grandma asked him to but it does not mean that he will become her bodyguard. He added that if she felt that she was being stalked as she told him she was, he said to call the police not him. Because by this time, this once nerdy genius had fallen irrevocably with Qi Yue.
Deng Shu Ling, a nurse, Qi Yue’s best friend was falling for Qi Shuo and he was sort of attracted to her but he had always in mind that in his world she was Auntie Shu Ling, the same age or even slightly older that his Qi Yue, his mother.
Qi Yue was getting this dream of seeing Qi Shuo disappearing into the sea. She often woke up screaming and Qi Shuo would be there to comfort her that it was only a dream, the opposite of reality.
There was a basketball player who had been pursuing Qi Yue. He was Xu Zhao Yang.
Qi Shou told Qi Yue that she must never ever entertain Xu Zhao Yang because her fated was Lu Xiao.
Qi Yue believed in her son and relied on him so much. He was very protective of her. Just the thought of his mother getting hurt, he would run off to save her which surprises both Lu Xiao and Deng Xu Ling.
Finally, Qi Shou managed to get Lu Xiao and his mother together after graduation.
He started investigating Xu Zhao Yang and found how miserable his life was with his aging mother in a small apartment/room.
He felt guilty about them because it turned out Xu Zhao Yang was his real father, the one who put his mother into so much misery and domestic abuse and misappropriated her inheritance as well.
Qi Shou did not tell Xu Zhao Yang about their real relationship but he was kinder to him after finding out his poor background.
Meanwhile, Qi Yue and Lu Xiao had decided to get married. Lu Xiao noticed that Qi Yue and Qi Shou’s relationship are closer than that of just cousins.
Qi Yue confessed the truth to Lu Xiao who was unbelieving at first but she showed him the DNA. To be honest, I do not know what fully happened because it was not subbed in English from Episodes 13 – 20 yet.
Anyway, Lu Xiao began to come to terms with Qi Shou’s time traveling because Qi Shou did know so much about Time Travel.
Qi Yue fainted during a second wedding ceremony. It was because she was already pregnant.
Of course, because Qi Yue did not end up with Xu Zhao Yang, it meant that Qi Shou would not exist. So he vanished. His disappearance was so heartbreaking for Qi Yue and for me. 😭😭😭😭😭. Her solace was the diaries that Qi Shou left for her.
Qi Yue’s baby had grown and wanted to see what was inside the locked box. When Qi Yue showed it to him, the journal was already just made up of blank pages as if Qi Shou never existed.🤣😭😭😭
Lu Xiao and Qi Yue were strolling by the seaside with their son who bumped into someone. The young man knelt down and told the boy not to worry. He then told them to take care and then he left but Qi Yue looked back at the man. They smiled at one another because the man, Qi Shou, was now only vaguely familiar to Qi Yue. 😭😭😭😭
