I must say the cast is really good looking.
Anyway, the story started in 2018 at Yunjiang University. 22 year old Shen Xing Ruo had just won an award and being feted at the university. Her boyfriend, Lu Xing Yan went on the stage and proposed to her….
It then jumped to 2024…
Yes, it looked like Xing Ruo and Xingyan broke up.
They met again at the airport’s business lounge when Xing Ruo unknowingly approached the long legged handsome man to convince him to join a reality dating show she was producing.
It was too late when she realised that the man was Xingyan who was rather dismissive of how Xingrou’s career had turned out. She was supposed to do documentaries but now reduced to doing reality show.
Anyway, the dating show Xingrou would be producing was called Go Back Lovers where former lovers could confront and maybe rekindle their relationship. Xingrou was with her assistant who was not aware of the relationship between Xingrou and Xingyan. He tried desperately to convince Xingyan to participate as they had been finding it really hard to persuade anyone to join in.
Before it really got more confusing, Xingrou received a call from her best friend reminding her of their appointment.
Xingyan said that he was going to give her a lift to the appointment as he was invited too.
It turned out they were the bestman and bride’smaid and were to attend a divorce ceremony of their best friends.
The divorcing couple were running on strong emotion and prepared pillows for pillows for everyone including the guests.
