If you can catch this in the cinema near you, try to watch it. It is so good. The underwater scene and the panoramic view of the mountains by the sea is worth seeing on the big screen.
This film has lot of comedic moments and tongue-in-cheek moments. The soundtrack gives a very nostalgic feeling of the era.
Anyway, it started excitingly with women divers jumping into the sea to gather abalones. They gathered a lot but when they got to the shore and sort out their sea harvest, they immediately found out that none can be sold as they were all dead.
The reason was the leakage and sewage from the nearby factory.
So they had to rethink their modus operandi or they will starve to death.
